I wanted to share my experience staying at this rental. I did arrive late at night, and the renter was very nice and responsive, which I appreciated. However, the pathway to the entrance is not lit at all, which made arrival difficult and unsafe—I had to use my flashlight just to see where I was stepping.Upon entering, there was a strong unpleasant odor throughout the home. The space did not feel clean; there was visible dust, and one of the ceiling fans even had spider webs on it. The main bathroom had a noticeable sewage-like smell, which was very concerning. When I turned on the shower, the water initially ran orange, and there was visible orange staining in the corner of the bathtub.Additionally, there was dust on top of the microwave, and overall the place appeared to be very poorly cleaned and possibly rushed or poorly remodeled. The smell in the house was so bad that we had to spray perfume and light a candle just to make it tolerable.Overall, while the host was kind, the property did not meet basic cleanliness or comfort expectations.
