DĂ©couvrez le charme du dĂ©but du siĂšcle dans cette maison de 1905 qui est une partie importante de l'histoire de Seward et des États-Unis. PropriĂ©tĂ© du registre national. Beaux planchers de bois franc, salle de bain entiĂšrement rĂ©novĂ©e. DĂ©tails d'Ă©poque et charmantes touches historiques. Vues depuis le salon / salle Ă  manger, la cuisine et les chambres. Ce loft de style appartement Ă©tait le logement d'origine pour les tĂ©lĂ©graphistes du corps de signalisation amĂ©ricain en 1905 et dans les annĂ©es 60. Ce sont les quartiers d'origine des travailleurs du corps de signalisation de l'armĂ©e amĂ©ricaine qui ont exploitĂ© les lignes tĂ©lĂ©graphiques. L'unitĂ© du rez-de-chaussĂ©e (entrĂ©e sĂ©parĂ©e et appartement) Ă©tait le bureau d'origine du cĂąble / tĂ©lĂ©graphe. À distance de marche de tout au centre-ville! CafĂ©s, brasserie, bibliothĂšque, magasins, restaurants, centre Sea Life, parc.

Great location! Clean and Comfortable!

We stayed at this property Memorial Day weekend for 3 nights. The location is close to restaurants and the Sea Life Center. We were also able to easily walk to the waterfront. The check in was easy and communication was clear. Everything was clean and comfortable! Definitely would choose this place again when going to Seward!

The historic relics and decor reminding of Alaska's history and the historic building itself. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet. I enjoyed the views from the living room windows. I wish I had more time to relax in the lodging but I was too busy enjoying Alaska. Conveniently located as well. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location

We stayed two nights. Very easy to walk to the water, just two minutes from the Sea Life Center, many restaurants. The owner communicated very quickly. The living space is large and one bedroom is fairly roomy. The room with twin beds is a little tight. Great views from both sides of the house!

We enjoyed our stay. Apartment was comfortable and we slept very well.It is an upstairs unit and warm air may rise on hotter days (We had one of the less usual full sun days in Seward). Unit cools down fine with open windows and air from outside.Turn back the clock to the early 1900s (Vintage).Comfortable bed. Very clean.Enjoyed our stay.

Highly recommend

Prefect location with a view of the water. Easily walk to restaurants, shops, aquarium and the water. Very comfortable and all of the antiques in the home were an added bonus.

My wife and I purchased this home because we fell in love with its fascinating history, location and feel. We could imagine ourselves here in 1905 and wanted to restore and honor this important part of Seward and U.S. History. Right next to library and two blocks from the part and waterfront.
