Why Nigel and Julia Cooper chose Sisters
We love the peace and quiet this property offers and is perfect for recharging the batteries and getting that much needed sunshine.
What makes this House unique
Use as a base camp for skiing, hiking, hunting etc. Come home to a soak in the tub and then take in a movie while enjoying the light of the wood stove. Or, relax in front of a book and watch the deer stroll by - you might even catch an elk. Take a stroll or mountain bike in the nearby canyons while tracking the mountain lion footprints. Don't forget to enjoy the local mirco beer such as the Three Creeks Hoodoo Voodoo IPA and local tastings and their pub house.

Spent the New Years holiday with two other couples outside of Sisters. It was everything we had hoped it would be, great views, private and well equipped. The hot tub was perfect (there were tons of towels as well), the kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and the heaters kept the house very warm despite the cold nights. Would highly recommend if you want some peace and quiet.
Very peaceful, lovely home.
Very peaceful, lovely home.
While I was not able to attend, a friend's family, who attended in our place, loved it. Got to see the total eclipse as well! Very peaceful and relaxing setting. Highly recommended.
Hot and very poor air quality
Forest fires caused very poor air quality and breathing challenges all three days. Had to spend most of our time indoors and with 90 + degree weather during the day and very warm nights made it hard to be comfortable. Surely not the owners fault but used all three fans, ceiling fans, went and got another fan to try to cool down but still very uncomfortable especially for the older folks. The SGD really needs a screen. We were concerned with the freezer as took almost a day to freeze ice cubes and a bag of ice was half melted. Ice cream could not stay frozen and the outside of freezer felt very warm. Owner was notified. On the plus side the beds, games, close to Sisters with good restaurants, DVDs were great but only 2 channels on TV. House would be great in winter but really needs AC in the summer.
Comfortable, quiet, well appointed
This house was quite comfortable for a few friends and myself- middle aged ladies who occasionally gather for "girls weekends ". In this case it was the Sisters quilt show. The four of us found the three bedrooms well furnished with comfortable beds. The two bathrooms were clean with plenty of hot water. We enjoyed stretching out on the deck in the evening and grilling dinner on the large grill. The living room is also we'll furnished and quite comfortable. We found all the cookware, dishes and appliances we needed to prepare all of our meals. The location is lovely and quiet with deer, birds and amazing trees to enjoy. Although we were aware of neighbors, we always felt a sense of privacy. The drive to Sisters, Redmond or Bend is easy in case one wants to go out for shopping or a meal. I can recommend this house.
So relaxing and peaceful
Love the solitude... enjoyed the wildlife..firepit and hot tub..only downfall was no central ac..it does get hot until the sun goes down.
Rural property located on 10 acres nestled in Ponderosa Pine and Juniper set well back from a quiet road. Tastefully furnished and close to a myriad of adventurous activities; or just soak in the peace and quiet on the huge deck, in front of the fire pit (season permitting) or relax in the hot tub.
