Nice location. Very clean. 1 thing the house was only 56 degrees when we got there. Took awhile to warm up.

This is a cozy ranch style house with a finished basement that has been turned into a bunk room. The decor is a bit worn and the paint is chipping in places but the beds are comfortable and the location is ideal for a ski getaway -- 10 min to Canmore, 20 min to Attitash. The living room is comfortable and there's a nice big TV for the kids to watch movies on after a long day on the mountain. The biggest thing in need of improvement is they should fire their cleaners. The house was incredibly dusty with a thick layer lying on every flat surface and under the beds. We spent quite a bit of our time cleaning when we got there. Also several of the closet doors are falling off their hinges and could use fixing. The final recommendation is that if the house sleeps 8, it would be great to provide a table with enough seating for 8 people as well as sufficient cutlery, plates and glasses. That said, the location is fantastic. In addition to the mountains being nearby there is also a hiking/cross-country skiing trail that is accessible right from the house. We had a great time!
Two families of 4, with kids all aged 5-9, had a great experience here. The home is cozy, "lived in" (in a good way), and very well appointed for our needs. We wanted a warm, comfortable home, slightly removed from the bustle of Route 16 but still convenient to the mountains and attractions. We did not want or value some of the "perks" that come with luxury slope side accommodations. So, this home was perfect for us. Oversized mud room a HUGE plus in winter months. Bedrooms were comfortable for parents. "Kids zone" basement was just perfect for our little ones. Overall, it felt like the North Conway I grew up around -- frankly, I can't believe a quiet residential street like this still exists, given all the development up and down Route 16. We would - and probably will - come back, feeling comfortable that this property works very well for our family and friends.
