Gorgeous and spacious 2 bedroom 2.5 bath condo at the trendy north end of Playa del Carmen FOR RENT OR FOR SALE. The Meridian building has 32 condos and is located on First Avenue and Calle 40 Norte, 1.5 blocks from Coco beach and one block from 5th Ave., the famous 'pedestrian' shopping, restaurant and bar street. The area surrounding the condo is quiet, and a short stroll from many good restaurants and shopping. Swimming pool on the rooftop.
The condo is on the ground floor of the building (great for elderly/retired and for families with small children), and has 2 bedrooms each with its own full bathroom, one with a king bed and a 2nd bedroom with 2 twin beds, an extra half bath in the living area, and an open fully equipped kitchen with custom mahogany cabinets and granite counter tops. All the necessary amenities for a relaxing Caribbean vacation are provided.
Amenities: TV with satellite service and Netflix, wireless hi-speed internet, stereo CD player, new full size washer / dryer and separate AC split units in each room. The condo has been tastefully decorated with modern faux leather and contemporary glass furnishings, custom window treatments, linens and towels. Beach chairs, towels, rafts, ice chest and boogie boards are also provided.

Building and immediate area: This fantastic condo building has interior gardens and is a gated and secure complex. There is a dedicated parking space for the condo. Everything you’ll need for a comfortable and luxurious stay in one of Playa’s nicest areas, north of the ferry to Cozumel, while still being close to all shopping, dining, and entertainment areas. The famous Mamita's Beach Club is 1.5 blocks away, other beach clubs are a short walk on the beach. You’ll also find some very nice off the beach snorkeling at Coco beach

We had a wonderful time at this condo! The location is fantastic- very close to the beach and walking distance to 5th Avenue. The kitchen had everything we needed. We really appreciated the beach chairs and used them everyday. We also used the rooftop pool each day. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall, a great experience and a place we would definitely recommend.

Great A/C, wonderful communication

The manager Deanni was fantastic at helping us with all of our information. The A/C was awesome. They had big jugs of water there for the guest which really helped. Kitchen completely stocked like you are at your home. The King Bed in master was very comfortable. Did not try the twin beds. The biggest washer dryer I have ever seen, worked perfect. If I force myself to try to think of a negative the only thing would be the drain in the master bath tub was very slow. We let the manager know, I am sure she will attend to it. We gave all our left over food and drinks to the nice door man who guards the front gate. Thanks again, Bill and Nancy

I really enjoyed this condo. It was clean. The beds were comfortable. It had everything that you needed. The host was very accommodating. We were close to fifth Avenue, which is where all the action is. There were a variety of beaches along where we were staying. The grocery store was a 10 minute walk away, which was very convenient. I would recommend this condominium.

Nice place but need an update

El departamento es muy grande, busque un lugar en la planta baja ya que viaje con mi madre que es una persona de la tercera edad y no puede subir escaleras. Contras: Necesita mucho mantenimiento, los cojines del sofá están rotos, no deberían ponerlos. La lavadora hace un ruido muy fuerte.Al entrar hay un olor a humedad muy fuerte, deberían de prender los aires acondicionados antes de que llegue un huésped en modo dry para que mejore el ambiente.Se puede escuchar cada vez que alguien entra por la reja principal, ya que la recámara está pegada a la reja. El guardia pone música por la noche así que la escucharás toda la noche.No puedes abrir las puertas ni ventanas ya que los mosquiteros están rotos y entrarán todos los moscos y animales incluyendo a los gatos porque hay como 3La alberca no es de fácil acceso ya que está en la terraza y no hay elevador, sin embargo es un buen espacio.El administrador nunca hizo acto de presencia, nunca mandó un mensaje para la entrega del departamento.Pros: está muy bien equipado, hay muchas toallas, hay juegos para la playa en caso de llevar niños. Las habitaciones tienen baños completos y están lejos una de otra, por lo que no escuchas al otro. Tiene vigilancia las 24 horas del día, estacionamiento, está a un paso de la 5 avenida. El día de mi llegada pedí hacer un early check in y se me dijo que si, sin ningún problema. Solo que por ser temporada alta me llevo más de 3 horas llegar a playa del Carmen desde el aeropuerto.

Condo 108 is convenient and quite. Condo has everything you need for the perfect holiday and only a short stroll to the beach or the famous 5th Street with all the shops, restaurants, bars and the action. Gated with security guards. Great for retired, elderly, families and children.

What makes this property unique

Ground floor easy access, which is perfect for retired, elderly, families and children. Although it has three small steps it's wheel chair accessible. Much new furniture, new full size washer/dryer and 220V to dry clothes fast.
New "Smart" flat screen and gas BBQ grill. Internet through out, cell phone booster, cable TV, ceiling fan on veranda. Lots of beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels and ice chest. Convenience store around the corner and 2 big grocery stores within walking distance
