Thank you so much, Phil! It was a pleasure hosting you and your group! You guys were amazing and left the place perfectly clean, very much appreciated. Hope to welcome you back anytime!
Host was quick to respond to questions. Checked in with us soon after arrival to make we were all set and to see if there was anything we needed. The Beds were Exceptional! Truly the best sleep I’ve had in years. Bathroom was great too. Stylish, had lighted mirror with charging area inside, Extra large shower head for a spa feel.Got to a chance to meet the hosts dogs before leaving, which really made us feel great. Will be going back when planning my next trip to that area.Thank you Wag.

The shower in the bathroom was nice. Everything else was in decent condition.I grew to dislike the lack of any meaningful soundproofing between the rental and the rest of the house. Bass-heavy music, a barking dog, and loud conversations easily came through the two doors that connected to the house. In addition, the unit had a strong smell of cigarette smoke during two of the evenings when I returned to sleep.
The property listing highlighted a glass wall with a view of a large deck and fenced yard, which was not included in the actual rental. I arrived on Wednesday, October 7th, after an 18-hour drive from South Carolina. The host’s entry instructions were clear, but the porch light at the top of the stairs was out, making it hard to enter the code sent to my smartphone.Upon entering, I found several issues: a kitchen outlet with exposed live wires, a burned-out lightbulb in the living room, holes in the bathroom wall, missing towel rack brackets, and no bath soap. The two bedrooms, adequate for four guests with four twin beds (I booked for three), were listed as “Sleeps 6.” Two locked mystery doors led to a room with a view, causing sleep disturbances due to noise from the adjacent room.We stayed for 2 nights. On the 3rd day, my grandson had allergy issues, so I stayed in touch while finalizing arrangements for a memorial service. The host messaged, asking if they could turn over my room for another guest. I replied that we were staying until Sunday morning. Upon returning, I found my belongings moved to the living room while my grandson slept under medication. The host apologized, claiming the cleaners were instructed not to move my belongings and asked if I still needed two bedrooms. An attempt to exit through the front door was thwarted when I discovered that the interior door opened, but the exteror (storm) door could not be unlocked - FIRE Hazard.
