I never stop shooting shots from the deck as the mountains always change and give me a different light show.

About James - Sedona Vacation Rentals LLC
I have owned a video production company since 1972. We have produced many ongoing TV shows that you may have seen. Many of our productions are with corporations and this takes me away many times a year. My wife is a mail carrier and we both plan on retiring here at this home. We love it here and are happy to share it while we are not there. We have listed this home on VRBO among a few others- The Forest View home is by far the most popular and most requested home we have. We have been blessed to have such good people staying in our home. Many repeat their visits here every year. My father owned hotels in San Diego and in Phoenix and i grew up watching his process with his hotels. He took pride in happy customers and that has trickled down to Laurie and me. We do our best to be available all hours of the day to insure that your stay is the best and without any hiccups. You will soon be one of of the many friends who stay at this home and we welcome you to SEDONA. James

Great Home, Great location, Wonderful views. Enjoyed our Stay
We stayed for 30 nights and enjoyed every minute. The home James provides is comfortable with lots of space. The views are terrific. The location is perfect for getting around to shops, trail heads and all Sedona area has to offer with ease yet the place is private , quiet and away from the action. James was on top of a minor repair issue that was needed and kept in touch with us to make sure we had what we needed. Thank you James. it was a wonderful stay.
Great home in a great town
We had a great time in Sedona. James was really accommodating. Hope to get back there soon.
Great place to stay
Great house. We enjoyed our stay. In a nutshell, the house was clean, well appointed, comfortable, spacious, and the stuff in it worked.
More specifically, the bedrooms were comfortable, and there was plenty of space to unpack (empty drawers and closets with hangers). Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, which is nice. Note that the only stand up shower is in the master bedroom. The second bedroom has a clawfoot tub with a flexible handheld shower attachment. The house was adequately stocked with daily use items like dishes, pots, pans, paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, laundry detergent, bath towels, etc. Cleaning materials like brooms and vacuums were accessible if needed. The kitchen is spacious, and the stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher worked fine (didn't use the oven). The gas fireplace worked, although it is a little more manual than others I have encountered. I had to light the pilot, and you have to turn it on and off with a knob that is inside the fireplace. We used the hot tub a few times without issue (maybe a little heavy on the chlorine). Sized for 4 people max. The wifi worked throughout the house, but was not super fast, as noted by the property owner. We didn't use the TVs or other electronics much. The house has cable, but the TVs are on the small side by today's standards. Better off looking out the windows or going outside anyway. Thermostats were easy to understand and adjust.
The house has great views and is in an excellent location for driving into and out of downtown Sedona. It's close enough to walk, but the walk from the house to the main road is steep, curvy, and there are no sidewalks. I wouldn't walk it at night, and would hesitate to do it even during the day. Never tried it, nor did I see anyone walking on it. We never drove more than 25 minutes (usually less) to get anywhere we wanted to go. You can be shopping in Sedona within 5 minutes from the house. The density of hiking trails, shopping, and restaurants in the area is remarkable, yet it never seemed particularly crowded during our stay. A couple of Red Rock passes that allow parking access to many of the local hiking trails without additional payment were conveniently provided with the house.
This was a good place for 2-4 people (6 with some compromises). I'd stay here again, and would recommend it to others. The owner was responsive, and seems to care about the house, the "vibe" it gives off, and the overall experience for the guests.
Thank you Jason for your very detailed review.
Laurie and I want to make the experiences of the people that stay there, to be the best it can be, so we take all suggestions very serious.
Thank you for you nice review and- A big thank you for leaving the home in almost rentable condition. everything looked great.

There is a propane grill that is in the back. The Propane may or may not be full. We have no way to know. If you want to use the grill you may have to go get propane at Ace Hardware or Circle K down the hill.
