This home away from home sits in Wendell State Forest on four acres, and is deceptively close to everything you need, while feeling quiet and secluded. It is a short drive to the local Co-op and other amenities, and you are 18-25 minutes from Montague, Turners Falls, Orange, Greenfield, Hadley, and Amherst, and 35 minutes from Northampton and Athol, giving you access to grocery stores, shops, restaurants, movie theatres, UMass Amherst campus, arts venues, and outdoor recreation. The house has onsite laundry, hot tub, fire pit, and WiFi. There is a back stone patio for eating outside and grilling, and a fire pit and little creek running behind the house. Driveway snow removal is provided in the winter, making this the ideal winter getaway, whether you're staying in for some down time or heading out to nearby ice skating or skiing at Berkshire East. A guidebook to the area is provided, and the hosts are happy to point you in the direction of anything you might be seeking in the area. With cities like Worcester and Boston less than two hours away, there's no end to what you can explore from this lovely home base!
