Super family friendly

  • 5 of 5

Roomy house with all the comforts of home. 2 blocks from the beach -- an easy walk. The Port A Beach Lodge, on the way to the beach, was our go-to breakfast place. The community pool was often crowded and a bit cloudy so we didn't spend much time there. Kids loved the widow's walk -- great star gazing. Would stay here again.

Wonderful home with plenty of room for my family!

  • 5 of 5

My family loved this home and it's proximity to the beach as well as town. This was my favorite place to stay so far in Port Aransas. Had everything we needed and we loved sitting out in the evenings on the deck. Highly recommend this rental.

This house is beautiful, large, and convenient to the beach.

  • 5 of 5

Each of the bedrooms in this house was very nice. The kitchen was lovely as were the balconies. The short walk to the beach was very do-able with a family and a dog. I would say 3 minutes or so to walk to the beach. There is even a little restaurant down at the end of the road to grab a beer if you want - the restaurant has a separate porch where you can sit with your dog. This house if conveniently located close to all the restaurants and touristy places in town too - everything in town was less than a 10 min drive. I highly recommend this house and will book it next time we head down to port A.

Everything we hoped for!

  • 5 of 5

We just left after a 30 day stay at this beach home. We were very pleased with the house and neighborhood. Close to the beach and pool. Port Aransas is a great place to stay. My kids and grandkids joined us for a week and had a great time. They didn't want to leave. We had everything we needed. They loved the Xbox. My husband went on 2 different fishing charters using Dolphin Dock. First day they did great second trip was slower. But we did have fresh fish for supper. Took the jetty boat to St. Joe's Island because we heard the shelling was better. Didn't find many but watched the dolphins and fishermen so it was an enjoyable trip. Was able to get fresh off the boat shrimp from the Peggy Ann and Polly Anna at the docks in Roberts Park. Reasonable and very good! Hope to return next year! Thanks again for sharing your home!

Fabulous family vacation spot

  • 5 of 5

Ten family members gathered for the 4th of July. We had plenty of room to enjoy each other's company and to have alone time. Grandparents stayed in the downstairs suite. One couple stayed in the upstairs master and another in the main floor bedroom with adjoining bath. Children stayed in another bedroom and on the pull down bed in the living area which has a half-bath. Everyone was very pleased. Decks abound for time to soak up the coastal air, read a book, or have an intimate conversation. Children enjoyed the widow's walk at the top of the house where they watched fireworks in the distance. The kitchen was large and well equipped and there was a grill in the back with a picnic table where fajitas, hamburgers, etc. were cooked in the shade while the guys visited. The beach is a walk away with a boardwalk, and there is a community pool which is small but functional. I highly recommend this lovely property.
