About the host
Hosted by David Gremillion
My wife and I are born and raised in Louisiana and love BSL. We love visiting with our young children and family and want to share that with others. It’s such a special place that has something for everyone
Why they chose this property
Location and history! It’s so close to everything yet still cozy and quiet. Walk to the Depot for food, drinks, events, or the train in 5 minutes. Walk to the beach in 5 minutes. Walk to the bars and restaurants on Beach Boulevard in 10 minutes. There is also a playground that is less than a 10 minute walk as well that our kids love!
My wife is a designer and I am a history buff so buying a historic property was just the icing on top.

What makes this property unique
It’s historic charm and thoughtful design. We really tried to bring out its charm while also making it feel fresh and traditionally funky. The porches are phenomenal to sit and read or have coffee or a drink. We also really want to cater to families as we are a young family ourselves so we have included some kids toys and games to help with the stay. We have been frequent renters of other properties in the past and we want our visitors to feel at home in old BSL.
