Incredible High Bluff Views Of Victoria, Mt Baker, And Dungeness Lighthouse

Bedrooms 3
Space 1,700 sq ft
Property type house
Minimum Stay 2 nights

About the property

1700 Sq Ft, 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom, Cottage On Secluded 6 Acre Lot

This 6 acre, secluded waterfront property has views both of the Olympic Mountain Range and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Being on the high bluff one can see Victoria on Vancouver Island, Mount Baker, and the Dungeness Lighthouse at the same time. The house can comfortably sleep 6 people, but we have had upwards of 10 on air mattresses in the living room and the sun room. There is a charcoal Grill, cruising bikes, 5 foot fire pit, and multiple games and books to keep even the most precocious teenager occupied. The beach is not accessible (trust me, I tried it, but it did not work out well) but the views more than makeup for it. Eagles, deer, elk, crows, sea otters, sea lions, whales, dolphins are your closest neighbors. You have human neighbors on one side of the property (about 300 feet away) with untended forest on the other.

About Scott and Ginger Wierzbanowski

Scott and Ginger are USAF veterans. Ginger wanted to put her roots back in the Pacific Northwest so we bought this house to be our home away from home. We have traveled the world over our careers and have not found a more beautiful location than the Olympic Peninsula.

Scott and Ginger Wierzbanowski purchased this house in 2013

Why Scott and Ginger Wierzbanowski chose Port Angeles

We fell in love with this property on the first day we drove by it. The 6 acre plot of land is divided into 4 sections. From Finn Hall Road, you see the makings of a forested garden on the right and a single dirt road guiding you through the grass field to what we call Fable Haven (read the book). Fable Haven is a dividing patch of wild forest you have to go through before you get to the house. The house is on a 1.5 acre section of the plot with gorgeous views of Victoria on Vancouver Island, Mount Baker, and the Dungeness Lighthouse.

What makes this house unique

- Best views of both the Olympic Mountain range and the Juan de Fuca Strait and in the local area.

- Large semi-secluded property less than 10 minutes away from both Sequim and Port Angeles.

- Charcoal Barbecue Grill

- Four Cruiser bikes for the local trails

- 5 foot wide fire pit overlooking the Strait

Great property unfortunately the house smelled moldy and master bath had toilet issues.

Owner's Response: Kathy, I am sorry to hear about your experience. We recently had all of the rugs replaced with wood but I will be at the house this week to ensure that we address any adverse smells. We will also look into the toilet and make sure that it is running properly. Scott

Beautiful location with amazing views

  • 5 of 5

Highly recommend this rental property. The views of the Pacific Ocean can not be beat. We had deer walking in the yard with us and saw bald eagles every day! The house was clean and comfortable, not fancy, but had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location for a family gathering

  • 5 of 5

Great house for our family gathering of five adults and one dog. By far the best stocked house of any we’ve stayed in. Kitchen and bathrooms could use a bit of updating but everything was very functional and the view more than made up for it. Badminton and bonfires were great entertainment. Quiet, peaceful mornings watching the ship traffic set the tone for our day. Good central location for hiking ONP. Thank you for a wonderful get away!

Great casual family space

  • 4 of 5

Even on a cool weather stay the view, large outdoor space, and swooping eagles made for a memorable stay. A nice variety of living space for a large family group including small children. Spacious kitchen well outfitted. Comfortable beds and living room furniture. Wonderful artwork. Some of the best burgers on the Green Egg grill by adding alder wood to the coals to give a smokey flavor. Very close to the Dungeness Spit and many lavender farms yet located in a quiet area away from busy roads.

Breathtaking view, spacious house, loved it!

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely loved it! The pictures do it no justice. Very private home with a large back yard overlooking the water. We had 8 people and the house was very comfortable with our large group.
