Peaceful Week at Dunserchin

My family of 5 (including 3 kids 4 and under) had the best week relaxing in Rangley and having Dunserchin as our home base. The cabin was quaint and cozy. We loved sitting on the porch listening to the loons and enjoying the view. Mooselookmeguntic is one of the most gorgeous lakes I've ever visited. The dock at this property is great and my kids loved swimming in the crystal clear water. While in Rangley we did a bunch of hiking. We enjoyed a few meals from the OG and got ice cream at the Pine Tree Frosty. Most of our meals we cooked at home. The kitchen had everything we needed. Highly recommend a stay here!

Great Location during a Heatwave

If you want to get off the grid, this is as good as you can get. The property was rustic and spacious for six adults and one child. The location itself on Mooselookmeguntic Lake was great in a week of heat and high humidity. Loved the cooling water for swimming and splashing around off the dock. Basic provisions were nearby at the Oquosoc Grocery (OG) and about eight miles further in Rangeley, the IGA had a wider variety. Cell phone usage was spotty in the area, and if you wanted reliable wifi you needed to go to the OG. Sometimes the wifi at the rental seemed strong and other times not so much. All and all it was a great stay and all family members enjoyed it.

Incredible Week at Dunserchin

We have a family camp up in Canada and ever since moving to Maine we've been trying to replicate the magic we had up there. A cozy feel, a lake out front, antique/rustic interior well lived in, and all the comforts of home. Dunserchin was this and more - mostly because of how well Morton & Furbish took care of us during our stay. The cabin is filled with four generations of family art and antiques. You felt like you were visiting a friend's cabin. So much warmer than most rentals these days. The lake out front has a great dock and mooring with the cleanest, clearest lake water we've seen in Maine. The view across the lake is staring into wilderness with only a few boats dotting our horizon. We rented boats at the nearby BMC who were so helpful and friendly, we enjoyed the hikes and waterfalls, and loved driving into the cute town of Rangeley. We are already planning our next trip back. Can't recommend enough. Thank you to the whole team at M&F!

Dunserchin

We had a wonderful time at Dunserchin! The view and location were what won us over. We walked to BM trail and the kids biked to the OG daily. There was plenty of room with the 4 bedrooms and the we ate all our meals on the deck. Loved it!
