Just one block to the beach! A freshly remodeled 4 bedroom home that sleeps 10.

'Sea La Vie' as the name would suggest, is a place to leave your cares behind, relax and enjoy life at the beach. This home has undergone a complete renovation making it a very cozy and comfortable home to enjoy with friends and family. The home was built in 1924 and still retains the charm and character of homes built during that era. The home is 1,700 sq. ft and features four bedrooms, sleeps 10, two full baths, large living/dining area, gas fireplace, outdoor wood burning fireplace, tile floors, 55' flat screen TV with surround sound, DVD, cable TV, washer/dryer, wifi and bicycles. Although not ocean view, the home is in a very desirable South Seaside location just 250 feet from the beach and is a very easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Seaside has much to offer all age groups and this very comfortable home is a great location to experience it from.

NOTE: Summer stays require a 5 night minimum however shorter blocks may be available. The VRBO system has limitations showing a two night minimum. This is true except for holidays and Summers as noted under rate information.

About Mike Meyer

We are native Oregonians and reside in the Portland area. We built a home on the Promenade in 2007 (VRBO 200514 and VRBO 433855) and have enjoyed great friend and family time here in Seaside. 'Sea La Vie' was an eight month renovation process that brought the home up to a standard we believe will provide our guests with an experience they will come back for. This home provides a different experience than our Prom home. We describe Sea La Vie as having a cozier, beachier feel. I know beachier is not a real word. It's proximity to our Prom home, just across the street, provides for a great second location for larger groups. We have worked hard with you in mind and hope you enjoy this home as much as we do.

Location, spotless and all the upgrades!

This was a great spot. We enjoyed a single level home for a change, place was in pristine condition and very very clean. The location was perfect just 2 minute walk to the beach. They have a great remote control fireplace that warms the place up quickly and adds to the comfort and character. Its the perfect size for 2 families to share a weekend w the kids w a 4th bedroom. We plan to go back one of these days and would highly recommend it, decorated w charm, very clean (spotless), upgrades and ideal location if you can’t afford the beach front.

Perfect seaside home

We had a group of 6 including two kids and the house was perfect! The kids loved the bunk beds, bikes, sand toys and the close proximity to the beach. It was an easy one-block walk to the beach, and my daughter enjoyed the swings. The house was comfortable, clean, well decorated and the kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, plates, glasses etc. The location is convenient as it's an easy walk, drive or bike ride to the aquarium, carousel, arcade and lots of little shops downtown. There are tidepools nearby in "the cove" and it was an easy drive to cannon beach! Ecola State Park was also nearby and well worth the 15 minute drive. The owner was responsive, helpful and easy to work with. We had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend this house to anyone visiting the area!

Perfect vacation house in the heart of Seaside

Our entire experience renting this house, from start to finish, was fantastic. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with. The house is exactly as described and shown in pictures. The house is clean, open, and perfect for a family vacation. It feels freshly renovated and done well. We loved the outdoor fireplace, courtesy bikes, and comfortable furniture. As great as this house is the best part about it is LOCATION. One block from the beach and nearly as close to town. You are literally in the heart of Seaside in this house, we walked everywhere! We truly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book here again.

Great House

We really enjoyed our stay. The house has had a beautiful remodel which really made the experience enjoyable. Also we really liked how it was a pretty short walk to downtown.

Seaside is located on the Northern Oregon Coast between Gearhart and Cannon Beach. The town has gone through an impressive revitalization in the past decade adding a host of new restaurants and shopping opportunities. The traditional Seaside attractions including the Aquarium, bumper cars, Carousel Mall, Arcade and historic eateries such as the Pig 'n Pancake continue to be a cornerstone of must see and do attractions. The famous Promenade and Turnaround on Broadway, Lewis & Clark Historical sites, Seaside Historical Society, paddle boats, Tillamook Head and light house, hiking, fishing, crabbing, clamming, beach combing and many more opportunities await you in a town that will keep you entertained. Seaside is not like any other town on the Oregon Coast.

There is a FIVE NIGHT MINIMUM STAY FOR SUMMER and three night minimum stay for holidays/3 day weekends and school breaks outside of the Summer period. There are instances when shorter blocks are available.

Stays during the holiday periods of Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years are $375 per night.

Discounts are considered for midweek stays off season, short notice stays within 7 days and stays of one week or longer that are not during the Summer months.

We do not require a damage deposit. We trust those renting our home will treat it with respect. Any damages, extra cleaning or excessive garbage will be charged to the guest.

We do offer refunds that do not match VRBO's canned cancellation options. Please see our cancellation policy for details and ignore the Owners Cancellation Policy note below.
