The beds at this home are so amazing, you'll want to sleep all day! The home is well placed, near the park and all the action, yet secluded. The kitchen has every amenity and the welcome packet you receive when renting here lets you know everything about the community and area - most helpful!

Fantastic place!

Great cabin - we loved our stay here! The location is in a beautiful place and is well set up for enjoying being outside. We had a great time using the BBQ and sitting outside on the porch in the evening. It is a VERY well thought out place - so much attention to detail. You have pretty much everything you could ever need there. Everything is clean, tidy, well cared for. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and it made even more sense as you could tell how much they love the place and want others to enjoy it as well. We've stayed in a lot of rental houses both here and in our New Zealand home and this was one of the most well thought out and cared for places. We would just point out for families with very young children that you might want to bring a large safety gate for the top of the stairs. We have one year old twins so brought one with us but it was a bit too short so we had to be a bit creative. That is an easy fix though. Otherwise this place is great for families or I imagine it would be wonderful for a couple's retreat as well. Thanks so much to the wonderful owners and also Mountain Home Montana for making it such an easy and well organised stay!

Wonderful fully equipped cabin, very comfortable and convenient to the park.

  • 5 of 5

Our family of parents and two young adult children had a wonderful Yellowstone vacation together, our first in many years. The bed downstairs was like sleeping on a cloud. The kitchen was so fully equipped we were able to pack our box lunches and prepare several meals without worrying about the little details like spices and condiments. Laundry facilities were appreciated as were little extras like lotion in the bathrooms. Loved the fluffy towels. It was a perfect home base for our very packed 3 night stay. Our only regret is that we did not get to spend more time at the cabin. Would return again in a heartbeat and try to hang out more next time. Home away from home.

Quiet hospitality close to YNP

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful time in our restful cabin after long days of hiking in our national treasure, Yellowstone. There were people staying in WB 2 but we never heard them. The cabin is spacious and comfortable with all possible amenities provided. The lotion bottles throughout the cabin are an especially nice touch given the dry air of the mountains. We heard wolves and coyotes every night and felt very close to nature. Other nice touches included having spices, coffee filters, sandwich bags, and other necessities on hand. There were lots of board games as well as stacks of informational brochures about YNP and the Tetons. The owner had detailed directions for working the TV, DVR etc which was good for us unfamiliar with using satellite TV. It was a little annoying to have parental controls preventing us from watching some TV shows like Family Guy. Loved the ultra modern washer and dryer and used it a lot. Kitchen is very well equipped and we never ate a meal out, preferring to cook our own food (we are vegans). There is a small, supercrowded grocery store in W. Yellowstone where we would shop every day. It has the basics but nothing fancy. That was all we did in W. Yellowstone and we were very happy to drive past the lines of people waiting to get into the town's restaurants, back out to our cabin to fix a meal that was probably way better than what these restaurants would have.

Two very small complaints: the built in kitchen table and benches are very nice, but there is something wrong with the finish of the table top. It was constantly sticky. At first we thought it was dirty and we kept scrubbing it, but that made no difference. The other issue is the recycling. We weren't sure what to recycle, whether it could all be combined or needed to be sorted, and the recycling bin out on the patio was ridiculously small. We filled it up the first day. After that we just kept a large trash bag in the cabin and kept filling it up.

Can't wait to return to Yellowstone, and when we do, we will be looking to stay here again!

Great cabin

  • 4 of 5

Great cabin just outside of West Yellowstone. Very cool design-kitchen and living room upstairs (although you need to haul a few things up). Comfy beds, well stocked, nice TV, enough room to spread out, washer/dryer, just about everything. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was the wireless. The first night was great. After that, it was very slow - hard to even get email at times. Also hard to find initially. Make sure you plan. Also, the posted dumpster instructions do not make any sense. We tried.

If you want a nice place just a few minutes outside of the nice little town of West Yellowstone, this is it. You can swing into grocery stores or restaurants in town very easily but then not be stuck in a small hotel room. Upstairs bedroom has 3 beds so our kids got their own. Loved it overall - just fix the internet.

A Wonderful Place to Relax and Recoop after Visiting all Area Attractions

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I throughly enjoyed staying at the Wooded Bliss One cabin in West Yellowstone. Everything possible was available to us in the cabin. Laundry facilities was so convenient as well as a super stocked kitchen with every utencil that you could ever need. We would love to return sometime and bring more of our family. There is room for at least 7 to 8 people to sleep comfortably with three full beds and a twin bed as well as a fotoon sofa. Two full bathrooms was so handy for upstairs and down stairs. Loved this cabin in the wooded mountain side.
