The exquisitely decorated primary bedroom offers a king-size bed with a private bathroom. The private bathroom features a walk-in shower. The second bedroom offers a cozy queen-size bed. The property was perfect for our vacation. It allowed us to bring our furry family members, and was accommodating for all others ages 10 months to 79. It was comfortable, clean, and nicely equipped with everything we needed. The host was great, and took communicated with us extremely expeditiously. We had a great time at the beach and enjoyed the pool in the enclosed yard. Would definitely recommend this property.

House is spacious and rooms are basic but we didn’t spend a lot of time in them. Pool and yard area is smaller than what the pictures seem to show. For anyone with pets the yard portion doesn’t connect the to deck FYI. If you’re doing any kind of cooking ma consider bringing what what you to cook with, limited (i.e knives).

On arrival, we were surprised that we couldn’t figure out how to use the master shower. You have to pull the handle which we didn’t do. There was ONE towel and ONE wash cloth per guest! We had to buy extras which is ridiculous. The kitchen, was well stocked with needed things but completely disorganized. There were pans & dishes all over. The beds were not comfortable & had mattress toppers to hide their wear. The ice maker didn’t work. Other than those issues, the house seemed clean & it was comfortable for our family trip. It felt like a home owned by a business & not an individual.

Very nice!

Just as advertised! Lots of space, comfortable, cute. Kitchen well stocked. Great location, private boardwalk to beach for the block residents, several nice outdoor seating areas on the property so you can spread out. Bring your own beach chairs and toys, etc. Pool with fenced in yard was lovely.

Nice place close to Sandfest

Spacious and comfortable home. Walking distance to beach (and Sandfest entrance). Nice outdoor space. Our only issue was that the floors were not cleaned well. The pool is smaller than it seems in the pictures, but its perfect for kids to jump around in and to just relax and cool off.

Great stay

Only issue is the pots and pans are very old. Not good for cooking. We bought a new frying pan just to cook. Otherwise a great family vacation and house.

Golf cart

It was a little misleading with “free golf cart”. We stayed for a month. Golf cart is not included in long term rental. This could be more clearly outlined. Great vacation rental. Would definitely rent again.

One main concern was nail heads sticking up on the upper porch and stairway. Stumbled several times on them and almost fell.

Great house close to the beach with a pool, pet friendly

This is a wonderful property. It is walking distance to the beach by street or boardwalk. It is renovated with no carpet, new appliances, comfortable beds, good A/C and ceiling fans. One bathroom has a 2 person shower with 2 heads and a sitting bench. The other is a standard bathroom. One king bedroom, a queen bedroom and a 4 bunk room. TV in every room but we couldnt get some of them to provide channels. The pool is small and refreshing, small fenced yard area for the dogs at the pool. A covered balcony on the front that catches the breeze off the gulf.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was very clean, and everyone loved the pool. The beach is only a block around one corner and a convienece store around the other, that was nice. Plenty of parking, but good we didn't bring the boat. Really wish a golf cart came with was 150/day to rent...but worth every penny!! The only suggestion would be, in order to keep the home cleaner it would've been nice to have basic house cleaning supplies (soap/dish towels), and a vacuum for pool would have been nice. The garbage disposal, vacuuum cleaner and the dryer were all not working properly...but grandpa enjoyed fixing them. :)

Spacious, clean, breathtaking when you first enter! Grass needed cutting so mosquitos worse. Called it in Sept. 16, was told their lawn service was not available. The pool was just the right size for the 5 of us. No shade available. Be sure to bring umbrellas. The kart was jarringly in need of service; wish we could have had a 6 seater. The dishes didn't feel clean; had to rewash pots and pans. The ice maker was still not working after other guests mentioned it in their reviews weeks ago. There is a major safety hazard as you enter the pool area with a step up on the left. Not marked or painted. Four of the 5 of us tripped on it, but my husband tripped and fell hard onto his chest, spraining his wrist, requiring urgent care, x-rays, and meds., and having to take 2 days off work! Hopefully they will fix it before the next guest gets really hurt!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay in Port Aransas and the house itself is great. There are some things that could be better at the price point. When we arrived the master bath toilet was stopped up. Maintenance was quick to respond and we thought they had the problem fixed. The problem however was not fixed and we dealt with it for another day. We had trouble getting the master bath shower to work. Lets say this, pull the handle out to turn the water on. Even the maintenance guy had trouble figuring it out. 50/50 issue there, I'll own some of it for being stupid. Quite a bit of traffic on the road next to the house, so it was loud. The house isn't well insulated so lots of noise gets through. We had the neighbors talking until 2AM. You could hear everything they were saying. As stated, its a nice house and everything appears to be new. We would try another property next time. Oh and don't bother with the golf cart, its junk. Pay more and rent a good one. There are plenty available.

outstanding place to vacation, a short distance to the Beach and downtown. the house was comfortable, and the pool was great. everything in the house was easy to use. We plan on using silver sands in the future for vacationing I really enjoy the quality of their proprieties.

House was great - the beds were even comfortable! (Rare for an AirBNB house!) We were bummed we had bad weather the whole weekend, so didn't get to use the pool much. The area downstairs was great - we do wish there were lights so hanging out at night wasn't in total darkness but it was still a great time. The pool area was nice to hang out in for the little bit of time we could.

Shamrock by the sea review

We had an issue with ants throughout the kitchen area and living room couch. Also not enough shower towels. The gated area of the yard has a lot of stickers. So we had to make sure kids stayed out of the grass areas. Other than that the house was comfortable, roomy, and we enjoyed our stay.

Disappointed

I read recent reviews about issues at this house which prompted me to email Silver Sands before we went. I was told all issues were handled. However, sadly, this was NOT true. Our food was ruined by ants throughout the kitchen. When asking several times, someone came by and dropped off a can of bug spray. The golf cart was not drivable. The brakes and steering was non functioning. The stickers in the grass and the concrete was awful for our grandkids as was for all the adults. I took pictures, emailed and texted at least 6 times. They always responded, but never rectified any of the issues. It wasn’t until the last email I sent telling them a refund would be appreciated, they stopped responding. What a shame. Family vacation was a bust. Wether or not you ask them if these issues were resolved, they won’t tell you the truth.
