Welcome to Casa di Sotto in San Giovanni d'Asso ! We fell in love with this beautiful place after spending many holidays in Tuscany. Casa di Sotto is the largest of nine villas of Podere Ampella ( a typical Tuscan estate ), situated on a hill offering 360° views of cypress & olive trees, rolling hills, villages and sunrises and sunsets that will give you an unforgettable holiday. Casa di Sotto is located between Montepulciano (25 minutes) and Montalcino (20 minutes), nestled in the Val d'Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site of exceptional beauty. Wineries, restaurants, villages, abbeys and museums are all within a few minutes' drive, as are grocery shops and outdoor markets.

The house is modern while retaining all the architectural charm of the region - double glazing, air conditioning, fully equipped new kitchen (Easter 2022), high speed internet, Netflix and much more ....

Casa di Sotto

The villa was perfect, lots of room for the 5 of us with incredible views over the stunningly beautiful countryside. Comfy beds, a very well equipped kitchen, good wifi and parking right outside. Great communication from the hosts and property manager. The pool was fantastic, we went multiple times a day. The villa is situated in a quiet development of 8 houses, with lots of towns and villages a short drive away, there’s plenty to explore.

Delightful stay!

What a beautiful spot! Jirina, the property manager, was friendly and accommodating, even though we were late. The house is lovely. Beds are comfortable, with plenty of linens and towels. Kitchen is small and perfectly equipped with everything needed for cooking meals (if you are into that sort of thing). Love the espresso maker! The garden offers comfortable seating and exquisite views of the countryside and magnificent sky. Manager and owners are very responsive to any questions that come up. We loved it and would be happy to stay there again.

Felt like being home in beautiful Tuscany...

Thank you Kristin & Jason for a beautiful home in middle of stunning landscapes in Tuscany. We had an amazing stay with our two adult daughters. Their home is very comfortable and beautifully appointed with all the necessities for a wonderful vacation. The location is excellent and easily accessible, Montelcino, Peinza, Siena, are all within comfortable driving distances, Nestled between the villages of Montisi and San Giovanni d'Asso there is plenty to discover and experience. The house itself is comfortable for 6 adults, although the bath downstair is small but you can expect that from a vacation home. Kristin and Jason were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay and made us fell very comfortable. Certainly a place we would like to visit again and reccommend to our family and friends.

Casa di Sotto provided a beautiful stay for us. The location was perfect for exploring Tuscany. The views were very nice. The house was clean and kitchen was more than adequate.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Umgebung mit atemberaubender Aussicht in alle Richtungen.

Wir haben wunderschöne Tage in dieser Ferienanlage in der Toskana verbracht und uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist traumhaft – absolut ruhig, mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht in alle Richtungen. Besonders beeindruckt waren wir davon, dass wir den riesigen Pool während unseres Aufenthalts ganz für uns alleine hatten – pure Erholung!Das Haus erstreckt sich über zwei Stockwerke und ist sehr gut ausgestattet. In der Küche ist wirklich alles vorhanden, was man braucht, um sich selbst zu versorgen. Die Bäder wurden erst im Januar 2025 renoviert und sind entsprechend modern und gepflegt.Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war jederzeit sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Insgesamt war alles sauber, lediglich in den Ecken und in den Schubladen könnte etwas gründlicher geputzt werden – aber das war wirklich nur ein kleiner Kritikpunkt.Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt – wir kommen gerne wieder! Ich würde fast sogar sagen, dass dies die schönste Ferienwohnung war die ich in den letzten Jahrzehnten gefunden habe!

Wunderbares Haus in der Toskana

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt mit der ganzen Familie. Der Pool ist klasse, die Terrasse hat einen schönen Ausblick, alles ist sauber und die Küche gut eingerichtet. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in der Casa di Sotto sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und sauber, sowie aussergewöhnlich schön eingerichtet. Auch die Poolanlage ist sehr gepflegt. Schöne Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

2. Aufenthalt

Wir waren diesmal mit Freunden zu Sechst eine Woche. Wir haben den Urlaub in dem Haus genossen. Die Lage ist für uns perfekt. Mitten drin und idealer Startpunkt für die Cabriotour in die schönen kleinen Orte.
