At grade garage area with raised washer and dryer.

2nd floor: Upstairs has individual room air conditioners. 2 bedrooms with 2 twins, 2 bedrooms queen. 2nd floor full bath with shower.

Exterior: Large deck at 1st floor level with outside shower and gas grill. Driveway parks 2 cars. Street parking for 4 cars.

About The Owner

The house has been in our family since it was built in 1955. It first belonged to our grandparents, then our Mom and Dad. Dad passed away in July 2012, and Sandy hit in October. Now, brother and sister, Rick and Linda own the house we loved spending summers at.

Why The Owner chose Long Beach Island

Outside of people letting steam off, this is a quiet residential area. Since Sandy, some ownership has changed, but there are still plenty of people that have lived on the street for decades.

What makes this house unique

West Avenue is just down the street - great for biking, inline skating, and walking. There are playgrounds both north and south of the house, about 8-10 blocks.

Beautiful place and great location

Great experience at this house and there was plenty of space for a large group. The kitchen and backyard were especially nice. Proximity to beach, bay, lots of stores and activities. Agree with another review that the upstairs bathroom has mediocre water pressure and is dated in appearance, but this didn't bother me. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful property, close to beach.

Had a fantastic 3 day stay at this house, with two families and kids aged 2-11. The house is perfectly laid out for two families, with two separate wings, with two separate living rooms, and one great big communal dining area. Outdoor shower, a garage full of bikes and boogie boards, and plenty of games and puzzles in the house. It's less than 5 minutes to walk to the beach, and 2 minutes to the bay. Location is great, south of town, so it's nice and quiet at night. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The family had loads of fun!

This is our 3rd consecutive year at LBI and itt was the best so far!

Great space, great location, so convenient. My family are big cyclists. We only used the car like twice during our week stay. Mostly rode our bikes or walked to the stores/restaurants/ice cream. Also, there is a big park nearby (with pickle ball courts) and I just walked my stand-up boards to the end of the street and dropped them into the bay. My kid and her cousins had a lot of fun at the overpriced (hey, it's vacation) Fantasy Island! The rooms were great, big, and clean. We paid to have sheets provided and that was a lovely treat not to worry about that. I loved the access of the garage to store all our beach and outdoor gear.

Most importantly, what I loved about this house was that it felt like home. Even picked some fresh cherry tomatoes and spices from the plants in the back for our meals!

The water pressure for bath/shower is a little low. I didn't mind but my in laws did. It's not bad but it's not great. Maybe the shower heads are the problem? However, my only personal recommendation is that the pale yellow upstairs bathroom with yellow shower be updated soon. Wooden toilet seat and pale yellow color theme going on wasn't too inviting. Hopefully that and some maintenance items (like the sliders) will be addressed during the off season to be enjoyed again next year!

Perfect family spot

We had a wonderful stay in Beach Haven. A perfect house for several families to enjoy. There was so much space for everyone. Everything was extremely clean. Great location to the beach, food, and activities in Beach Haven. The owner was wonderful to work with and so very helpful with all our needs. We will definitely be back.

We love place. it reminds us of the shore homes we stayed in as kids. Perfect for the beach.
