About this property

Catskill retreat, cozy and comfortable with wood fire and large yard!

This is our weekend home. House fully furnished, surrounded by woods, offering privacy and yet near to everything to fully enjoy your get away. The large deck, gazebo, custom built barbecue with oven are great for entertaining all year around. Pool in the summer to cool in hot days.
To enjoy mountain , 10 ml to Hunter Mountain or Windham, 15 minutes to Hudson and Amtrak Station. Numerous hiking trails and golf courses nearby. Great restaurants, many Farmers Markets.

House, yard, pool and barbecue are dedicated to guest only!
Property is maintained on regular bases regardless of occupancy, as grass cutting, gardening and feeding the animals if any. Guest maintain the pool during the stay.
Security cameras around the house. For guest privacy, there is privacy screen in all areas commonly used by guests.

For one or two people we are open to make price adjustments.

Great weekend at this Cairo Gem 💎

Great place, if your thinking about a short stay book a few extra days, I Will definitely book for a longer stay next time. Pool was lovely thank you so much for accommodating us with extra time to enjoy it. Great spot to escape and find peace and balance, breakfast on the pool lounge chairs as the sun rose was a favorite moment for me. Thank you for sharing your lovely space Jass! ❤️

Sister getaway

Great location. The house was clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything needed. Pool was a little dirty and there was only one cooling unit for the entire home. After having it on for over 24 hrs, the house was at a decent temperature. Overall it was a great weekend.

Glad to hear that you had great weekend. Temperature was very high for the region and it happens once every few years. Since we are in the wooded area, surrounded with huge pine trees, pool can’t be without any debris and skimming it before use is recommended.

Great base for skiing

My sons and I stayed here for 5 nights to get in some skiing at Hunter and Windham. The location is excellent, with both mountains being about 20-30 minutes away. The house itself was nearly perfect for what we were looking for, based on our budget. The house was clean, the kitchen was well equipped and the wood burning stove made it very cozy. One minor drawback is there is only 1 bathroom for 4 people, but we managed well enough. Jass is a great host. I would recommend this place and we would stay again in future.

Snowcation

My family and I really enjoyed or stay. The property was especially cozy due to the amazing wood stove. After a day on the slopes we all enjoyed playing cards and boardgames right next to the fire. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Attending a family wedding

Perfect for our short stay for a wedding in Catskill. Jass and Mike were marvelous! Having only 1 bathroom was a challenge. The yard was gorgeous as the fall leaves fluttered to the ground.

Cozy place

We had great time there! Cozy place with comfy rooms and nice living room / kitchen / dining space - just what we wanted for our company! Having only 1 bathroom can be a bit of a limitation for a big group, but we were ok. Communication with hosts was easy and positive. Definitely recommend!

We are family who enjoy beauty of the nature! Seasonally we have a vegetable garden and enjoy hiking. Our house is very comfortable and all seasons are very much enjoyable.
In the summer we eat outdoors in the gazebo, baking bread outdoors, and we enjoy very much vegetables from our garden.
In autman, we love visiting nearby farms.
Winter is cosy inside with wood stove and our yard is perfect place for children to build igloo and enjoy pristine clean snow.
