Flat with 3 beds (1 Double, 1 Single, 1 Double Sofabed) 2 Bathrooms. Navona Area
You will find yourself in one of the most beautiful old “palazzo” of the historic centre of Rome, a short walking distance from Piazza Navona and from the most important city monuments.
This particularly favourable position makes it an ideal location for anyone who wants to visit Rome without tiring himself.
The door of the “palazzo” is huge in antique massive wood with studs and above coat of arms. The entrance hall where time ago the horses and the carriage went through conduct to a beautiful and elegant courtyard (15th century) with its characteristic double lodge supported by antiques granite columns with carved capitals.
Close to an antique fountain and a generous in fruits and fragrant flowers orange tree, stand the iron gate to access at the apartment.
The apartment, on two levels, is very quiet and light, and has recently been restructured and furnished elegantly with antique furniture which has been in my family for generations. Inside is made up of a good sized living room with a divan/bed, a completely furnished kitchen, and a bathroom with shower. On the upper floor there is a double bed with an additional single bed, and a bathroom (with some steps) with tub and shower. It comes with Air Conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, Dishwasher, Washing Machine and Iron.
The neighbourhood also offers a range of fashionable shops and characteristic eating places, (trattorias, pizzerias, wine bars….) where typical Roman cuisine can be enjoyed so that visitors will really feel part of the atmosphere of old Rome.
Restaurants, trattorie and pizzerie, supermarkets, groceries & bakeries are just around the corner and a fascinating open air fresh food market is held every morning in the medieval Campo de’Fiori square a few steps away from the apt. Nearby there are also, pharmacies, art galleries, antique shops, book-stores, phone centres, banks with ATM machines, travel agencies, post offices and tourist information points.
The apartment is well connected to all areas of Rome by public transportation (bus stops and taxi stands are easily accessible). The bus stop is near the corner of the building with direct links to Termini railway station, San Pietro, Coliseum, Campidoglio, Quirinale and so on..

Hello, My name is Andrea. I am the owner of the Flat. I live in Rome and I have a family with 2 children. I love to share my knowledge of the area and its wonderful archaeological sites and restaurants. I strive to make every guest's stay comfortable and memorable.
Andrea purchased this Apartment in 2014
Why Andrea chose Rione VI Parione
I really like the area. This is the only place where you can really feel the atmosphere of ancient Rome civilization, the beauty of the monuments, squares, fountains and palaces. The neighborhood also offers a range of fashionable shops and characteristic eating places, (trattorie, pizzerie, wine bars….) where typical Roman cuisine can be enjoyed. Nearby there are also pharmacies, art galleries, antique shops, book-stores, phone centres, banks with ATM machines, travel agencies, post offices, tourist information points. Supermarkets, groceries & bakeries are just around the corner and a fascinating open air fresh food market is held every morning in the medieval Campo de’Fiori square a few steps away from the apartment. The apartment is also well connected to all areas of Rome by public transportation (bus stops and taxi stands are easily accessible). The bus stop is near the corner of the building with direct links to Termini railway station, San Pietro, Coliseum, Campidoglio, Quirinale and so on..
What makes this Apartment unique
The peace and quietness - even though you are in the middle of the oldest part of Rome. Everything is within walking distance - no need for a car and you can explore the beauty of the city mostly on foot. Within walking distance, there are many historical monuments such as Piazza Navona, St. Peter's Basilica, the Pantheon, the Coliseum with the Imperial Forum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. In addition, a few steps you can lose yourself in the narrow streets of Trastevere or there may be fascinated by the open-air market in Campo dei Fiori. You can also enjoy shopping in many boutique or spend pleasant evenings in the many restaurants or pubs in the historic center.

A wonderful and truly charming apartment.
My daughter and I spent a week in this charming apartment. It’s in a great location central to everything. The neighborhood offered everything thing you could want, great restaurants, grocery stores and the best gelato in town! The flat was nicely appointed and decorated. We were very comfortable there. Andrea was a wonderful host. His hospitality was a big part of making our stay so enjoyable. He’s thought of everything down to the smallest detail. He has put together a binder of information including local restaurants, transportation, contact phone numbers etc. We referred to it often. We would certainly stay at the charming flat again and recommend it to our family and friends.
We loved this unique apartment in an historic building in a wonderful location.
Charming, convenient and well stocked
Andrea has thought of everything for this flat, umbrellas, iron, small soaps, coffee, converters it made traveling so much easier! He is very accommodating and helpful too. We had a small hiccup (my fault) that I only put down 2 guests and we had 5. Andrea was gracious in taking care of it. This flat is perfectly located. It’s a few minute walk from the Vatican and incredibly easy to walk to all of major sites. The flat was incredibly clean too. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends.
Everything is as advertised and more. Andrea is a great host and the location and quiet a major plus
The flat is well appointed, the beds are excellent and the flat is amazingly quiet given that you are in the heart of the city. Andrea was wonderful from booking to departure. He arranged pick up at the airport and for the return at the end, assisted with arranging for delivery of a delayed bag from the airlines and left no doubt that he would be happy to do more. We will certainly book again when we return to Rome.
Location, location, location!
We visited in March with our 9-year-old son and could not have been happier with this apartment. Andrea has obviously put a lot of care and thought into providing a lovely oasis in the heart of Rome. His apartment is spotless, beautifully decorated, and very well appointed. We can't say enough about the location, which was on a small street very close to Piazza Navona and all kinds of amazing shops and restaurants. (Don't miss gelato at Frigidarium, just around the corner.) We appreciated all the space in the ground-level bathroom and the cool, creative layout of the upper-level bathroom. Andrea was a fantastic host, friendly, helpful, and accessible. We highly recommend having him book your transfer to the airport if needed; he did that for us and it made our departure seamless and hassle-free. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We very much hope to be back soon. Thank you, Andrea!
Wonderful location, amazing historical building, close to everything
The flat was amazing in that it feels like you are just an Italian as you come and go with a key. There are a lot of locks in the building for safety. It was so close to everything. Andrea was very helpful in telling us where things were and gave us great recommendations. There was a lot of amazing food and Gelato nearby. There was also a bank for exchanging money and a local pantry if you wanted to cook. So location was great!
For US standards, I will say that the comfort of the beds, chairs, and sofa are not the most comfortable, more towards the firm and the linens are average as well. We actually found the sofabed more comfortable then the bed. However, we would still return, just letting others know. It was clean and they do have a second bathroom, which was very cool as it was on 4 levels.
This flat is on a side street so no cars, it is very quiet at night and the day, which I found helpful for sleeping as overall it is very active in Rome and in the area. Very walkable to everything. FYI-The TV has many news channels but not a lot of others, but that was not why we went to Italy. Andrea was on time to greet us and to say goodbye so it was not difficult at all, which I was worried about since we were catching the train. Andrea did offer us a car from the airport, which we arranged, however, I would suggest just taking a taxi as it really made it more diffiuclt to find him and then we had to truck all of our luggage to where he was parked. I would have preferred to just hop in to a Taxi. Everything else was fabulous! Really felt more like an Italian than a visitor.
The apartment is well connected to all areas of Rome by public transportation (bus stops and taxi stands are easily accessible). The bus stop is near the corner of the building with direct links to Termini railway station, San Pietro, Coliseum, Campidoglio, Quirinale and so on.. The neighbourhood also offers a range of fashionable shops and characteristic eating places, (trattorias, pizzerias, wine bars….) where typical Roman cuisine can be enjoyed so that visitors will really feel part of the atmosphere of old Rome. Nearby there are pharmacies, art galleries, antique shops, bookstores, jewellers, phone centres, banks with ATM machines, travel agencies, post offices, tourist information points…..supermarkets, groceries & bakeries just around the corner and a fascinating open air fresh food market is held every morning in the medieval Campo de’Fiori square a few steps away from the apt.
