Clean, but dated

Great experience with rental agent. Lightening fast responses to questions and helped with a special request for a crock pot for our stay. No complaints there. Beds were comfortable. The condo is very dated. Sponge painted walls in very bright colors, a VCR, tapestry sofas. Condo has great potential and was very clean and spacious but seriously needs updating. Showers are slippery and slanted. I think a large person or an elderly would have safety issues. Throwing a towel in the bottom of the shower would help. The resort was run down. Thigh high weeds, etc. Maybe they clean it up for summer? Would have liked to have seen a deadbolt on the door - if someone knows the code they can walk right in. There was no way to secure the door from the outside other than the code lock. Left us feeling pretty uneasy. Cardboard cut-out in front window as a window shade. An iron and ironing board would be a nice addition. Not sure that we would stay here again - we used it as a home base for Paducah Quilt Week so we weren’t there very much. No WiFi - and one of our ladies wasn’t even able to get a single bar on her phone - so no calls in or out or internet service for a week. Mine was spotty - could text and make calls, but couldn’t get any online reception. But - clean and spacious - which is important.

Lake fun

My family enjoyed their stay, however WiFi never worked while we were there and it advertised a pool- which due to covid ( I assume) had not been filled from the looks of it all season. I was disappointed because we had searched to find somewhere that was close to lake but yet had a pool. We chose this property over cheaper options for that reason. And then found upon arrival that the pool was not functional but yet was advertised to have one. It was nice being close to the marina so the kids could fish and use the beach. Condo was large enough everyone had plenty of room.

We had a great stay. Owners were quick to respond and take care of one issue that came up. This place was perfect for our stay and we would definitely stay again!

Nice place with plenty of room

The condo was spacious and slept all 7 of us comfortably. The only issue was the wash machine broke before we arrived and was not able to be replaced during our stay. The owner was very apologetic and communication was easy. Would definitely return.

Great stay!

The property is beautiful and perfect for a large family or a few friends. It's close to the marina and there is a swim beach on the property too. Quite large! Enjoyed the large tub in the master bedroom and the balcony with amazing views. Only thing that could be improved was the wifi wasn't working and our phones didn't have coverage in the area so we were stuck with no Internet (the horror! ). Also, pans and dishes are all provided. However, I didn't think about bringing my own spices and there were none at the condo, not even salt and pepper. A washer and dryer are also in the condo, which was a life saver! Just bring your own detergent. Dish washer detergent was provided as was hand soap and towels. Great overall experience!

Condo at Big Bear Resort

We attended a family reunion at Big Bear Resort and are so thankful we found this gem! This condo is right on the Big Bear premises, with a deck that overlooks the resort and offers a view of the lake. It was an easy walk to the pool, beach, marina, basketball & tennis courts. It was very convenient to park and walk right in, as I was recovering from a foot injury. (Note: some condos within these units are located on the 2nd floor, family members rented one, and it is a hike up those stairs!) Having a washer & dryer was a big plus. The condo is clean and much nicer than the pictures represent. The only suggestion would be that the living furniture be replaced...most uncomfortable, no one could sit on it; luckily we had great weather and were outdoors boating, swimming, kyaking, and enjoying the beach & pool. This condo offers plenty of room for a family with a big table to gather around, additional seating at the counter, a spacious living room - large enough to do yoga with a view of the lake, and a good sized deck with table & chairs. The owner was lovely, and very responsive to questions we had. I highly recommend this property, especially if you're looking for accomodations at Big Bear Resort.

Fabulous Kentucky Lake vacation

The condo was spacious and nicely decorated. The beds and couches were comfortable. We slept well. Outdoor patio was perfect for lounging and relaxing after a fun day at the pool or the lake. We want to go back.
