Are you looking for a view? This is the home for you! Enjoy panoramic views inside and outside. This end unit townhouse located in Desert Hills III, Green Valley, AZ has a natural desert on two sides and views from Tucson to Tubac!

At Green Valley Escapes we lovingly care for our homes while adding a personal touch. This home has a private outside covered patio with beautiful landscaping and several areas for enjoying outdoor living. The inside features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sitting room, a soft water system for healthier skin and a kitchen with center cooking island and desk. There is a full size refrigerator with filtered ice and water in the door, dishwasher, stove/oven and microwave as well as a full size washer and dryer. There are lots of skylights and windows that make this a bright and cheerful home. The home also has air conditioning and high speed internet access including a wireless (WiFi) connection as well as space in the garage for your car. There is limited basic cable on the living room TV with a TV in the bedrooms as well. TV's include FREE instant movies from Netflix and Sling Live TV streaming.

Take a short 10 min walk or 3 minute drive to the Desert Hills Social Center. Enjoy the swimming pool, hot tub, tennis, shuffleboard, fitness room, classes and more. Tenant Cards for access to the Desert Hills Social Center are available at an additional fee.

There are numerous nearby golf courses and you’re only 18 miles from Tubac and 39 miles from Nogales, Mexico. Also less than a half hour away is Madera Canyon, a world-renowned location for bird watching.

One member of the party must be at least 55 years old. Maximum capacity: 4

Rental length: January, February and March have a three month min. Other lengths of stay are considered. All monthly rentals begin on the 1st of the month and end on the last day of the month.

Wonderful home

We stayed in Sandie's townhouse for two months and I can't speak highly enough about our stay. The home is very comfortable, well furnished, quiet, and the view is awesome. A real gem that is located alongside of a greenbelt where we we entertained by wildlife every day. Sandie is responsive and professional and i would recommend this vacation rental very highly!

Best view in all of Green Valley!!

We rented this house for the month of December and wish we could stay forever!! It is spacious and the views are amazing. Lovely and large patio and the views from the living room are gorgeous. It is clean, the layout is good, and Sandie was amazing to work with. Master suite layout with walk-in closet is great for a longer term rental. TV had a variety of options, should you want to watch tv. The area is great for walking as we discovered several walking paths/trails in the area. You will not regret renting this place. Thank you Sandie!!

Peaceful Easy Feeling

My Wife and I enjoy traveling and we like using Home away and VRBO. Sandie's townhouse has set the bar for us. The view is incredible. The house is very bright and clean and exceptionally decorated. The area is quiet and peaceful. I can't think of one thing we would change. We could just move right in.:-) We are looking forward to staying here again. It was also great to have Sandie's house manual. It could be a guide for all house manuals. Last but not least it was very nice to meet Sandie and Jim. They are exceptional hosts. This is a great property!

My wife and I stayed in this home for the month of October 2018. We have stayed in several homes in Green Valley over the years. This home is our favorite! The views from the patio are spectacular. We spent many mornings having our coffee on the patio watching the sun rise and we ate dinner and had drinks on the patio in the evening as we watched the sunsets. One of our neighbors said we had the best view in the neighborhood. The owners were great and very helpful. Sandi has created an incredibly complete manual that covers the operation of equipment, activities in the surrounding area, emergency contacts, ... - VERY useful. The home was clean and neat with all of the necessary conveniences. We will be back!

Exceeded our expectations

This quiet neighborhood was just a pleasant 1/2 walk from my parents place. Sandie has thought of every convenience. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We so enjoyed the patio space and the Southwest ambience of the home. We hope this place is available next time we visit!

The view of the mountains from early morning to sundown is spectacular! The home met all our needs/expectations and the host was there for any questions or assistance we might have or need. Would definitely like to visit again.

Desert tranquility

This home was a joy to stay in. Excellent quiet location, tastefully furnished, super clean & well maintained. Well placed windows & skylights add to the bright, open feeling . The expansive view is the most outstanding feature. My husband & I spent many hours watching wildlife , glorious sunrises, painted skies at sunset, and even experienced a taste of monsoon season.. Owner is very responsive & has done a wonderful job with amenities & information . And did I mention the view? We’ll dream of it until our return.

Arizona! August! Affirmative!

Sandie's villa was beautiful, the view was beautiful, and the weather was beautiful. The sun rising above the Santa Ritas was the wonderful start to an early day while it was cool enough to walk, sit on the patio, drink morning coffee and get ready for the day. A busy day could occur till siesta time around 2-5:00pm. Dinner and then enjoying the beautiful starry nights from the patio or standing in awe of a summer rain accompanied by amazing lightening coming from behind the mountains was spectacular. I have always been afraid of storms, but have often said that I hear my name called by the mountains and now I know that even means during a lightening storm! Besides the weather and the views, it was by far the nicest villa in which I have stayed in Green Valley. Sandie, thank you for the wonderful instructions, basics at the villa when I arrived, and for your very prompt response to a very small problem. This was a month of heaven on earth for me and I hope to be back someday. Judith

Lovely desert home

OK you didn't hear this from me.........

....Normally in much the same way I would not share with you my favorite fishing hole or hunting area, I wouldn't tell you about this property. However as we recently found our own place in Green Valley I'll let the secret out. This is a wonderful place! Spacious, private, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean! Within two minutes of our arrival we stood on the terrace and drank in the view as the mountains turned pink. The neighborhood is very quiet and the neighbors friendly. It's a short walk to the Desert Hills GVR center and several walking trails. We both like to cook and found everything we needed in the kitchen. The floorpan is perfect for sharing with family or friends. On the other hand if you are bothered by viewing a large variety of birds, sighting Javelina, Deer and the occasional Bobcat you might not like this.

Great location and terrific views of the mountains

Sadie's house is nicely furnished and comfortable. Loved sitting in the living room in the morning and watching the sunrise over the Santa Rita Mountains. Enjoyed being next to the abandoned golf course for running and bird watching. A few maintenance issues were quickly attended to. We wish we could have booked here for next year.

Great property with fantastic views

We had a wonderful time in Green Valley and really enjoyed our stay at this property. All the appointments were very good and complete. The pictures of the property do a nice job of accurately showing the many features. The unobstructed view from the patio of the Santa Rita Mountains is outstanding, especially as the sun is setting. This was our first time in Green Valley and we really liked the community. We enjoyed getting a Tenant Card so we could use the Rec Centers for pickleball, swimming, water aerobics. There is so much to do in the area - birding, bike riding, historical missions, Titan Missile Museum, hiking, plus all of Tucson close by. We'll definitely come back for another stay.

Stunning view!

Sandie's home was a perfect place for our Arizona vacation! It was extremely clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed. The best part of the home was the VIEW! It was gorgeous. We loved sitting on the patio, looking at the mountains and watching the birds and wild life. We highly recommend this rental.

Marvelous property.

Very accommodating. A bit of a blast from the past in the kitchen. The oven reminds me of the house I grew up in in Montana. We liked it so much we extended Till the next guest arrives. About 3 weeks. We used this for our base of operation while we look for a place to purchase in the area. Would have extended for longer if we could have. Thanks to Sandie and her detail oriented guest guide book.

Fantastic AZ living

We found everything about Sandie's house perfect! The house had all the amenities we needed, it's clean and very comfortable. The view, the wild life and bird song made for enjoyable mornings with a cup of coffee and evenings with a glass of wine. Enjoyed morning walks in the area, where it's safe, quiet and everyone driving by waves. Enjoyed cooling off at the REC centers with an afternoon swim. We exploded Green Valley and surrounding area, but not enough.........we'll be back!

Perfect living AZ style

Sandie has thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. House was fully supplied with everything but food. It was clean, comfortable and had a view of the Santa Rita mountains to die for. My favorite part was the wildlife and the spacious patio to sit back and enjoy. You can take advantage of the REC center pool to keep cool and make friends. The town home was close to everything in Green Valley and 20 min away from Tucson Airport. Can't wait to go back.

A memorable 31st Wedding Anniversary trip

My wife & I highly recommend staying here in Arizona. The home is clean, comfortable and best of all has a beautiful mountain view. The home is well organized with all your needs to make you feel at home. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. There are many things to do if you choose to. Green Valley is a great location. Watching the sunrise & sunset from the patio really made our Anniversary a very romantic and memorable one! We definitely will return again! Thank you Sandie!

Outstanding home and view !

We found Sandie's home to be very clean , comfortable and well appointed. Everything we needed was right on site. I cant say enough about the VIEW , IT IS INCREDIBLE! We enjoyed watching the birds and wildlife in the greenspace adjacent to the back yard while we relaxed on the patio. The Santa Rita mountains are so close and the sunsets each night were magnificent! Even some lightning. The pool at the social center was very nice and a welcome place too cool off in the afternoons. Highlights of our visit include : The Tumacacori Mission which dates back to 1691, Amazing history and this is a must see! The cute artist town of Tubac, A tour of the Titan missile museum , birdwatching in Madera canyon and the Santa Cruz spice Co ! We are already looking forward to another visit! Thank you Sandie!

excellent vacation place!

We visited November-December this year and were very pleased with this townhouse. The listing was accurate in its description location layout, etc. We found the home to be clean, comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated , with an outstanding panoramic mountain view! The property owner, Sandy, was very responsive and provided great customer service. We enjoyed nearby attractions that included hiking in the Santa Rita Mountains, Sabino Canyon, and the Saguaro Desert. Also enjoyed the town of Tupac for shopping. Definitely would return to Sandy's place in Green Valley and highly recommend this wonderful property to anyone!

Idyllic getaway for relaxation and enjoyment of the area

Couldn't have been more perfect! We enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings, the exquisite peace and quiet of the area, the lovely amenities of the home, the convenience to so many activities and scenic adventures, the friendly and helpful neighbors, your every consideration to our comfort and enjoyment! If there might be a cancellation for Feb and March, please contact us. We would also consider April if it were still available. We are so disappointed that we cannot return next year in February and March. There is a possibility that we left an 8 by 3 inch black address book on your premises, if found please advise us. We thank you so much for all your interest in and attention to our visit in your home.

A wonderful house and fantastic views.

This was our first "snowbird" visit. The whole atmosphere of Green Valley was wonderful to us. The house is quite well furnished and tastefully decorated and all the needed utensils, etc, were provided. There is probably no better view of the valley and the Santa Rita mountains in all of Green Valley. Sandie responded immediately to any questions we had. We were sad that we were not able to rent it for next year.
