INSIDE THE HOUSE
After arriving in this leafy neighborhood overlooking the water, pull up outside the house on a driveway with parking space for 4. A dark wood walkway leads up to the front door.
As you step inside, turn right into the main living room – an open-concept space with hardwood floors and lots of natural light. There's seating for 6 on a charcoal gray couch and sofa chair. After a day of coastal adventures, curl up for the evening in front of a 40” flat-screen TV.
Next to the living area, a dining area with a glass top table seats 6. From here, gain access to a wrap-around back deck with a BBQ grill and outdoor seating overlooking the trees.
Next to the dining table, an open kitchen makes it easy to chat with the group while prepping meals. Find plenty of appliances close to hand, including an electric stove-oven combo, microwave, and dishwasher. In the mornings, fire up the coffee maker or whizz up fruit smoothies in the kitchen blender.
A hallway off the living area leads to a bathroom with a single-sink vanity and shower/tub combo.
Further along, you'll find the primary bedroom, furnished with a queen bed and 32” TV.
Next door, a snug 2nd living room offers an extra hang-out space with an L-shaped couch and 42” TV with cable.
The remaining bedrooms are located upstairs. On the left of the stairs, a bedroom has 2 queen beds, while the 3rd bedroom comes with a queen bed and two twin beds.
Both bedrooms also share access to a bathroom with a shower/tub combination.

Great location!
Great spot. Liked this area much better than Bar Harbor because it was more relaxed. Very close to Jordan Pond and trails. Colonel’s downstairs great place to get food.
Easy access, laundry facilities available and convenient.

Peaceful Retreat
Northeast Harbor is about 20 minutes drive to all the places we wanted to go in Acadia and provided a great place to unwind after long days of hiking. Great location, quiet street, excellent food and coffee just downstairs. We were also pleasantly surprised to discover that we were just minutes from our Acadia cruise!
Location: Great. Easy drive to almost everything in park. Northeast Harbor has several good eateries, small grocery store.Cleanliness: FineNoise: Air conditioners quite noisy. Can hear neighbors occasionally. Town very quiet in evenings. For the price, I feel there should be closer parking available without worrying about 2 hour limit until nightime. A few more amenities in the kitchen....sharp knife and cutting board for one.Overall, nice place with good location for visiting the park

Review
Hotel-like accomodations near Acadia National Park. Clean. Loud air units, worse when it rains. Bed could use another blanket. Has sink, fridge, and microwave, no stove. Shower fills with water when bathing. Low water pressure. Can hear other guests.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Location
Colonel Suites
The place was nice - the outside was gross - trash container at the entrance to the suites over filled with garbage every night - construction on both sides - street parking only which was, at times, limited - remote area had to drive at least 1/2 hour to most things. Never had wi-fi apparently an ongoing problem.
