Enjoy a nice game of tennis on our local courts. Take a dip in the beautiful swimming pool with spa and use the on-site BBQ area. The condo sits right on the edge of the rock cliff right on the beach. You can see spectacular views at night of the city of Kona.
This property was wonderful and as advertised. Kevin responded very quickly to any questions we had and the home was clean and well equipped. I would stay here any time for the sunsets alone. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Kona.
We couldn’t have been happier with our condo. The place was immaculate and our very large Lani offered spectacular views. Beds were comfortable and ceiling fans did their job. Had some difficulty figuring out the TV but we didn’t come to Hawaii to watch the tube.
The only negative was the noise from the third floor. It is customary to remove your shoes once inside your place. People can create a lot of noise walking barefoot on a tile floor, but they don’t realize it. Especially kids running back and forth. Resort landscaping was immaculate and nice to be in a gated community. Beautiful pool which we used often. And large grocery store within walking distance.👍?👍?
This condo was awesome. It was meticulously decorated, fully stocked with everything you'd need to cook, and had an amazing view. We LOVED keeping the doors open and hearing the crashing of the waves all day/ night. The pool was great. I'd stay again for sure!
We arrived at night, so we were so excited to wake up in the morning to see the views of the ocean that you could hear all night. Amazing!!! Kona has plenty of stuff for adults and kids to do. Condo allowed us to make our own meals and be at “home” relaxing after busy days out on the ocean. Beach within walking distance, as well as a pool within walking distance. We saw amazing snails, lizards, crabs and really fun birds.
Target, Walmart and Costco all around 15 minutes away to pick up any necessities. Make sure to take reusable shopping bags because there are no plastic bags in stores. We would come back and stay here again. Great first experience on Kona.
The property is lovely-the grounds are a tropical retreat with beautifully maintained grounds. Our condo was on the water which was so great to go to sleep with the pounding waves. If you are a light sleeper-close the doors. The condo has been upgraded with stainless appliances in kitchen so it has a modern feel and the pictures are an excellent representation. We were walking distances on .5 miles to one of the best snorkeling beaches (Kahaluu)where we saw sea turtles and amazing snorkeling. The condo is about 5 miles from "town" of Kona.
Our only complaints were this: the tenants upstairs were super noisy and loud so at 5 am the little kids were running and moving furniture. We are not overly light sleepers-it was loud! It would last about an hour and then they would be gone. The noise would return in the evening for about 2 hours from 5-7pm. Fortunately, this lasted about 3 days before they left. If it lasted the entire time it would have been a "deal" breaker for us.
The second isn't a big deal but just a slight nuisance-there are no directions on using the tv. Sounds silly but there is one remote and there is a sequence to access the power and the cable. Fortunately, we called Ken, the manager who was super responsive and walked us through the process quickly. I think if there were written directions that would have simplified things.
PROS: it is a lovely place to stay, affordable, well appointed with dishes/cooking utensils, towels etc. The view is amazing and we loved the sound of the pounding surf at night. Walk to great beaches.
CONS: upstairs noise can be very loud, no AC (we didn't need it but is was DEC), be aware you need to bring your own shampoo and may need to purchase your own TP. If you are a light sleeper, the surf may be too loud and without the doors open for the ocean breeze-it may be too hot. There are fans but I don't think it would be enough to keep someone cool and comfy.
This is a very nice condo in the surf and racquet club. The pictures and descriptions are very accurate. It is a nice and quiet place to stay a few miles outside of Kileau-Kona. We enjoyed walking to the school trust lands beach (about 1/4 mile) and the snorkling beach about 1/2 mile away. The grocery store and a good Japanese restaurant are located in the shopping center about 1/4 mile from the condo.
Helicopter Tours; Manta Ray night snorkel or diving; Greenwell Coffee Farm tour, canoe and paddle boarding.
