About the property

1700 Sq Ft, 3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom, Cottage On Secluded 6 Acre Lot

This 6 acre, secluded waterfront property has views both of the Olympic Mountain Range and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Being on the high bluff one can see Victoria on Vancouver Island, Mount Baker, and the Dungeness Lighthouse at the same time. The house can comfortably sleep 6 people, but we have had upwards of 10 on air mattresses in the living room and the sun room. There is a charcoal Grill, cruising bikes, 5 foot fire pit, and multiple games and books to keep even the most precocious teenager occupied. The beach is not accessible (trust me, I tried it, but it did not work out well) but the views more than makeup for it. Eagles, deer, elk, crows, sea otters, sea lions, whales, dolphins are your closest neighbors. You have human neighbors on one side of the property (about 300 feet away) with untended forest on the other.

About Scott and Ginger Wierzbanowski

Scott and Ginger are USAF veterans. Ginger wanted to put her roots back in the Pacific Northwest so we bought this house to be our home away from home. We have traveled the world over our careers and have not found a more beautiful location than the Olympic Peninsula.

Scott and Ginger Wierzbanowski purchased this house in 2013

Why Scott and Ginger Wierzbanowski chose Olympic Peninsula & Pacific Coast

We fell in love with this property on the first day we drove by it. The 6 acre plot of land is divided into 4 sections. From Finn Hall Road, you see the makings of a forested garden on the right and a single dirt road guiding you through the grass field to what we call Fable Haven (read the book). Fable Haven is a dividing patch of wild forest you have to go through before you get to the house. The house is on a 1.5 acre section of the plot with gorgeous views of Victoria on Vancouver Island, Mount Baker, and the Dungeness Lighthouse.

What makes this house unique

- Best views of both the Olympic Mountain range and the Juan de Fuca Strait and in the local area.

- Large semi-secluded property less than 10 minutes away from both Sequim and Port Angeles.

- Charcoal Barbecue Grill

- Four Cruiser bikes for the local trails

- 5 foot wide fire pit overlooking the Strait

Great view and fireplace

  • 5 of 5

Easy to find, clean, well appointed. Enjoyed a fire in the fireplace as it was too wet and cold to enjoy one outside. Everything was as expected from the description. Each room had individual baseboard heat control. Thanks for sharing your home with seven of us - grandmom, 3 daughters and 3 teenage granddaughters.

Amazing Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Our family had the most wonderful time staying here. Not only was the house incredibly warm and welcoming, there were also so many fun things to do in the area. The house is centrally located, so it was easy to plan adventures across the Olympic National Park, and even into Canada.

However, what we enjoyed most was spending time at this beautiful house. We spent hours sitting outside. We saw whales, deer, eagles, and more. We picked blueberries every morning. We flew kites down the driveway. We watched the stars at night.

As my daughter said when we were leaving: "This place is magical." We all agreed. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Everything it is advertised to be and more. Sunsets are spectacullar!

We had the privilege to stay on your well maintained property this August. All the extras supplied were greatly appreciated from the discovery of the telescope, to the archery target in the garage, to the blueberries from the garden for our morning pancakes. You made my Grandson's vacation one he will never forget. To our wonderment he had packed his archery and camping equipment in hopes of being able to go on a great adventure. Your yard supplied the space for his tent, his grand archery adventure and a vacation that he will talk about for years to come.

We enjoyed the yard as much as your home - Sunrise brought the deer, dusk the marine life, sunset the serenity of the ending day that gives way to the starry night and shooting stars. Thank you for sharing your home to allow us to have great memories from our 2016 vacation - The Burris Family

Wonderful property with incredible views

  • 5 of 5

House was very nice. Good communication from the owners on arrival times (they let us check in early since no one was there previously).

Gorgeous views of the Strait and very private. Fire pit, chairs, and lawn games were all perfect!

great location

  • 4 of 5

Great place to have our family stay who were in town for a wedding. Plenty of sleeping accommodations, places to eat together and especially to sit out by the fire at night. Lovely location, quiet and well supplied with anything we needed. Also appreciated the new washer and dryer. Handy to lots of local attractions as well the ferry to Victoria. Good customer service and I would recommend to friends or relatives.

Property and View were Amazing

  • 5 of 5

The house was perfect for a family or group of adults. The beds were super comfy and the living room and dining room provided plenty of space. We love the sun porch that had awesome views of the water and passing ships. The property is private with lots of outside space and I can't even begin describe the view. We meant to have a fire in the outside fire pit but simply ran out of time. The house is little worn but served us perfectly. Check-in was simple with a lock box. We spent the days hiking but the home would have been perfect for relaxing on the property. We ate in Port Angeles both evening and it is a close drive into town.
