We loved our stay at O’Neal Cottage. The house was clean and well-stocked. The covered porch was lovely and the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee on cool mornings. The parking path was narrow, but that’s to be expected in Montreat. We were close to the campus and enjoyed many walks there. We definitely loved our stay here and would highly recommend this place to others.

Thank you for the wonderful review. We're so glad the home was clean and well-stocked for your arrival, and that the covered porch became your favorite spot for morning coffee. How lovely that you were able to explore the campus and enjoy walks in such a peaceful setting. We'd be delighted to welcome you back to Montreat anytime.

BY THE TIME WE LEFT MY GUESTS HAD FALLEN IN LOVE WITH THE HOUSE OF DOORS WHICH WE AFFECTIONALLY NICKNAMED THE O'NEAL COTTAGE. THE VEIW IS SPECTACULAR PERCHED ON THE SIDE OF A MOUNTAIN. PLAN TO ARRIVE BEFORE DARK AND IGNORE "DEAD END" SIGNS, OR NOTIFY HOUSEKEEPING TO LEAVE ON LIGHTS.

Thank you so much for this wonderful review. We love that your guests fell for the house of doors and gave it such an affectionate nickname, and we couldn't agree more that the view perched on the side of the mountain is something special. That's a helpful tip about arriving before dark, and we appreciate you sharing it with future guests. We'd love to host you and your group again whenever your travels bring you back.
