This a privately owned home in Surf City, NC conveniently located only .4 of a mile from the Surf City pier. We are far enough away from the main pier area to avoid the crowded beach and the noise but close enough to walk to restaurants, the local grocery store and shopping. It's the perfect setting for family vacations, relaxing getaways, or enjoyable reunions with friends.

The house is beautifully decorated in an elegant but comfortable style that is inviting and warm and is well appointed with all of the amenities needed for a stress-free vacation.

The beach house has a reverse floor plan with the kitchen and living/dining room located on the top floor providing panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and a fantastic view of the pier from two sides. The open concept design provides plenty of space for sharing time with family & friends.

The living/dining room feature vaulted ceilings, a sectional couch featuring a new pull-out queen mattress for additional sleeping capacity, and a 48' flat screen TV. The top floor also has 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a newly renovated bathroom. The bedroom ad bathroom area can be closed off from the kitchen and living room to create a private suite. The upstairs bathroom has been completely renovated with gorgeous tile, a no step-in shower with grab bars and a fold down teak seat, making it extremely handicap friendly! There is also a covered deck off the living room which is great place to enjoy your morning coffee, read a book, or watch the dolphins swim by.

The lower level features 3 bedrooms (including the master), 2 bathrooms and a washer and dryer. The master bedroom includes a king-sized bed with an ocean view, 46' flat-screen television, and an en-suite bathroom. From the master bedroom you can step onto the lower deck that has comfortable seating and provides direct access to the beach.

There are 2 additional bedrooms on the lower level. One features a queen-sized bed, while the other has two single beds. Each bedroom features a 32' flat-screen television with cable access. There is also a full bathroom for these bedrooms to share.

There is a full size washer & dryer available on the lower floor. Guests are required to provide their own linens and towels during their stay.

In addition, the beach home features an exterior shower with hot and cold water (convenient when returning from the beach). You will also find a gas grill for your use in the carport area.

A private elevator located in the carport allows for easy movement of items (groceries, bags, etc.) into and out of the beach house. It also provides easy access for people that have difficulty with stairs since it stops at all levels of the house. WiFi is available through out the house.

There is plenty of parking available. The concrete driveway is 75' long x 21' wide and will easily accommodate up to 7 vehicles including boats and trailers as needed. There is also one covered parking space under the building.

It is a standalone house and while it shares a common entry way with the home next door, there are no shared walls. The decks also have privacy barriers so you can enjoy the outside space.

We recently bought this property (formerly Gator Shores), because we loved the area and the beaches but we also loved the subtle elegance of a beach house with an upscale feel to it. After surviving a record year of snow in Boston in 2015, we decided to live here in the off season and re-named the house "No Mo Sno".

Our primary goal is offering a relaxing, comfortable environment to our guests at a good value while exceeding your expectations for a vacation home. Your satisfaction is very important to us and we encourage your feedback. We are interested in finding guests who will appreciate and take care of our home while they enjoy their time at this terrific beach. We will always give repeat customers first preference in reserving future rental dates because we are interested in a long-term relationship with our guests.

When we first walked into this house we could feel the stress leaving us, we hope that you will have that same experience.

The beach home is located within easy walking distance of the IGA grocery store, shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. Priceless View and

What a fabulous property!! All pictures and descriptions were right on point. The elevator and handicapped bathroom were a huge bonus with our multi-generational family. This was our first time renting thru VRBO and it won't be our last. The view from the front to porch is AMAZING. The owners did a fabulous job of leaving up to date information and recommendations for the surrounding area, that really came in handy. Thank you so much to Mike and Tammy for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home away from home.

No Mo Sno = Lots Mo Fun!

We loved everything about this house and our vacation. House was clean and comfortable for our family of 4 and my brother's family of 3. Views from the main floor deck made that our favorite lunch and after beach spot. Location was perfect for walking to the pier for our fishermen. They also fished right off the beach which was great too. Waves were perfect for boogie boarding and for our little surfers. Shark tooth hunting was an added treat. We wished we were staying longer.

Fabulous beach house!!

What a beautiful beach house!! What a beautiful view! We so enjoyed being so close to the beach. The house is decorated very nice, the kitchen is well stocked with all necessities. The elevator is a god send as we travel with my 82 year old Mom. We had a fabulous time! The owners checked in with us during the week to make sure that everything was going well. We have already talked about our next stay at this property.

A gem in Surf City, NC

We had a great time at Mike and Tammy's beach house in Surf City. The house was super clean. This is not your typical beach house with subpar furnishings, Mike and Tammy have done a fantastic job of furnishing the house with high quality furniture and a fully stocked kitchen. We can't wait to go back.

Perfect Beach Home

No-Mo-Sno is my favorite place to stay on Topsail Island. The location is perfect, close to the pier but far enough away to not be bother by noise and too many people. This section of South Shore is very nice. You are on the beach but not bothered by a lot of traffic because the main road is a block away.

I feel right at home here. This house has everything you need for the perfect beach vacation. If you like to cook, you will find almost every pot, pan and appliance that you will need. The furnishings are all very comfortable and make it OK to have to stay inside during a rainy day. After a busy day at the beach or a trip into Wilmington, you will find it easy to sleep on any of the comfortable beds.

In the unlikely event that you have a problem, Mike and Tammy are quick to help you find a solution or get the problem resolved.

We especially appreciated the elevator. It made our vacation much more enjoyable since we had people in our group who have difficulty with steps.

I'm already looking forward to my next trip to No-Mo-Sno!

Perfect Location, Layout, and Amenities

I stayed again at Mike and Tammy's No Mo Sno. Its been a couple years, and the owners have continued to update an already amazing property. There is nothing more to say than I already stated before so I am posting it again. This property and owners are truly the best!

We couldn't have been happier with our time spent at this wonderfully appointed home. This house is a perfect layout for multiple couples and in a great location on the island. We enjoyed the fact that the main living space was on the upper level, which allowed for amazing views of the island and the fishing pier the home is in close proximity to. The upstairs has a bathroom and bedroom that can be closed off and turned into a second master suite which would be ideal for traveling couples. Mike and Tammy took great care in the choices they made with their home and it showed. From the Weber grill, to the higher end TV's, mattresses, and even pillows they made sure that our time spent was comfortable and enjoyable. In the outside shower area, there was a bunch of beach chairs, sand toys, and sports equipment to take advantage of which was wonderful considering the beach is merely a few steps aways. We also enjoyed the fact that the home had an elevator available which stopped in bedrooms on both floors and the carport area, which made unloading a weeks worth of items and groceries a breeze. It was also nice to have the necessary items there upon arrival including soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent ... it seems like such a simple thing but these items aren't always there at rental properties. One of the best features of this home was its location. It was wonderful to be just a 5 minute walk to restaurants, grocery store, shops, the pier, wine shop, bakery, ice cream, and outdoor gear rental. I've stayed elsewhere on the island and had to get in my car to do anything which wasn't nearly as enjoyable as taking an evening walk to do the same thing. Mike and Tammy were truly thoughtful on everything they've done and provided. We look forward to seeing you next year!!!
