Comfortable rooms, nice kitchen, love the deck off of the bedroom. Neighborhood is quiet and the people we met were friendly. Fenced in yard and fire pit were great. We stayed to see the trolls at the arboretum.
Very comfortable home. A great location for families with kids. Easy access to local resources and sites but also a relaxing space if you just want to stay in. We’ll be back!
My husband and I stayed in this great place for 3 nights and had some friends join us the final night. This house was perfect for our stay. Fully stocked kitchen was great and there was plenty of room all around. The neighborhood felt safe and we walked into town a couple of times. It was about a mile and a lovely walk. Thanks for a great stay!
Immaculate. Well stocked kitchen. Ample parking. Great shopping and restaurants. A previous guest mentioned "sketchy" neighborhood. Obviously this person never spent time in a small mountain town. My daughter has lived in Black Mountain for several years and we lived in another local town. It's a very nice area; you just can't think it's going to be like a big city or suburb. That's the beauty of these small towns.
The town of Black Mountain is so quaint and the people are incredibly nice. So exciting to see things are coming together after the horrific hurricane. Our stay was comfy and we particularly enjoyed having a glass of wine on the upstairs balcony in the evenings.Communication was quick and easy.
Emily and Ben were fantastic hosts! Everything was exactly as described. The fenced in the backyard was such a welcomed feature and the dogs loved having a space to roam, sniff, and explore! The bed in the master bedroom is super comfortable. Everything was clean and smelled fresh. Overall, such a lovely stay and we can’t wait to return for another visit.
We enjoyed our stay! This house was clean, quiet, well stocked and perfectly located for hiking at Lookout Mountain and a quick evening trip to Asheville. There was plenty of space for 6 adults and we managed to park 4 cars between us without issues. Definitely recommend for a weekend mountain trip!
What a great spot for our family! We were in town visiting a number of family members in the area and needed our own space to relax and enjoy the mornings and evenings and sporatic moments in between. This house was delightful with more than what we needed and the location was perfect! Truly you can not do any better in Black Mountain!!
This is our 4th time renting Saddle Up and we have enjoyed staying there every time. The house has lots of room and is in a nice quiet neighborhood and close to town. We plan on renting it again!
We had a great stay! The house was clean and thoughtfully decorated. It was perfect for our young boys since it was fenced in and had kids toys and books. A 5 min walk to the Main sidewalk led to downtown Black Mountain. Locals we very friendly and helpful! We really enjoyed our stay!
