This 6 acre, secluded waterfront property has views both of the Olympic Mountain Range and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Being on the high bluff one can see Victoria on Vancouver Island, Mount Baker, and the Dungeness Lighthouse at the same time. The house can comfortably sleep 6 people, but we have had upwards of 10 on air mattresses in the living room and the sun room. There is a charcoal Grill, cruising bikes, 5 foot fire pit, and multiple games and books to keep even the most precocious teenager occupied. The beach is not accessible (trust me, I tried it, but it did not work out well) but the views more than makeup for it. Eagles, deer, elk, crows, sea otters, sea lions, whales, dolphins are your closest neighbors. You have human neighbors on one side of the property (about 300 feet away) with untended forest on the other.

About Scott and Ginger Wierzbanowski
Scott and Ginger are USAF veterans. Ginger wanted to put her roots back in the Pacific Northwest so we bought this house to be our home away from home. We have traveled the world over our careers and have not found a more beautiful location than the Olympic Peninsula.
Scott and Ginger Wierzbanowski purchased this House in 2013
Why Scott and Ginger Wierzbanowski chose Port Angeles
We fell in love with this property on the first day we drove by it. The 6 acre plot of land is divided into 4 sections. From Finn Hall Road, you see the makings of a forested garden on the right and a single dirt road guiding you through the grass field to what we call Fable Haven (read the book). Fable Haven is a dividing patch of wild forest you have to go through before you get to the house. The house is on a 1.5 acre section of the plot with gorgeous views of Victoria on Vancouver Island, Mount Baker, and the Dungeness Lighthouse.
What makes this House unique
- Best views of both the Olympic Mountain range and the Juan de Fuca Strait and in the local area. - Large semi-secluded property less than 10 minutes away from both Sequim and Port Angeles. - Charcoal Barbecue Grill - Four Cruiser bikes for the local trails - 5 foot wide fire pit overlooking the Strait
Perfect rental for a family
We loved the Home! It has everything you could possibly need. Very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We fell in love with Washington!
Beautiful location, very comfortable house
This is a wonderful house with many amenities and comforts. The property is so lovely, secluded, and spacious both inside and out. One of our favorite moments was when a deer stopped in the yard for a while just a few feet from the sun room window. We came with four adults and three kids and everyone was very comfortable. There was even a cabinet full of games and puzzles to do. Of course, all that is not to even mention the amazing Olympic National Park. But if you're looking at this house, you must already know about that :) The location was great for visiting the North half of the park. And the nearby towns of Port Angeles and Sequim had everything we needed in terms of grocery stores, etc. (And great local beer/cider at the small local store a few blocks from the house! Thanks for leaving the growlers!)
Great place for a family outing -
The view is terrific and the grounds are huge so great for bocce, frisbee, etc. Also there is an excellent outdoor fireplace. The property has a lot of deferred maintenance (exterior only) but it provides an excellent place for a family gathering. This place has the best quality pans I have ever seen in a VRBO rental!
Had a great visit with 6 of us at the house. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids. Enjoyed the views and the fire pit. Only downside was no one could turn on any faucets, sinks, or showers (hot or cold) when one person was showering. If so, that person immediately got surprised with a cold shower!
Comfortable home with incredible views. Great location to see Olympic Nat Par.
Property was awesome. House had everything you would need.
Beautiful location with amazing views
Highly recommend this rental property. The views of the Pacific Ocean can not be beat. We had deer walking in the yard with us and saw bald eagles every day! The house was clean and comfortable, not fancy, but had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We would definitely stay here again.
Highly recommend the Wild Animal Park….it really is a lot of fun!
