"Shamrock by the Sea, LBI" - Who says you can’t have it all? Ocean block (only 2 to the beach), in-ground HEATED pool, elevator, modern living!

******PLEASE READ BEFORE inquiring - we only rent from October through April on Vrbo. ******

FRONT AND BACK DUPLEX – This listing is for the front unit (A) of a reverse living, contemporary style duplex. It looks as good in person as it does in these pictures! Available in the off season with a 2 night minimum. Price includes a changeover cleaning. Linens NOT included, but can be rented locally.

We are the third house from the beach, with Ocean & Beach Views, and consists of three stories. The ground floor has inside parking for one car as well as a dedicated stackable washer and dryer. Two additional cars can be parked outside, in front of the garage. Up to the second floor where you will find three bedrooms and two baths with beds to sleep 7 people comfortably. The master bedroom has a gas fireplace and its own bathroom with an extra-large shower that has two shower heads and an extra-large vanity/mirror with two sinks. ALL of the bedrooms contain high end Sealy Posturepedic mattresses with plenty of pillows for a restful sleep after a long day on the beach. Up the stairs to the third floor where you enter the living room with a gas fireplace and 50” Samsung SMART LED HD TV. Past the living room is the dining area with lots of windows and ocean views. The Kitchen is a modern kitchen with wood cabinets and granite counter tops with stainless steel appliances including refrigerator, range, dishwasher and microwave. It is well stocked with all you the equipment and utensils you need to cook and dine in. Want to take in the fresh air? Two sliding glass doors open up to a balcony with more ocean and beach views. Still want more views? Head up the spiral staircase to the Roof-Top and Sun decks and take in breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean, beach and island. YOU CAN NOT FIND A BETTER RENTAL VALUE IN SHIP BOTTOM!

You can also enjoy the spacious fenced in backyard with BBQ area and heated in ground pool! This shared space (with the back unit in this duplex) features a 4ft deep in-ground heated (to 85 degrees) pool with steps and a sitting wall. Two Weber gas grills and dining tables gives plenty of cooking/eating space for everyone to enjoy! To rinse off the salt and the sand from the beach, there are two outdoor showers, one in the back yard near the pool and one on the east side, both shared. In addition, we have two dedicated (one for each unit) enclosed outside showers on the west side of the house! That's 4 outside showers! PLEASE NOTE" Pool and other outdoor amenities are not available from October - April.

Need an elevator? This unit has that too and its available on request for an additional $200/week charge.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! – If you are going to vacation “down the shore” you have to stay near the beach! This house is JUST 43 STEPS from driveway to beach walkway. Stay Ocean block and walk to the beach without crossing any roads. In addition to being close to the beach, this house is close to the causeway so you don’t have to wait in “Island Traffic” when you want to come or go from LBI. Major chain store shopping, including Shop Right, Wal Mart, BJ’s, Costco, Kohls, and MANY others are just 10 minutes away (on mainland). Want to stay local? No problem! Within 3 blocks you have a CVS, 7 Eleven, Wawa, Seafood Market, Surf Shop, Arcade, Mini Golf, Ice Cream Pallor, Bike Rental, Shops and Restaurants including a Pancake House and the “Best Burgers” on LBI! Want to explore other parts of the Island? Barnegat light is just a 15 minute drive to the North and Beach Haven is just a 15 minute drive to the South. Don’t want to drive, take the FREE LBI Shuttle just a block away!

ENTERTAINMENT/TECHNOLOGY - For inside entertainment, this unit features Samsung SMART WiFi connected LED TV’s located in the living room and master bedroom. Logon to your favorite streaming entertainment providers including Netflix, Hulu, Pandora and more or cast video from your mobile devices to these smart TV’s.

HEATED POOL
We open the pool each year in April and have it heated and ready to use by May 1. It is serviced weekly and we maintain it at 85 degrees from May 1 through the beginning of October (through Chowderfest weekend). So come stay with us in May and September and enjoy great savings off in-season rates!

Our trip to LBI

We all enjoyed the stay very much. The house was beautiful and well kept. The beach is right across the street. We had a small problem with the door lock, and Duane was there within 10 minutes to fix it. If we're ever in this area again, I would love to stay there. I would highly recommend this rental.

One of the cleanest and well stocked vacation homes I've ever rented on LBI. The view from the roof deck was amazing. Just a few steps and we were on the beach. We had a fantastic stay and didn't want to leave. Awesome vacation at Shamrock By the Sea, thank you Diane & Kathy! We look forward to returning in 2018!

Best of both worlds

My extended family and I rented both sides of the duplex over Memorial Day weekend. It was perfect to have half the family on each side and still be able to spend lots of time together in the backyard and pool. The heated pool was great and we went swimming every day. The house is the third from the beach so we easily went back and forth each day. Beach chairs, pool toys, and bikes were included with each unit. The units were well furnished and we made most meals in (the kitchens are beautiful!) although we could easily walk to several restaurants. The owner is fantastic. We had an issue with the dishwasher and even though it was a holiday weekend, a repairman was at the house in less than an hour and fixed the problem. Great service, perfect location, POOL!, ocean views, and an ideal layout made this a wonderful and relaxing trip for our entire family.

Great property in a great location

We were in town for a wedding and were thrilled with our stay. The property is right next to the beach with incredible views from the rooftop deck. It is also close to all the entertainment that LBI has to offer and plenty big enough for 3 couples. I would not hesitate to book this property.

Perfect place in Ship Bottom

My sister and I enjoyed a few days at Shamrock by the Sea. Although we were there for a couple of stormy days, the sun did shine for the end of our stay. And the sunrise was absolutely worth getting up for! We had fun exploring and trying new (to us) restaurants and a production at the Surflight Theater. The property was beautiful, just steps from the beach. We will definitely plan a repeat visit.

Property was meticulous. Everything felt relatively new, tons of natural light. Steps from the beach. The balconies (off the kitchen level, and rooftop) are nice touches. My kids loved the bunk beds. The master shower is great. Beds are all comfortable We loved that there were bikes, beach chairs and beach toys for the kids. It made packing that much easier. Highly recommend!

Wonderful escape, perfect house and location!

Don't hesitate to book this property! It is a beautiful house (accurate pictures and descriptions) within steps to the beach. This was our first trip as a family of 3, and we needed a house that was close to the beach because we didn't want to be driving with an 11-month old/lugging things back and forth from a far location. This house was so perfect! When the baby napped, we were able to enjoy the view from the deck, but you also have a view of the beach from the kitchen and living area- can't beat that when the weather isn't great. Also within walking distance to several restaurants and the coffee shop (open daily). Duane was a great host and was super responsive before and during the trip, and checked in on us to see if we needed anything. The pool is a big bonus too! Looking forward to our next stay.

First and foremost, the property was as-described in the listing. It was cleaner than any other rental property I have stayed in. It has some amenities that are difficult to find in LBI: a pool, an elevator, and a rooftop deck with ocean views. The location is great and creates real value as you aren't paying beachfront, however, with the views and the ridiculously short walk to the beach, you may as well be beach front.

The house is really nicely done. Especially loved the roof deck and proximity to the beach. Had a couple of things not working when we got there (which isn't surprising when staying in the off-season), but Duane was quick to address any issues. Shamrock by the sea is a great house with nice furnishings and so close to the beach! Easy access on and off the island. We've been coming here for years and the owners have been wonderful-easy to reach and very helpful. Highly recommend this place!

Beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped

Spent a week the last two summers, and am booked again for 2018. Perfect location adjacent to the beach, modern, clean and comfortable. The owners have thought of everything-there was not an item we reached for in the kitchen they did not have. Outside rinse off shower is ideal upon returning from the beach, especially with sand-filled little ones. Having the pool is also great when you need a break from the beach. Try the chowder at the Greenhouse Cafe (walking distance)...absolutely amazing! Owners are extremely responsive and clearly care that their renters are enjoying themselves. Our only con is the lack of a tub in either bathroom. This poses a bit of a challenge with the kids but we worked around it. Definitely not a deal-breaker. You won't be disappointed!

Why they chose this property

This property is a dream come true for my wife. We spent the first 8 summers of my children's lives vacationing in a house just a stone throw away from this location. Some day we dreamed of owning a little piece of this relaxing island paradise and in 2013 our dream came true! We like this area for its beautiful wide beaches, quiet family friendly neighborhood, and convenient, central location. Easy access on and off the Island is also a big plus and now we have the FREE LBI else could you ask for?

What makes this property unique

Once you step out on to the roof top decks, you will see why we chose this house. Watch the sun come up out of the ocean or go down into the bay. Panoramic views from one of the highest roof top decks in Ship Bottom. Then, when its time to go inside, relax with all of the comforts and conveniences of a modern home. Our guests tell us the nicest feature/benefit we have is having a pool in a ocean block rental. You have the best of both steps to the beach or steps to the pool. Spend your mornings on the beach, afternoons by the pool, cocktail hour on the roof top deck to see the sun go down! Then walk to your favorite restaurant, mini golf, or ice cream. Park the car and enjoy your beach vacation down the Jersey Shore!
