The Essex was exceptionally clean! The rooms were all beautifully done and the bed was comfortable! We ate at the Blue Marlin for dinner , the food was excellent and the service too!

Came up for a wedding in Gloucester, so Essex was a perfect place to stay. The whole unit was very clean and spacious. Had a full kitchen and full size fridge which was very helpful. Check-in was very easy and check out too. The unit is connected to another unit so you could hear others but nothing out of the ordinary! Enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if back in the area!

Our stay was wonderful The rooms were spotless. I would highly recommend the place. The only issue was a glitch trying to get in to the place. We called tech support and they provided the phone number to the owner, she called us after a bit and was very apologetic about the mix-up with the entrance to the VRBO. It had all the comforts of home.
