Good morning Denise Sorry about the miscommunication about the air mattress that was in the back bedroom The hot water tank is on a recirculating pump that kicks in at 5:45 and kicks out at 11:55 If I had known it could have been put on for hours and day. The reason for the pump is to have faster hot water at the kitchen sink for the distance it has to go. I don't provide any coffee cause People usually like their own type. There is a can opener in the cutlery drawer and I figured that there was enough bowls I seen that there was a miscommunication with the Dog's It says $25.00 per dog per night How would you like to deal with it? Thank you for bringing these matters to my attention. It is regrettable that your experience did not meet up to your expectations. I take great pride in my home and take pains to ensure that it is clean and we'll maintained. Previous guests have all been happy. In regard to your anxieties about the house itself, I can assure you that it was professionally built and passed all building, plumbing and wiring inspections unfortunately during your your stay a tree came down on a power line down the road and Fortis took five hours to repair the damage, resulting in an extensive power outage. This was not in my control. As part of my home maintenance I had replaced my hot water tank just prior to your stay. I was unware that the new tank was defective and only heated up to 125F when you notified me of this I immediately offered to have it repaired but you said ""We would rather you wait until our stay is over"" Thank You. For this reason I did not persist in offering alternative repair option. The dishwasher was also replaced and I appreciate your advising me of your difficulties with operating it. My home is clearly advertised as a Rural property. As such there will be ants and other insects, frog's and toads, chipmunks ground squirrels, deer,a wide variety of birds,etc. I understand that you were even lucky enough to see a bear! Typically on Rural acerages grounds are not manicured daily as they might be in more urban settings. The view from any of my front decks is unobstructed and one can see north all the way up Lake Okanagan as far as Peachland to the west we are privileged to see spectacular sunset's Regarding your concerns about dead fish in my pond, despite looking, I have been unable to find any dead fish. My next door neighbour's kindy offer me a site for my fifth wheel during the summer months when I rent out my home. This proximity allows me to make myself readily available in the event of any rental issues. It is not , however, a requirement to notify renters of my living arrangements. I am always reachable on my cell phone- even when I am at work.Unfortunately the gate for your four dogs didn't keep them from going up stairs.
