If you are a nature lover, you'll love our location. 200 yards or so in either direction will lead you to treasured habitats on foot. You can choose a secluded salt/freshwater inlet where you can launch a kayak, paddleboard, or jump in for a swim, or you can choose to explore the maze of trails in Ravenswood Park on foot or by bike (gorgeous fall leaf peeping). Up for a picnic, then pack one up and enjoy the sea breeze at Stage Fort Park, a mile down the road. When nightlife calls, whether be it fine dining or eating in the rough, the city of Gloucester or the town of Essex awaits your visit. Ready for the big beaches, get your towels and sand chairs (we have both for you to use) to head for Good Harbor or Wingersheek Beach. Singing Beach in Manchester-By-The-Sea is easily reached within 10 minutes by following the route we live on, Rt 127. Two train stations are close by for a day trip to Salem, MA or to Boston.

At this time, we can offer you a king size bed setup in the 'Blue Room' as the bedframes are designed to be able to assemble together. Please let us know in advance. Twin XL beds are offered in the 'Blue Room' and 'yellow' room. Please ask for our 'Easy Trip Stuff' list which is s compilation of items avail for your use. You won't have to pack those huge beach towels, we've got you covered!

We offer a newly renovated 1300 sq ft 2nd floor unit which features a large vaulted kitchen that opens up to a spacious dining and living room area. The unit has a nice flow: open kitchen to living room, long hallway leads to separate bedrooms off to each side, bathroom access from hallway and blue bedroom, separate private deck and an additional 'reading' room. A 55" smart flatscreen tv offers you the ability to hook up to your Internet, cable tv or you can relax to enjoy iheart radio. Search for your favorite music or maybe you'll like my favorites: Nat King Cole radio, Easy Jazz, and Benny Goodman Greats.

Our cozy bedrooms feature 2 twin XL beds each with new 10" memory foam mattresses to give you a good night's sleep - AC is avail in every room or if you prefer, we have plenty of fans. The master bedroom leads to a spacious private roof top deck that everyone can share. Our bathroom is large and features accessories you may need such as that iron and ironing board to smooth out travel wrinkles. Did forget your toothpaste, sunscreen, or other small cosmetic staple, we probably have it avail. Tired and want some time alone, our converted Victorian style sleeping porch will offer you an oversized chair with ottoman for quiet reading or dozing off. If there is a member of your party who snores, we can setup a makeshift bed in this room, AC avail in here as well.

By staying at our place, you'll save money and you can finally travel light. How? We live here and we are available to give lots of information about local restaurants, events, sightseeing venues, and more. No need to pack that heavy cooler, or try to stuff beach chairs in the car. If you flew in, you'll have the necessary beach items available to expand your adventures. My wife and I are easy going and our place is known for our Freshwater cove friends to stop by our firepit. You're welcome to join us. People describe us as being generous, friendly and helpful.
