About the property

3 Bedroom, 4 Bath With Mountain Views. Lots Of Parking

Come and relax in the peaceful surroundings of rural western Colorado. Located 20 minutes from Grand Junction. Stay in the three bedroom, 4 bath home that sleeps a total of 9 people, two in each of the upstairs bedrooms, four in the downstairs bedroom (two queen beds), plus a day bed area for another person to sleep. Enjoy the morning sunshine beaming through the floor to ceiling windows as you breakfast at the dinette or on the outdoor patio.

Read a book in the sunroom while viewing the Grand Mesa National Forest Mountains, or glance out on a clear day and see the snow packed San Juan Mountains in a distance. Look to the west and see the Uncompagre Mountains. Better yet, bring a jeep, four wheeler, or 4 wheel drive vehicle and visit all these mountains within a few minutes of the home.

Watch the peaceful beauty of nature from the comfort of the living room chair while deer, pheasants, quail, bunny rabbits and domestic horses roam the 40 acre property. Or, enjoy the convenience of Dish Network television.

Maybe a hiking or snow shoeing day is on your agenda. If you want to get away and relax, or want an outdoor wonderland, not too far from the home, than this is the place for your next stay.

This is property will have a caretaker or owner on site to tend to the livestock, fields, yard work and flowers. They live in an apartment upstairs, separate from the house. You may see them working, they won't disturb you. Unless you want to be.

High speed Internet service is available.

About Linda Weber

We love living in the rural area of Colorado and enjoy all the outdoors. When not enjoying this great home, we are horseback riding the mountains or RV'ing around the country.

Linda Weber purchased this house in 1988

Why Linda Weber chose Northwest

This place was a piece of heaven the first time we saw it. It has everything an outdoor enthusiast wants. It's a great get-away to relax and enjoy the solitude of quiet reflection.

What makes this house unique

This property is close enough to Grand Junction, 20 minutes, to enjoy all the amenities of a large town, yet far enough away to experience rural life in the west.

Weekend In Wine Country with Family and Friends

  • 5 of 5

This VRBO is an A+ all the way. Linda and Rick are wonderful host. The home itself is extremely comfortable. It has everything you can imagine. The views are wonderful and it is extremely peaceful. Definitely a great place to stay to get away from it all, yet be close enough to Palisades and Grand Junction. Thanks Linda and Rick for a wonderful stay.

perfect family gathering

  • 5 of 5

We had a family gathering here in May 2016. It was a great place for all of us to get together- we cooked most of our meals in the kitchen, all the pots and pans and utensils we needed were there. The children loved playing in the yard and watching the horses.

Beatiful home and amazing property

  • 5 of 5

This home is incredible! The views are spectacular, Rick and Linda are kind hosts, and the overall experience was outstanding. We traveled with three toddlers and an infant and had plenty of safe places for them to play and there are lots of toys at the house. We highly recommend this if you are looking to get away for a bit.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the review and kind words. It's always fun to see kids and their reactions to horses "up close and personal". Wide open spaces with plenty of room to relax and feel safe in the country are what we are all about.

From the front door step into an outdoor wonderland of hiking, biking, horse back riding, four wheeling, and jeeping, just a short drive away from the property. Hike the Grand Mesa trails, or drive to the Uncompagre for even more trails. Bring your horse and take a horse back ride into the Grand Mesa National Forest. Bring your four wheelers or jeep and drive the many trails that await on the Uncompagre National Forest. Or, just sit back and relax in the comfort of a quiet and peaceful rural setting where the nearest neighbor and main road is a quarter of a mile away. It's so quiet, you will hear a birds wings flap as they pass overhead. Really!
