The comforts of home in a resort like setting with endless views! From the front, this beautiful townhome style condo overlooks the vast mountainside and turn 180 degrees and you can sit on the back Lanai and watch golfers tee off at the second hole of the Waikoloa Village Golf Course.
This condo is ideally centrally located in the comfortable community of Waikoloa Village. Check the temperature and almost daily you can expect a comfortable high of 82 degrees, while only being 10 miles from the Big Islands most beautiful beaches such as A-Bay, Hapuna, Mauna Kea and Spencer beach to name a few. Also within a 10 minute drive you can be at some of the best resorts on the Island which include shopping and restaurants. You will enjoy The Kings Shops, Queens Marketplace, and The Shops at the Mauna Lani. Waikoloa Village is also 25 minutes from the Kona Airport and about 30 minutes to Kona.
The grounds at the greens include a recreation area with tennis courts, ping pong, workout room, swimming pool, kiddie pool, Jacuzzi and community barbecues. A short 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive you will find yourself at the Waikoloa Village Center which includes some quick take out restaurants, a nice community grocery store, and a few sit down restaurants, gas station, and bank amongst other things.
The condo is a beautifully island themed townhouse style condominium which will get you in the Hawaiian Spirit. The 1200 square foot end unit has endless windows giving it a very comfortable and open feel. From the outside you will walk up a 10-12 stairs to the second floor main entry. The main floor includes a nicely stocked kitchen including stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. The floor also has a dining room table and chairs as well as the family room which includes a celling fan, sleeper sofa, coffee tables, lamps, comfy chair, flat screen 42 inch TV with standard cable, Wireless High Speed Cable Internet, DVD Player, Games, Books, and Lots of Movies for you to enjoy! This floor also includes a large lanai with a small table and chairs for you to enjoy the outside.
The upstairs includes 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a washer dryer combo. Both bedrooms are newly furnished, the Master bedroom includes a celling fan, flat screen 32 inch TV with standard cable, dresser, closet, CAL KING SIZE Bed, with a great view of the golf course. The Master bedroom also has a full bathroom connected with shower / tub combo. The guest bedroom is also newly furnished with a Queen Sized bed and celling fan and has a nice view of the mountainside. The second bathroom is also on the second floor and is a full ¾ bath with shower.

We both have enjoyed Hawaii all our lives and after getting married in Kona we wanted to make sure we always had a place to vacation to. We looked and looked and finally found our dream at Waikoloa Greens. We enjoy the Village as it has a family feel, warm days, and cool nights.

I would definitely come back here and refer to friends. It was a very nice place and the beds are super comfortable. As a added bonus, they provided a cooler/ice for the beach, umbrella, beach blanket and towels, beach boards, snorkel gears and floaty tubes! Having a washer and dryer and kitchen was nice too. :)
We've both lived in Kona and visited many times after moving away. While we used to rent condominiums in Kona in the previous few years, the heat, vog, and noise made us seek a different location. This condominium exceeded our expectations. The cool and quiet evenings alone are enough to recommend this condominium. As soon as we walked in the front door we were ready to move in. The large lanai, private golf course view and island style furnishings made us feel right at home.
While we stopped at Costco and stocked up on food supplies before we arrived, it was a great surprise to find coffee filters, sugar and the basics already in place. We made a point of trying to replace anything we used so the next vacationers could experience the same convenience. Boogie boards, beach towels, and coolers are supplied too. There's a grill virtually outside the door.
The beaches and resorts of Waikoloa are a fifteen minute drive away, and the huge, well-stocked KTA in Waikoloa Village is a five minute drive or slightly longer walk. Adjacent to the grocery store is a great coffee shop (Lava Java) and an excellent Italian restaurant. Waimea is only a 20-30 minute drive and it rarely took more than 30 minutes to drive into Kona. The airport is only 18 miles away.
The owners have a treasure in this condominium. We'll readily recommend it to anyone that plans a visit to the Big Island. Its location, amenities and aloha spirit No ka `oi (is the best)!
Since 1978 I have been travelling to Hawaii regularly and always stayed in hotels. The decision to book an apartment via HomeAway was the best I could have made. Our accommodation at the Palekaiko was great, the apartment large and beautifully appointed.

Have stayed at Paniolo Greens condos before, but this unit is the best -- a quiet end unit that's been renovated and is up-to-date.
Absolutely happy with our stay. Condo was much larger than expected. Very nicely furnished. Numerous barbecues with tables on the property. Nice pool, ping pong table. basketball and tennis court with equipment to borrow. Location is amazing, 10 minutes to the best beaches in Hawaii. Not far from Kona, but much better climate. Usually has a gentle breeze in the evening. Easy drive to anywhere on the island. One of the best grocery stores on the island within walking distance. Great shopping within a few minute drive. Made good use of the cooler and beach chairs, which were provided. Highly recommend this location.
We had a wonderful vacation with this as our home base...loved the wild turkeys, short walk to the coffee shop and great pools. The condo had everything we needed, beach gear and well stocked kitchen...it was a great home base for us. The only draw back for us was the traffic noise; early morning, as it is right next to a busy road...so a heads up to light sleepers like us....but otherwise, location is great, beds super comfy; and nothing missing from this vacation condo!
