About Sue

We are from the Modesto area and have spent numerous summers on Tulloch Lake. We were fortunate to have had the opportunity to purchase a waterfront home and found it to be so wonderful that we wanted to share it with others. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Sue purchased this house in 2013

Why Sue chose Gold Country & High Sierra

Summers on South Shore are fun in the sun for all ages! Leave your boat parked at your own dock slip in the backyard. Watch the kids swim from in the private cove area from the deck of the house. BBQ and enjoy the amazing views. Spend your evenings sipping a cocktail lakeside on our beautiful patio with fire feature.

Fall & Winter stays are amazing! Quiet & serene, just the sounds of nature. Rainstorms on the lake are an experience to be treasured. Sunsets are vibrant colors of pinks and oranges, so beautiful! Relax and renew your spirit with a stay in the winter months. Sip wine, enjoy the electric fireplace, bask in the awe of the season, or spend a day fishing from your backyard, along the shoreline. Although water levels are lower in the winter, the lake is still accessible from our backyard.

What makes this house unique

We like South Shore because of it's serenity in comparison to the busy traffic of North Shore. The campground and marina are just a quick boat ride, or short 5 minute drive from the house; allowing you to pickup supplies, hang out at their bar, or grab a burger.

And, being at South Shore is a much shorter drive when coming in from the central valley.

Relaxing and oh so quaint!

  • 5 of 5

This was a great weekend to be at Tulloch. No holiday traffic or crowding. Both neighboring houses were vacant this weekend, which made our stay even more relaxing. This house is so perfect we don't want to leave!

The house is cozy with everything we need for the weekend and a great view of the lake. The deck is nice and large for comfortable sitting, space, and safety for the kids to play.

If we could come to this house every weekend we absolutely would!

Perfect House for a Fishing Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at the H2O Bungalow and Lake Tulloch. We all enjoyed the house, and it had everything we needed. We got rained out 4 days out of 7, but the house's ample back deck gave us a place to hang outside, BBQ, and enjoy a libation or two. When we were able to fish, the dock worked perfect for parking the boats while we grabbed a lunch. Had the weather been better, we would have had no qualms about leaving the boats in the water overnight as the cove was very calm (even in the bad weather). If you're looking for a house for fishing vacation, look no further. Sue, the manager, rocked! She was easy to communicate with, always getting back to my emails promptly, and with an answer. When there was tornado warning (no lie) in neighboring Oakdale, she called to make sure I was aware of it. It was first rate, we had a blast, and will be back next year!

Beautiful view, comfy home w/ great outdoor space

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay! It was so peaceful over the Thanksgiving holiday and had everything we needed to make a full T-Day dinner. It was cozy, relaxing and made us feel at home. The lake frontage/access was a real treat with beautiful sunsets! Absolutely perfect if you have a boat, but still able to fish right off the dock if you don't. Can't wait to come again!

good times!!

  • 5 of 5

My sweetheart and i had the pleasure of spending a few nights and days at the H20 bungalow for our vacation/anniversary,what a wonderful place.

its down at the south end of the lake, much quieter then other areas and less boat traffic, but just a short ride to marina for bait or other items

house is clean, well equipped, comfortable, private, quite. all around nice.great dock for the boat, and good fishing from there too. nice accessible lake front area just a few steps away for swimming and playing. the fish were swimming right up to us .

i could go on and on about how great this place is but words can not describe it well, we looked at the pictures before arriving but there is nothing like experiencing in person .

we have stayed at many rentals over the years, this was one of the best.

we give it the following ratings in no particular order 1-10 10 being best

accessibility 10

parking 10

cleanliness 10

kitchen equipped 10

comfort 10

boat dock 10

i guess it would be easier to say that we had not one complaint our only regret was not booking a longer stay, this says much about the owners attention to creating a great experience for guests

by the way

communication with owner 10

thanks for a wonderfull time

We'll be back!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here with another family for an extended weekend and had such a great time. The location is at the far end of the lake, but the cove was perfect for fishing & swimming. Our kids (age 7 & 9) were completely entertained all weekend, we actually ended up spending less time on the boat because hanging out on the dock in front of the house was so relaxing and convenient. We ate at Drifters Marina (10 minute boat ride), good food, it was nice to sit outside watching the boats. This was our first time on this lake and we're looking forward to coming back!
