This is a completely renovated, individual modern-styled, luxurious country-house surrounded by a beautiful garden which is an 'oliveto'. It is built on 2 levels and it’s close to Pietrasanta and Forte dei Marmi. The house consists of 1 living-room with contemporary leather-upholstered furniture, a dining-room for 12 persons, a completely new fully equipped kitchen, a sun-terrace with outside furniture for using meals (10 persons). There are 4 double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms (3 with shower and 1 with bath, all have toilet and wash-basin). The private mosaic swimming-pool of 12 x 5 m is backed up with 4 beach-chairs and garden chairs, also a pool-house with shower and toilet. The domain is located just below the 13th century Rotaio palace in a private street with 10 villas on top of a hill with view over the Alpi Apuani, the garden is 5000 sq. m. of olive trees devised in terraces on different levels, it is very quiet and ideal for immersing one's self in nature when staying at the house. At the same time you are close to the interesting art town of Pietrasanta, to the sea-side which is 5 km away and offers beautiful white-sand beaches (known as the region la Versilia), and to the famous holiday city of Forte dei Marmi with all of it's shopping, beaches and restaurants.

Incredible accommodation

Stunning!

The location and views at the villa are absolutely breathtaking! A bit tricky to find at first, but Narciso was super helpful. He recommended a few things and was happy to respond to any issues. Local restaurant La Dogana is a gourmet experience. The nearby town of Pietrasanta was brilliant and vibrant, and an easy train trip to Florence.

We recently enjoyed a 6 night stay here as a family of 4 generations. Absolutely stunning villa only a short drive from the gorgeous village of Pietrasanta which has a great selection of restaurants. The villa itself is a brief drive up a mountain which means it lends itself to the most gorgeous views, with only one thing to consider that in August just before 6pm, the sun is off the villa, which may be ideal for those seeking a bit of relief from the hot tuscan sun. The terrace was huge with plenty of seating at the large table and two comfortable sun loungers. It was very handy having the retractable awning too! The pool is a stunning design and we loved the fact it's a salt water pool. The outdoor shower and pool house with toilet was very convenient too! The garden is picturesque with stone walls, olive trees and citrus trees, truly a beautiful place. Be warned, you must bring plenty of mosquito repellent products and bite cream as due to the natural environment they are rife up there as to be expected. The interior was beautiful and kitchen well equipped, lounge area quite dark and dim as we didn't think blinds opened, but no bother as we spent a lot of time out and about. Bedrooms were all great sizes and handy having individual bathrooms, beds were large and comfortable although perhaps bigger or more pillows would be a good addition. Linen (I think) sheets were great too. Overall a fantastic stay, thank you very much.

Perfect Tuscany Getaway

We have just returned from a two week stay at the Villa which was wonderful. The Villa is situated on a hill about 10-15 mins drive north of Camaiore Di Lago, a really quiet and private space but close enough to get to the local villages and a bit of the night life if that is your thing. The pool was great and the villa really well equipped for large families or groups sharing. The local villages were within easy reach and the recommended restaurants wonderful. Loads of indoor and outdoor space, the terraces have loads of space to make indoor and outdoor seamless. The villa is looked after by a local man who is really helpful to show you around and make recommendations plus help out with organising the bins/rubbish collections. Electric gated, car absolutely necessary. Would really recommend.

We stayed here with our family of five adults June 2022. To start off with the positive features: the house is located in very quiet surroundings, apart from the odd alarm or chain saw. The view from the hill is very pretty. The swimming pool is of a good size, and surrounded by nice landscaping. It is a good starting point for day trips to surrounding villages and the sea. It is situated on a very steep hill and is reached by a narrow road with sharp hairpin bends. The interior of the house is very dated. Fake leather couch and chairs and plastic (PVC) table cloths on the tables. There was a coffee machine for filter coffee, so on the first day we went out to buy our own Nespresso machine. The refrigerator was at least 25 years old, and it hardly cooled. Outside the house was a second fridge of a more recent build where we kept all of our beverages. The glassware from the house were so old and worn that we bought our own as well. There were no coffee mugs, just cups and saucers. Not very practical for a cappuccino so we went out and bought our own nice coffee mugs. There was an iron and ironing board, but it sprouted more lime scale than steam. The dishwasher didn’t clean very well either. Tapwater was not for consumption so plenty of water bottles had to be bought. Not very eco-friendly. For people who think they can work remotely from this house it is good to know that Wifi is excruciatingly slow - if it is working at all. The caretaker of the house who takes care of the

Wir (zwei 4-köpfige Familien mit Kindern von 10-14 Jahren) haben tolle 10 Tage in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Das Haus liegt etwas erhöht, der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist einzigartig und wir haben die Natur und private Lage sehr genossen. Die meisten Restaurants sind nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen, was uns nicht gestört hat. Die sehr gut ausgestattete Küche bot alle Möglichkeiten, sich auch im Ferienhaus zu verköstigen (Holzkohlegrill, Gasherd). Der Poolbereich war ideal für unsere Kinder, auch die Wassertemperatur nicht zu kalt.Selbst eine Waschmaschine war vorhanden. Wir haben einige Ausflüge nach Pisa, Florenz, Lucca und natürlich an den Strand von Lido di Camaiore gemacht und alle Ziele waren vom Ferienhaus gut zu erreichen. Der Kontakt zu Narciso, dem Verwalter, war sehr nett und wir haben uns sehr gut betreut gefühlt. Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Ein grandioser Urlaub - Top-Bewertung

Die letzten beiden August-Wochen verbrachten wir in diesem Jahr in diesem wunderschönen Haus in der Toskana. Das Anwesen mit dem überaus ansprechenden Poolbereich sowie dem modernen Haus mit riesiger Terrasse hat uns absolut überzeugt. Die einzigartige Lage mit atemberaubendem Ausblick und einer wunderbar angenehmen Ruhe macht dieses Objekt zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Die Bilder und Beschreibung des Ferienobjektes entspricht absolut der Realität. Angenehme Ferien sind hier garantiert. Eine Privatzufahrt mit Zugangscode gewährt die Einfahrt in dieses idyllische Domizil. Im unteren Bereich befinden sich neben dem großen Eingangsbereich die 4 DZ (2 mit Doppel-, 2 mit Einzelbetten) mit jeweils eigenem Bad (3x Dusche, 1x Badewanne) und WC. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und bieten genügend Schränke und Schubladen für sämtliches Gepäck. Im OG befindet sich das Wohnzimmer mit Ledercouch und TV mit internationalem Programm, welches wir glücklicherweise kaum nutzten 😊 Der riesige Essbereich schließt sich direkt der offenen Küche an, die extrem gut und vielseitig ausgestattet ist. Das gesamte Haus ist äußerst angenehm individuell klimatisierbar. Über die gesamte Hauslänge erstreckt sich im OG eine riesige Terrasse und fantastischem Ausblick. Eine elektrische Markise macht den Aufenthalt hier angenehm. Direkt anschließend befindet sich eine kleine Außenküche mit Kohlegrill. In einem kleinem Räumchen wird der Müll getrennt und es befindet sich hier auch noch ein großer zusätzlicher Kühlschrank – ein echter Pluspunkt. Ein paar Stufen erhöht befindet sich der wunderschön gestaltete Poolbereich mit Liegen und Sitzmöglichkeiten, der von uns rege genutzt wurde. Allein hier zu liegen und bei angenehmen Wassertemperaturen und dem herrlichen Ausblick den Urlaub zu genießen ist fantastisch. Eine integrierte Außendusche des Poolhauses rundeten den Luxus ab. Lediglich etwas mehr Beschattung wäre hier ratsam. Wir selbst hatten noch 2 Sonnenschirme dabei – die waren auch notwendig. Auch die Instandsetzung der Poolbeleuchtung wäre ein Verbesserungsvorschlag. Um die Bewässerung der Bäume sowie um den Pool kümmerte sich täglich ein sympathischer Herr namens Guiseppe, der italienisch und französisch spricht. Die Umgebung: Pisa und Luca sind lediglich 30 Minuten entfernt. Nach Florenz und San Gimignano dauert die Fahrt etwa 1 ½ Std. Den Strand erreicht man in 10 Minuten. Die Bagnos hier sind allerdings tatsächlich unverschämt teuer – Preise von 80€ pro Tag werden hie

Amazing

This is a lovely house in a fantastic setting. The house is well equipped and has amazing views over the hilltops. It is ideal for friends or family to share with 4 equal bedrooms, and last but not least, an excellent pool. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Sommerferien 2019

Wir haben in diesem Haus zwei schöne Sommerferienwochen verbracht. Das Haus hat den Abbildungen und den Beschreibungen entsprochen. Hervorzuheben ist die schöne Einrichtung und die gute Ausstattung der Küche. Wir haben den schönen Pool viel genutzt. Giuseppe war stets ansprechbar und bemüht zu helfen. Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Beautiful house with stunning views of theTuscan hills

We loved our stay at Villa Oliveto. The house is really beautiful; pared back luxury, very stylish but functional too. The view of the hills is just stunning and we spent hours in the morning and evening lazing on the terrace enjoying the vista. The house itself is fitted with every mod con. Each of the four bedroom has en-suite, the kitchen has a large and wide range of equipment. The pool area on a terrace slightly above the house is beautiful too and conducive to full relaxation. Giuseppe, the caretaker was very friendly and helpful and gave us some absolutely fantastic restaurant tips which helped make the trip even more wonderful. The location of the house is also excellent; Pisa, Lucca, Forte dei Marmi all reachable in less than half an hour. The local town of Pietrasanta is also a gem- lovely restaurants, galleries, boutiques and the feeling of authentic Italy. We can’t wait to return!

Wonderful Family Holiday

The villa certainly lived up to the photographs and descriptions. It was very well equipped, comfortable and clean. The kitchen was superbly equipped with plenty of glasses, china, and utensils. Plus a great coffee machine! We had a wonderful family holiday - our 6 month old grandson was well catered for with a travel cot, high-chair and bouncy chair. The owner was very helpful and accommodating and it was a pleasure booking our holiday with her. We were able to reconnect with an area of Italy we know well and love. All in all it was a relaxing holiday, in a beautiful part of the world in a well appointed, comfortable villa. We would certainly recommend this property!!

Great location and views

A modern villa with all the trimmings you would hope for from a luxury villa, very clean and well equipped. The person that looks after the villa is very friendly and helpful, especially for restaurant recommendations. The view from the villa and pool is great. The villa is good for both relaxing and entertaining. The area is not too touristy and most of the time when you dine out locally it is with Italians.

Our family is living in Belgium .most of the time we use this holiday home in Tuscany for private use. The house has been completely renewed the last years and it is furnished and equipped with in accordance with our personal taste.
We rent it a couple of weeks as it started with demands from friends. We ask the people who come to enjoy our house, to fully respect it.

Why they chose this property

Not only are the house and domain beautifully designed and built, but at the same time is the location a great benefit. You are on top of a hill looking on to the mountains and feel secluded, but are at the same time only 5 minutes away from the village center and 10 to 20 minutes from cities such as Pietrasanta, Viareggio, Camaiore and Forte dei Marmi, as well as the beaches of La Versilia.
