Very, very nice. Great staff at the desk, very helpful with any questions. Beautiful view. Would definitely rent from him again.
Nice Unit -Needs Attention
The condo was nice, clean but needs updating. It was advertised to have fine linens but they were marginal at best. There was one full roll of toilet paper in the front bath and only a half roll in the Master, certainly not stocked to accommodate 5 people. The kitchen furnishings, i.e., dishes, pots, pans, glasses, etc. were ample but not organized. The unit needed some oversight and to be better managed.
There was one "major" problem and that was with the elevators. When we arrived one elevator was out of service and had been for several days according to others staying there. The second elevator went out mid-afternoon and was out of service overnight until Noon the following day. The only way up or down was to walk. We were lucky we were already in the 14th floor condo and had food for meals No notices were posted by the building management!
The building management was not helpful at all and could provide little information. I called the owner and he was unaware of the situation and immediately called the management company. Unfortunate situation.
We departed one day early for fear the elevator would again go out. The elevator that was out of service before we arrived was still not working when we let. For the entire tower, only one elevator in service. Not a good thing and a safety issue for sure.
beautiful condo complex
Best property on the Texas gulf coast
I have stayed in rentals up and down the gulf coast of Texas and this property without doubt is the best beach front facility I have stayed at. There isn't much inventory along the coast that is well maintained and most all of those facilities are tired and in desperate need of remodeling. There may be a nice unit here and there but the common areas of those facilities are long overdue a "face lift". Property is well maintained and clean throughout all of the common areas. Game room is clean and kept well maintained. Exercise room is probably the best I have seen for a hotel or condo association. Pool area and hot tub are really beautiful areas and there is quick easy access to the beach. 1408 has a modern decor with excellent finishes, view is excellent, easy access, and only a handful of units per floor. Owner was easy to work with and very responsive. This unit will definitely be a repeat stay for us in the future.

Family vacation to SPI. If you are looking at this property you knwo the amenities that the Sapphire/Pearl have. Beach access, great pools, and easy access to many things on the island. Everything went just as expected and we couldn't be happier. We would happily consider staying there again or recommending to a friend. Do yourself a favor and enjoy the views and style of this place.

We loved it. Plenty of room and close to the beach. We loved the pool. Everything was clean when we got there. Fun fun vacation. We ask for this condo again.

Guests must comply with all Sapphire property rules and regulations. Copies of rule book available at Sapphire front desk and upon request. Check-in between 3pm and 10pm on arrival date. Check-out before 11am on departure date. The Sapphire charges all guests a $15.00 a day resort fee. Our published rates include this resort fee so you will not be required to make any additional payments upon arrival! Check when comparing against other Sapphire listings as most do not include this fee! Our condo is a non smoking condo.
