About this property

Cozy & comfortable mountain cabin with great Government Camp location

Summary:

Cozy Cabin in Government Camp

The Space:

This cozy and cheerful cabin is a skiers dream and is ideally located for downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter, as you can ski from Timberline Lodge straight to the home's doorstep via the Glade Trail! This newly remodeled mountain cabin offers guests the use of a newly updated kitchen to cook delicious meals in plus a comfortable living area that is centered around a wood-burning fireplace insert that is the perfect spot to warm up by after a long day of skiing or snowshoeing! This adorable home can accommodate up to five guests, so bring the loved ones along and enjoy this amazing space!

What’s nearby:

The cabins neighborhood is great for walking. In a few minutes, you can stroll to Government Camp’s main drag where you’ll find a small grocery, several restaurants and bars, and places to rent or buy outdoor gear for all seasons. Without getting in the car, you can be cross-country skiing or hiking, depending on the season, on the Glade Trail, Crosstown Trail, or around Trillium Lake. A short drive will take you to Ski Bowl, Timberline Lodge, Mt. Hood Meadows, the Teacup Nordic Center or Cooper Spur Resort. Take advantage of Government Camp’s increasingly-vibrant commercial strip, where you’ll find a small grocery store, several restaurants and bars, and several places to rent or buy outdoor gear for all seasons. If you’re looking for lower prices on rental equipment, there are several rental stores in surrounding towns (e.g. Sandy, Rhododendron, Parkdale).

Wonderful stay

We had a great 3 night stay with our family of 3 the cabin is super cozy and really well appointed with everything you need. The location is fantastic with the local market a very short 2 minute walk away, and we spent some great days at mt hood meadows. We got lots of gorgeous snow while we visited.

We loved this little cabin as a getaway retreat for the weekend! We just wish we would have realized there was no tv for a movie night, but we loved it!

Cozy Mountain Cabin

Very clean and convenient for walking to shops and restaurants, yet still close to skiing. The classic pine paneling, vintage art and wood-burning fireplace made for a delightful stay.

Great location and quaint little cabin

This cabin was a perfect location and tucked back quietly off the main drag of government camp. Easy to walk to downtown for an evening drink or bite to eat. Well stocked kitchen given the size and two nice size bedrooms upstairs. Very cozy inside!

Cozy with a great location!

The cabin is right in the heart of Government Camp! It's very easy to walk to restaurants and even over to Summit and Skibowl. Additionally, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals in house as well.
