THE SUITE (Casa Comoda II)
This large corner suite is very spacious and airy, with terracotta floors throughout and classic Mexican-style concrete walls, accented with carved wood doors. Solid wood-framed glass folding doors open completely onto the terrace on the front and sides of the suite, giving you the feeling of being outside even indoors. This gives you a great cross-breeze. Beautiful wood finishings give the suite a very authentic feel.
The suite has a huge built-in concrete base sectional sofa (common in Mexico) with memory foam, perfect for entertaining or sleeping. The sofa sleeps two people comfortably...even tall people!
There is a dining table and four chairs off the kitchen when you want to eat in, although we're sure you'll want to have most of your meals on the terrace.
TERRACE
The huge terrace overlooks Banderas Bay and gives you panoramic, stunning views of the ocean. With its incredible view and authentic beautiful Spanish style architecture, Loma Linda will make you will feel like you have died and gone to heaven.
Barbeque-there is a gas-powered outdoor grill on the terrace. Feel like a steak or fish-fry? Light 'er up and enjoy a barbeque'd meal in the magical open air while you marvel at the 2nd largest bay in the Western Hemisphere.
MASTER BEDROOM
The huge master bedroom is very self-contained, with its own bathroom and vanity area. The bedroom/bathroom can be closed off by a door to the rest of the suite when you want some privacy. The room has a set of large, glass doors that open up onto the terrace, and folding windows on the other side overlooking Banderas Bay. Open up the doors and the windows to the outside in the morning to have a spectacular, breezy, lazy day in bed with a cup of coffee!
SECOND BEDROOM
The second bedroom is on the opposite side of the suite and has its own access to a common-area guest bathroom. There is a small balcony off the bedroom which faces the pretty, well-manicured walkway and vegetation of the complex. This room has two twin beds which can be put together and topped with a king-sized sheet to make one bed. Both bedrooms have tons of closet space.
AIR CONDITIONING
The bedrooms each have an easy-to-use remote access air-conditioning unit, which works very quickly on those days you need to cool down, or for those extra warm nights. Although most of the time you want to feel the warm, tropical breeze, it's nice to cool down on the hotter days.
KITCHEN
Set up with a fridge, stove and oven, the kitchen is well-stocked and perfect for those that want to enjoy an at-home feel. This includes:
*cappuccino maker
*microwave
*tea kettle
*toaster
*hot and cold water dispenser (water jug changed regularly by the maid)
*dishes, pots, pans, silverware, etc.
Bring a pound of espresso to enjoy a latte in the morning.
HOT WATER
Many places in Mexico have small hot water tanks due to the cost of electricity. This means that you can run out of hot water mid-shower. We have installed Hot Water on Demand to give you a limitless supply, because it heats it as you use it. No cold showers halfway through!
MAID SERVICE
Included with your stay, the maid comes six days a week (except for Sundays) to keep you tidy! With the cleaning you will get new sheets and towels. It is customary to leave a tip for her at the end of your stay.
POOLS
This property has two pool areas: one is the main pool with a bar area where you can host your own pool party. The second is a rooftop pool, with incredible views of the ocean, located on the rooftop of the adjoining building just above the main pool area. It has a small pool meant for lounging.
Look forward to:
...watching the sunset from the huge terrace as a warm golden sun sinks slowly into the blue Pacific
...savoring outstanding meals just minutes away at some of the finest restaurants in Mexico
...a lazy lunch and a margarita on the beach under a palapa
...some fabulous shopping in the local Mercado
...a spectacular and romantic sunset cruise on beautiful Banderas Bay

Why Peter Shoulak chose Amapas
We came to Puerto Vallarta for the first time in February of 2014, and fell in Love at first sight! Next thing you know we owned our own property in this amazing city...I guess we knew she was the one :) We have traveled quite a bit all over but this place was the first time we actually relaxed and felt rested when we returned home. While we still love to travel and have many places yet to see, we choose PV as our second home where we go to enjoy the beaches, the attractions, restaurants, numerous activities...and most of all the people!
What makes this Condo unique
The View...the view...the view. Once we got over the view, we fell for the Mexican stylings of the suite, such as the big wooden doors and finishings, combined with the terra cotta floors throughout the suite and on the terrace. The main area is large, open and airy, and was immediately inviting. Everything opens up, and you really feel like you`re outside when you`re sitting in the living room with all the folding balcony doors open on the front and side. Oh, and if you ever leave the suite, you can get to the beach in minutes and dive into the waves. We love the vicinity of the beach and restaurants. Because the complex transitioned from a time share to a strata, Loma Linda had been set up as a resort. The pool areas are phenomenal and the grounds have been very well kept and lush. We still have a manager on the premises during the day who takes care of the needs of our guests, including maid service, key pick up, information, etc.

- There are two bedrooms, with the large master bedroom looking over the ocean. This bedroom is self-contained, with a bathroom/vanity attached, and can be closed to the rest of the suite if desired. A second bedroom has two twin beds, which can be pushed together to make a king. There is a very large built-in L-shaped couch in the living room with comfortable memory foam. It is set up to sleep 2 more people. The foam is 30' wide, with one side 6.9 feet, the other 6.3 feet long. They are long enough for most adults, but possibly best suited for children because they are a bit narrower than a twin bed. Our 25 year-old son slept on the couch and said he was quite comfortable :) There is LOTS of closet space in both bedrooms.

Notes
- For a uniquely wonderful experience, hire Jose to cook for you. He will make a three or four course meal for you for about $25-$30 per person. This includes his delicious flan for dessert, which is highly recommended! Choose from a variety of his menu items and he will do the shopping and come in and cook right in your kitchen. Wonderful experience!

Location
Since you are minutes away from the main beach, Playa de los Muertos, there are many restaurants and attractions to see. It's an easy walk into town for shopping, dining, nightlife, etc. The complex is located on a hill, which gives it the advantage of the beautiful ocean views. Going down to the beach is easy, with stairs leading you down for a quick, 5 minute walk. For a couple of dollars you can grab one of the plentiful cabs to go back up the hill at the end of the day if you`re tired. The cabs are cheap, plentiful and waiting for the locals to go back up the hill to their condos. Walk up to get a little bit of exercise, and you`ll be there in 10 minutes...3-5 if you`re really fit! Although it`s a very short walk, the location may not be good for elderly people who have trouble walking. There are a few stairs leading into the suite as well. CASUAL DINING: Pretty much any place on the beach below the Villa is pretty good if you want just a snack or some simple mexican fare. When you get down to the beach we recommend heading to your right and there are a number of good restaurants. You can't go wrong with any of them. We usually hang out in one of the restaurants that have lounge chairs and you can leave your stuff there while you dip into the ocean, as long as you're ordering food and/or drinks. If you keep venturing farther you will get to FINE DINING: If you want to eat somewhere just around the corner, go to the bottom of the path around the Villa, and to the right across the street on the main road there is a small restaurant called Bistro Teresa. Because it is situated on the hill above the ocean and the place is open air with only a roof, you will get an AMAZING view of the town and ocean...oh, and incredible food. And Teresa is usually there too, so say hello. Very quaint and highly recommended. We were there during a rainstorm at night, and it was fabulous! For fine dining right on the beach, we recommend La Palapa, which is almost directly below the condo. Fine dining in PV is still always casual...you can sit there in your bathing suit if you want! Dip into the water during dinner, then sit back down for a glass of wine :) During the day, you can sit at any of the beachfront cafes or restaurants and get cheap beer or margherita. Many of these places have beach chairs to recline in so if you,re ordering you can park yourself there for awhile and hang out at the beach. THE LOCALS The locals are very friendly and very used to tourists. The service in all of the restaurants is great and they definitely tend to you. In restaurants, they will never bring your bill to you unless you specifically request it. They consider it rude to bring it to your table, even though they have cleared your plates and you have indicated you are finished. You must still ask for it. One thing that is very big here are the beach vendors. You will get asked every few minutes to buy something. It`s part of the culture here and you get used to it...in fact, you learn to enjoy it as part of the PV experience! You can get some really great deals on silver, and they`re pretty legit, but make sure to bargain with them because they always start high. WATER ACTIVITIES: With abundant underwater sea life, snorkeling and swimming are unsurpassed in this area. Pretty much every water sport is available here, including Flyboarding, eco-tours, sea diving, fishing, sailing, dolphin and whale watching, Some activities you might enjoy: Whale Watching-we recommend Ocean Friendly Whale Watching Tours. TEMPERATURES During the winter, temperatures in Vallarta are in the low to mid 80's during the day with nighttime temperatures ranging from the 60-70° F. Summertime, from June to October, is Vallarta's rainy season with temperatures ranging from the mid 80's to low 90's. It is also very humid during July, August and September. If you come during their summer months, it can be amazing at night as the thunder crashes over the ocean and the lightning lights up the night sky like fireworks...leaving a perfect paradise filled with lush tropical greenery and singing birds. Some mornings you can find a gecko or an iguana sunning themselves by the pool or waterfall.
