About caron mac eoin

I am a New Zealander married to an Irishman, we have lived in France 13 years. I work for Sotheby's Real Estate while Finn, my husband, works for the Savannah School of Art and Design which has a campus here in Lacoste

caron mac eoin purchased this apartment in 2007

Why caron mac eoin chose Luberon Area

Lacoste is an authentic Luberon village overlooking the valley that is a picture in all seasons. Close to all amenities and cultural events, yet peaceful. Real French village life. The apartment is private and has a great view.

What makes this apartment unique

Always the view, the light and the authenticity. Lacoste is NOT home to tourist boutiques and buses dropping off their loads for a whistle stop tour. It is gentle and relaxed.

Excellent and well appointed

Terrific hosts and very helpful. Beautiful place to stay and well cared for. Even provide sharp knives (which is very rare!!). Finn and Caron make sure that their guests are well looked after. And the poetry bonus is free!!

The most exquisite accommodation and setting

  • 5 of 5

Finn & Caron are gracious hosts - available when you might need them but otherwise in the background. The accommodation is perfect - instagram quality kitchen, view, everything. Lacoste itself is a charming village, it's the quiet life for a relaxing holiday and central to visit the Luberon.

The property was just as I had imagined it.

  • 5 of 5

Lacoste is a beautiful hilltop town, quiet at night and away from the big touristy crowds of Provence. The view from the balcony of Finn and Caron's place was amazing and we looked forward to returning home each night to relax with a glass of wine with the valley spread below.

Finn and Caron have taken a lot of care with the renovation and set up of the apartment. They had many good recommendations on what to see and where to eat. They clearly love their little village and want others to enjoy it too. I miss Lacoste already but know I can summon those memories especially in the dark days of February. Thank you for a very special week.

A Wonderful Escape

  • 5 of 5

A perfect hideaway and we felt privileged to have been able to stay in such an amazing place. Well equipped apartment with so much character, lovingly created from what had been a stable under the owners' house. No need to dine out when the view from the terrace is so stunning. Relaxed, engaging hosts who added so much to our stay by their knowledge of the village and the area. Centrally located for all the usual highlights of the Luberon, but hard to beat just strolling up through the village at dusk on a warm evening to the Chateau. We will return.

Beautiful Retreat

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is well appointed and beautifully situated in a lovely Provence setting. Hosts Caron and Finn are eager to make your stay comfortable. LaCoste is a perfect starting point for exploring the area. The view is so amazing that we decided to eat dinner on our terrrace every night instead of eating out! I would highly recommend this property.

An amazing stay in this Lacoste apartment.

  • 5 of 5

The location of this apartment, with views looking out over the valley of vineyards and olive groves, with the hilltop village of Bonnieux in the distance, was breathtaking. The apartment itself, with a pretty terrace outside, was spacious and extremely well equipped and comfortably furnished. Lacoste itself is one of the most beautiful hilltop villages in this western part of the Luberon, largely because it is not overrun with tourists with all the accompanying 'touristic' shops. We will definitely return to the exact same place!
