Pops Place is the upper two levels of a rustic log-home lodge. Completely separated from the ground level units, Pops Place guests enjoy exclusive, private access to the expansive deck and covered porch as well as 1800 square feet of indoor living space. The kitchen has everything you need to make your favorite meals. Major appliances are stainless steel. Minor appliances include: a microwave, air-fryer, toaster, and Kitchen-aid mixer. Main floor bathroom offers a large, relaxing soaking tub, perfect after a day on Big Mountain or GNP trails. The Primary's en suite bathroom boasts a 4 body-jet system with a handheld shower head attachment.

What could possibly make a cabin in the woods even more enchanting than all this? A wardrobe that opens into a hidden Narnia theme room, of course! This secret space is located on the top level of Pops Place and delights young and old alike! Winks and nods to C.S. Lewis and the Chronicles of Narnia are peppered throughout the upper level as well. While not nearly as fantastical, the main floor bedroom offers a more subtle homage to another favorite Inkling, J.R.R. Tolkien. With Lord of the Rings books and Shire inspired accoutrement, this space too, takes you away to another magical space. Pops Place is suitable for older children. We are not set up for babies, parties or events. No pets. This is a multi-unit property, more like a lodge than vacation home. Pops Place is completely separate from the other units, but owners and other guests occupy the ground level units. Quiet time hours are 9pm-5am and strictly enforced for the serenity of all guests. The expansive deck is solely for Pops Place guests. We ask all guests to keep outdoor music and conversation to respectable levels so everyone can enjoy the serenity of the outdoor spaces.

Additional offerings and services:

Washer and dryer are NOT available for guest use. Laundry service is available for a small fee for guests staying one or two nights. One complimentary wash & dry is included with stays of three or more nights.

Bear spray is available to use for free upon request. Guests must sign a waiver before use. We have a limited supply of bear spray available for purchase as well.

Books, souvenirs, pre-packaged snacks, and often missed hygiene basics are available for purchase on the honor system from our sundries shelf in the entry-way.
