Large patio and 'DogTrot'. Perfect for family reunions, weddings or just a relaxing week, month or summer away from it all. This is our home but we live out of state for work making this great place available.

Weddings have a $500 'Property Fee'.

Excellent winter holiday trip with the family! We arrived from the Twin Cities in under 3 hours and really enjoyed the scenic trip through the Lake Mille Lacs area. The house was beautiful with so many sections we felt like it was three homes in one, plenty of space to spread out and big enough kitchen and main living area to all come together. The host gave us all the details and communication we needed to make sure our stay was top notch. Fully stocked kitchens with all the essential dishes, pots and pans, utensils and more made it our home away from home- we plan to return and we highly recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing experience!

Plenty of parking, kitchens were amazing and had everything we could’ve needed, modern appliances. Plenty of beds, all were clean, made, comfy. Clay and Angi were very responsive and fast to answer if we had any questions

All I have to say is WOW Clay is so easy to reach out to and have a conversation with. His property is stunning clean, and in a great area with plenty of things to do on the property or off the property. Very thankful for the stay. Will be planning to stay here again for future golf trips!!!

This property went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. Our family spent a long weekend here and celebrated our wedding on the most beautiful Saturday afternoon. Surrounded by our closest family and friends, we had a lakeside ceremony, dinner on the patio, and dancing in the dogtrot. The evening was capped by a warm fire in the dogtrot and a rainbow over the house – it felt like something out of a dream!Our families and friends couldn’t stop raving about the home – inside and out, it’s clean, spacious, and very welcoming. There are so many amazing, comfy spots to hangout. One of our favorite moments was being greeted by a family of deer as we pulled in our first day. Each morning, they’d wander through while we sipped coffee and soaked in the view. We also saw eagles, loons and friendly chipmunks. The mix of comfort, nature, and beauty here is unmatched.From the very beginning, Clay and Angi were wonderful to work with. Their communication was thoughtful and detailed, which made everything run so smoothly. This wasn’t just a weekend getaway. It became the backdrop for one of the most meaningful moments of our lives. We are excited to comeback to celebrate our anniversaries for years to come!

Amazing Wedding Weekend on Ox Lake

This residence was a great place to stay with friends and family. Clay was very helpful and accommodating with us having our small wedding (30 people) here. It was the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding. Everything about the house was clean and taken care of. Just remember to bring your own pool cues!

Cross lake getaway

Spectacular home located in Cross lake on the water with Bald Eagles flying overhead. Scenic ,quiet ,close to town. Perfect home for a family or big group. Exceeded our expectations!

Family Getaway

Beautiful property

Beautiful lakeshore property with great views of the lake from many of the rooms and bedrooms. Our family of 14 people had plenty of space to spread out. Two primary suites, bunk room for the grandkids and 3 other bedrooms provided each couple some private space and quiet sleeping. Kitchen well appointed with amazing prep and serving countertops. Lower level hangout space large enough for our group. Only tricky thing was locking/ unlocking the entry doors— had to adjust handle while locking. Enjoyed spacious parking and great curb appeal.Enjoyed the lakeside yard and the hill down to the lake. Outdoor fire pit and hot tub on the listing were not working although that did not affect our plans. .

Beautiful Home

A beautiful home in a lovely location full of wonderful amenities. We really enjoyed time both inside and outside the house. Evening fires on the dogtrot were our favorite. Clay and Angi were great hosts and easy to communicate with. They made us feel right at home! The beds were super comfy, and there was room enough for everyone without feeling like we were on top of each other. We would love to come back again, as the value for a stay of this caliber was excellent!

Company Trip

We stayed at the house for our annual company outing. Clay was amazing to work with from the very beginning. He was very informative and helpful with different things to do in the area. He was very responsive in answering any questions we had. He treated us like family. We had a group of 10 people and there was plenty of space for everyone. Most of the bedrooms are on one side of the house. The weather was great and we enjoyed being able to sit outside under the shelter. The house is beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. There was ample space for all of our food and drinks. They had all the utensils we needed for cooking. They have thought of everything in this house. If you have mobility issues going outside to the lake might be a little difficult, the backyard is steep. A couple days before the trip Clay sends out an email that lists all of the house rules and what to bring and expect. There are things in there such as bringing your own toilet paper etc, but they also explain why they have those rules in place. They are straight forward with what they expect. The rules are common sense. It explained how to operate the equipment and different things in the house. The manifesto was helpful with all the questions we had throughout our stay so we didn't have to bother Clay with the mundane questions. The neighbors are friendly and are right there if there are any questions or concerns about anything.

Excellent for families!!!!

Our family with teenage children absolutely LOVED our stay here. The home is beautiful with great views. The home had everything we needed for kitchen utensils and appliances. The lake was perfect and the kids caught a lot of fish. Grocery stores were close and other convenient restaurants nearby. The owner is very thorough and responds quickly if there were any questions. Our kids asked to return to this property. Highly highly recommend.

Perfect Family Christmas!

We loved our stay here so much. The home has such a unique layout that worked so well for multiple families. Spaces to be all together, but spaces for people to be on their own if they wanted. The kids had an absolute blast running around using their new walkie talkies :) such a gorgeous property- we hope to be back next year! Thank you!!

Calculate what it would cost you for more than one family to stay at an area resort and see how it compares to having the privacy and intimacy of your own house for the duration of your stay.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

6 1/2 Acres. 'Dogtrot' or breezeway with fireplace. 178' of Private Lake Shore and beachfront. This is a private lake. Serene. Typically not very busy. You will be right across the road from the Whitefish Chain of Lakes so if you want more action you can have it within minutes. We have our own landing capable of handling jet ski or small aluminum fishing boats. For larger vessels you can put in numerous places on the Whitefish Chain or rent a boat or pontoon through us. While this is a private home on a private lake with a private dock and lift...there is the practical matter of the dock having to be installed in the Spring and removed in the Fall. This is dependent on the weather, weather forecast and schedule of the installer.
