  • Beautiful, roomy, convenient!

"We had a fantastic time during our stay at this charming, well-appointed home. Tucked away in a sweet valley, it felt like we were miles away from it all - when in fact we were conveniently located not 5 minutes from the shopping and dining of North Conway. The home was warm, comfortable, quiet and peaceful. We found everything we needed (and then some) in the home - kitchen gadgets we forgot, area maps, a spotting scope (which we used to observe the Super Moon, what a treat!), and many other creature comforts. The home is located on a beautiful piece of land with trails that wind and meander... there's even a downed tree-turned-bridge over a crystal-clear brook. One could spend all day out there! We traveled to this home with our 6 year old daughter and her grandparents from Arizona. Our daughter slept up in the loft area and she LOVED it! Her own secret hideaway. The adults had ample space to spread out and relax in the two main bedrooms, both with fantastic views. We didn't spend too much time out on the (huge) deck, but we did admire it and decided we'd do some grilling next time so that we could enjoy that awesome space. The owner Paul was super gracious and incredibly helpful! We had a couple gaffes (like locking ourselves out after a walk) and Paul came to our rescue right away. He is a wealth of knowledge regarding the surrounding area - from restaurants and pubs, to hikes and special drives - he had recommendations specific to our group, which was awesome. My husband and I plan to go back soon and often! You cannot beat the location of this home, and its' proximity to the year 'round fun to be had in the White Mountains."

  • Perfect spot for families!

"We headed up with a total of three families for a long weekend. We had plenty of room, kids had plenty of space to play, it was comfortable and homey. It's minutes from Cranmore where we were skiing. A great spot, we hope to come back!"

  • Very clean and good size for a family of four.

"Great place and great location! The house was clean and simple to maintain. It was nice to be just off the main drag and near a bunch of great trails. Also Jim is really prompt to answer any questions you may have. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend this place."

  • Spacious - great location

"We enjoyed our stay at the house. It was close to town, Whittaker Woods, and our friends' ski house. There were plenty of beds but we did not realize that 3 of the beds were in one room. The beds were comfortable too. Bedside lamps, a microwave oven, and a standard coffee maker would have been appreciated. The bakers kitchen was a fun addition."
