Why Nigel and Julia Cooper chose Sisters
We love the peace and quiet this property offers and is perfect for recharging the batteries and getting that much needed sunshine.
What makes this House unique
Use as a base camp for skiing, hiking, hunting etc. Come home to a soak in the tub and then take in a movie while enjoying the light of the wood stove. Or, relax in front of a book and watch the deer stroll by - you might even catch an elk. Take a stroll or mountain bike in the nearby canyons while tracking the mountain lion footprints. Don't forget to enjoy the local mirco beer such as the Three Creeks Hoodoo Voodoo IPA and local tastings and their pub house.
Pool / Spa
Need peace and solitude while being just a short drive away from Sisters? This is your place! The home is just as described and more, and we found it to be just what we needed. Sisters is a wonderful little town with plenty of quirky shops, and good places to eat and drink. I highly recommend it, and if we're in Sisters again we will definitely choose this serene place to call ours for a few days.
We loved this charming home and had a great relaxing vacation!
This home was very comfortable other than it could use air conditioning. It was very hot the entire time we were there but we found a unit and that helped a little. The last day we also found a fan in the closet. This should be noted in the house instructions. We liked that is was very secluded and set back from the road. Overall we loved the home and peacefulness of this property. The cute little town of Sisters is also very quaint and loved browsing through the shops. Lots of hiking, waterfalls & river rafting fun nearby! Definitely a great place to stay & visit!
Comfortable and well stocked. Beautiful and quiet setting.
Comfortable, cozy and serene. Everything worked as intended. Owners very responsive to questions.
GPS and Google Maps gave a different name to the street than VRBO info. Actual street signs matched Google.
Some boards the very nice deck have warped and twisted with nails sticking out. This poses a safety issue for tripping, especially for children.
The frige water filter needs to be changed.
Last, the washing machine has the craziest timer I have ever seen. The "52 minute" wash cycle took about 90 minutes. This was a bit frustrating as we were trying to wash towels and get them in the dryer (per owner instructions) and be out by the requested checkout time.
Overall an excellent choice and we could see ourselves returning if travel plans jave us back in the area.
Beautiful, peaceful property
Very peaceful relaxing place to stay.
The owners seem to have thought of everything
to make staying there a good experience for their guests.
We would love to stay there again!
It was nice and secluded.
It was nice. We could have benefited from air conditioning because it was very hot. We loved the hot tub and all the wildlife outside. The beds were very nice.
Comfortable, quiet, great location
We enjoyed our stay! The house is comfortable, spacious, and clean. The kitchen is well-stocked. We found the location to be very convenient and found lots of good hiking nearby. It is a great place to relax! The hot tub is also a giant thumbs up.
Rural property located on 10 acres nestled in Ponderosa Pine and Juniper set well back from a quiet road. Tastefully furnished and close to a myriad of adventurous activities; or just soak in the peace and quiet on the huge deck, in front of the fire pit (season permitting) or relax in the hot tub.
