Windham Mountain Ski House with great views of Windham and the Valley.

Great views of Windham Mountain and the valley left and right. The house is 1.3 miles from Ski Windham. Large living room/dinning area with birds eye view of mountain and valley from a wraparound deck. Enjoy an adult cocktail watching the New Years Fire works or the stars. BBQ grill on the deck. Lower game room, ping pong, fooseball, darts with cable WiFi, on demand movies available. Plug in your X box or down load a movie to keeps kids occupied. Wifi, basic cable and phone (winter only Oct-March).
Perfect in the off-season for Wedding Party accommodations.

We are an “off the grid house” with a focus on good ol fashion family things like Monopoly, cards and vinyl albums!
cable recently reduced by Hudson to basic level.
We’ve added a victrola. Bring your vinyl!

House can accommodate 2 families comfortably. House is located on a circular court road with open fields around. Great for walking, hiking and cross country skiing.
Located 5 minutes to town for dinner and/or a movie.

We are following the New York Sate Covid 19 guidelines with regard to cleaning. Which include, cleaning all high touch surfaces and letting property stay idle for 5 days between activity.

Great Villa in The Villages

This was our second time renting this particular villa in The Villages. We have stayed at many others, this is our favorite! Wonderful location, within walking distance to Lake Sumter Square, also to shopping and restaurants. The layout of villa was perfect for our family and had everything we needed for our week stay! Jeff, the owner is very easy to work with. Would highly recommend this place!

Great Home in a Good Winham Location!

This Windham Ski House is in a great location, within 5 minutes to the Main St in Windham. The house was clean and in good condition. Our group enjoyed watching the New Years fireworks from the couch in the living room with a fire going! The owner is very kind and responsive. Would love to come back to this house again!

Beautiful Home and Excellent Owners!

The home was beautiful and very convient for our stay. Working with the owner's was amazing. They were able to answer all of our questions and were very responsive. Everything that we needed was already at the house waiting for us. One of the best parts was that the house key was at the house in a lock box, rather than having to pick up the key from another destination. I would recommend this house to all my friends and family. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

we had a great time at the mountain ski house!

The owner George was very easy to work with . the house was large and quite spacious , very homey and loaded with fun activities for the younger ones . 2 min drive to WIndham mountain . Nothing to complain about . Beds were comfy and clean . the reason for not giving a full 5 star rating . I felt the shower in the main bathroom needed an extra cleaning and I did not know we needed to bring our own towels . So upon arrival when I realized , I called my kids who headed up after me , and I told them to grab a few. Now there is a linen closet as stated in the house description but the towels were meager. But this is just being picky picky . other than that , My Family and I will definitely be renting from George again

Lovely family stay

We had such a nice stay at this property. It’s perfect laid out for a family (we have three kids). Our kids loved the game room and bunk rooms. And it’s truly just a five minute drive to Windham resort. The only thing we wished it had that it didn’t was a bathtub (showers only) as we have younger children. We would definitely return. It was lovely.

Spacious house with great views!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Windham Mountain Ski House in summer. Lots of space for 2 families with in total 5 little girls. We loved the view, the deck with grill, the huge garden and game room. We did some great hikes & swimming in the beautiful surroundings. Only minus, the house did not have much outdoor furniture (only 4 chairs and a small table). Thanks!

Lovely home with comfortable stay

George the host is wonderful and careful about our needs. I reached out to him on the 11th hour of Memorial day weekend and he was ready to turn his home to us. It was visited 2 weeks prior by his family but was warm n ready to move right in for thr weekend. We are a foodie family and there was plenty of China and pots n pans to cook up a feast. The home rest on foothills of Windham mt. And has lovely views of the mountain range. We kayaked about 45 mins away and went for strolls in the neighborhood the other days. I would totally recommend his home to others and look fwd to revisiting the property in the future. The views of the Hudson and the mountains on drive way to the house are just memorizing. One word of caution if you have little ones, take a safety gate as we didn't and our little one had a bad fall down the stairs :(

great stay in a beautiful home!

Wine by the fire the night we arrived was much appreciated! Soaps, dish towels, laundry soap, kitchen basics, etc are great touches, when away from home the little things make such a huge impression. Beautiful home, amazing view. Watched wild turkeys in the yard next door. Would love to rent during ski season. George was very responsive to my every question. Thanks!

We have been skiing windham for years and decided to purchase vs rent for the season. Kids learned to ski in the Windham CLC. We'll be going up during the season but not every weekend so we offer the house to families to share some of the time via a weekend rental.

Why they chose this property

Great view, warm, comfortable and close to the mountain. Stay in and cook or head over to Millrock for Italian dinner, 5 minutes away!
Big sloping yard to sled after skiing or have a big bon fire and spend time in the outdoors.

What makes this property unique

The view is really what makes the house. Have a cup of coffee for the sunrise and then a cold adult beverage later for the sunset.....

House is a 5 minute drive to the mountain too. 20 minutes to Hunter.
