Step outside each morning and sip a cup of coffee in bliss, as the view of Little Lagoon from your private balcony is unparalleled. When you are ready for some adventure, Compass Point has several excellent amenities to offer, including an outdoor pool, pier and boat launch, BBQ area, covered picnic area, as well as a beach area on the Lagoon that is great for children! This building is located approximately three blocks from the Gulf!



Inside, you will enjoy a well-appointed kitchen with quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances, so bring along those famous recipes to whip up after full days of fun. The living room has comfortable seating for everyone, as well as a TV for entertainment as the stars come out. The primary bedroom has a TV, access to the balcony, and a private bathroom containing a tile shower. For your convenience, there is a full-size washer/dryer ready to keep everything fresh during your stay.

Great beach vacation

Exactly as listed. We were very pleased with the location (5 min walk to beach) but the secluded pool by the lagoon. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

One of the only places that would allow 21 older to rent! Seriously was so clean and communication with the property management was great! Only thing that wasn’t super detailed was the check-out process and whether we could hang towels on our balcony. We were a little shocked that when we returned they were all off the balcony so we weren’t sure if someone entered our room while we were out. Something like that needs to be stated next time for others! Besides that overall experience was great!

Construction on exterior not pleasant

This is our third time staying in this location. We love the sunsets, the quiet of the neighborhood, and proximity to the beach. However, this time the exterior was being worked on and the noise level during the day made it impossible to stay in our unit during the day. This was even more difficult on a day that it rained and we would have enjoyed staying in our condo for some of the day.

wonderful vacation getaway

we really enjoyed staying at compass point! everything in the condo was practically new and up to date. my only complaint (and I was very disappointed about this) is that the indoor pool was closed. that was one of my main reasons for booking here. it would've been nice to k own beforehand that it was unavailable. other than that we had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Everything was very clean and kitchen well equipped. Construction workers waited till a decent hour in the morning to make noise and this was appreciated. No complaints about them. The only complaint was the sofa. It looked good but was very uncomfortable.

The Point

Very please the the overall appearance and conditions of the building, grounds, and unit. One correction that is needed with the unit we stayed in was in the shower. There are absolutely no grab bars in the shower and for someone my age (84) it is very important to have bars for stability. There also need to have a dish drain in the sink for dishes to drain after washing. The bedrooms were very good and the bedding excellent. Overall, good trip.

We loved the place. Nice. Clean. Beautiful lagoon. Quiet property. I only have two gripes, we payed 3 times the amount to extend our stay on a Thursday. Frustrating. Our code to the door shut off after what was suppose to be a check out at ten, but we extended and were locked out of our room because they didn’t extend the code to our room. The elevator has zero ventilation, or A/C. With it being 100 degrees it’s very hard to breath in said elevators.

Fall Break

From a short term rental host…The condo and location were great. You can tell they have recently updated the condo itself which is a plus. I’m sure the rest of the building will be updated with time. I had two big issues with the listing. One the deadbolt didn’t work. That makes me a little nervous having small kids. Just any kind of extra safety feature (even a chain would be nice). The second thing, and the big thing is there was no disclosure that the indoor pool wasn’t in operation. Which according to others has been awhile so it should have been disclosed. That is the only reason I booked this property. We are also from the coast so we knew the outdoor pool would be too chilly so this was a big letdown to us since it was the reason we chose to not be beachfront. The rental agency wasn’t the best. We didn’t have our prepaid parking passes and when we told them their response was look around. They did eventually come in and drop some off at some point while we were at dinner. Overall I’d stay again, just some kinks that I’m assuming are from being new host.
