Come enjoy the cool inviting waters of the Guadalupe River! You will love our spacious, fully furnished home, located in a family neighborhood. The property is perfectly situated on a quiet spot of the river, away from the hustle and bustle of tourists, but close enough for all the fun. It is perfect for a small group gathering, a girls' weekend getaway, and for families.

The house features a multi-level floor plan with 3 bedrooms and a sleeping loft, 3 full baths, dining for 12, fully equipped kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances, spacious living area with 3 couches, cozy stone fireplace and flat-screen TV, and a washer & dryer.

The huge backyard boasts 4 levels of outdoor seating for relaxing and enjoying the water view. Grilling is available on an outdoor charcoal barbeque pit. More than twenty 100-foot pecan trees shade the lush riverside grass, perfect for a game of soccer or football. A boat ramp is available nearby for launching boats and jet skis, when the water level is acceptable. There is a private dock for tying up, which is also perfect for fishing. So bring your fishing poles, kayaks, tubes and floats, and enjoy a relaxing vacation on the river!

The house is conveniently located 15 minutes from downtown New Braunfels, Schlitterbahn water park, and tubing on the Guadalupe and Comal rivers. There is much to do in nearby historic Gruene, home to Texas’s oldest dance hall (Gruene Hall), several great restaurants and wineries, and abundant shopping in the quaint boutiques or at the Gruene Market Days. More shopping is just 20 minutes away at the outlet Malls of San Marcos. Nearby attractions in San Antonio include the Alamo, Sea World, Fiesta Texas, and the famous San Antonio River Walk, just 30 minutes away. You are also a short 45-minute drive from the state capital of Austin, and all it has to offer. In New Braunfels, you will never run out of things to do!

This peaceful setting is also an ideal area to spend the mild Hill Country winter months. If interested, please call, as long-term winter rentals are negotiable.

A great property on the river. We had a great time in the outdoor spaces for our trip with our adult kids and grandkids. Plenty of beds and the kitchen is so well stocked. The hosts are wonderful!

Great Family Place

Great place for a family weekend getaway. Short walk to the river. Plenty of space and sleeping spots. My family had a great time, we swam, fished, grilled out. Highly recommend!!

Great River Haus

We had a lot of family travel to New Braunfels for a graduation and rented the house for 4 adults and one child. It was perfect. Clean, had everything we needed and a ton of space! We even had 5 unused beds! Great weekend!

Beautiful Riverfront

We had the best time relaxing on the Guadalupe River located steps away from the back patio. The multilevel patio/decks were so nice with plenty of chairs and awesome views of the river. The water was deep enough for floating and there was a small current in the water to sweep you away at a slow pace, so we anchored ourselves to a floating cooler to keep us in place. The house had everything we needed for a weekend getaway!

Great Getaway

Awesome property for a family gatherings! Home is beautiful and host is amazing! Home is stocked with anything you might need. On the water- only issue is the people on boats and jet skiing they don’t respect people on the water or fishing- they actually cut our lines and almost hit us.

Bridal Shower Weekend Get-Away

This past weekend we celebrated my niece’s upcoming wedding with a Bridal Shower Celebration Weekend at this beautiful River Haus! It was truly a magical place for a perfect family Bridal Shower! We absolutely loved staying at The River Haus with its beautiful architecture & floor design, as well as the breathtaking River View landscaping and outdoor accommodations! This was the perfect spot for not only the lodging at this gorgeous vacation house, but also for the convenient location into the historic town of Gruene for dinner, live music, and toasts to our bride-to-be! The River Haus was absolutely perfect in every way! And we can’t wait to visit here again!

Girls weekend

My daughters and my oldest’s bridesmaids and moms all celebrated upcoming nuptials! This house was perfect! Everyone had their own bed, the kitchen was great for entertaining, and the living room was perfect for games! The multi levels were so fun to adorn with festive decor! We drove to Gruene both evenings. The girls floated the river in San Marcos during the day! It was a perfect weekend! Thank you to Michelle for being so amazing of a hostess!

Awesome Summer Vacation

We stayed at this rental last summer and absolutely loved it! The house is so clean and on a beautiful piece of property. We enjoyed fishing, floating, canoeing, and chilling down by the water. There is also a deck that is perfect and tranquil for your morning coffee. Plenty of room for kids to run around and lots of room to sleep. Has a great restaurant (Blake's) right down the road. Close to Gruene and Schlitterbahn. This would be a perfect place for a girls getaway as well!!! Our family cannot wait to go back this summer! DP- Cypress, TX

Perfect Getaway!!

I can't say enough great things about this property. The photos accurately reflected the appearance of the property. It has everything you would want. Perfect place by the water. Lots of room for the kids to run and play. The house is emaculent. Owners were so friendly and helpful in answering all our questions. Close enough that we enjoyed driving in to San Antonio to the riverwalk. This really is a place for everyone. We will definitely be going back. LOVE! LOVE!

We chose this property because we loved its location, and 'away from it all' feel. We spend as much time as we can here, because it is truly our happy place. But when we can't be here, we love the idea that others are enjoying it also. We looked long and hard for a property that we loved both inside and out.
