Step off your first floor balcony and into the sand. This spacious first floor 2 bedroom, 2 bath oceanfront condo (~1100 square feet) opens directly onto the beach. This unit can sleep 8-10 people comfortably. There are two assigned parking spaces and additional free parking on the street adjacent to the unit on both 38th and 39th street. Listen to the waves crash and smell the salty air as soon as you open the balcony door from the living room or master bedroom. The large balcony with gate access and steps to the beach is perfect for relaxing with your morning coffee or evening drinks . Spend a week enjoying and relaxing in this peaceful, family friendly atmosphere right on the beach in this updated unit. The master bedroom is direct oceanfront with views from both the large window and the sliding door to the balcony.

Conveniently located off 39th St., it is directly across the street from the O.C. Convention Center. This unit is also within walking distance (less than 10 blocks) to shopping and many restaurants/bars including Seacrets, Macky's, Finnigan's, Taphouse, O.C. Steamers, 45th Street Shopping Village, On the Bay Seafood, Rita's, Coconuts, Dough Roller and Satellite Café to name a few. Minimum age rental limitation. Security Deposit required. No smoking. No pets.

AMENITIES: The master bedroom has one queen bed with new furniture and mattress. The master bedroom has its own private bathroom and a direct view of the ocean/beach with access to the balcony. The second bedroom has a queen, double bed and single bunk bed with new mattresses that sleeps 6 people. Both bathrooms have a full bathtub/shower and were renovated this year with brand new toilets, vanities, faucets and fixtures. The living and dining room are newly furnished and decorated. Sofa was recently purchased in 2014 and is a queen size sleeper. Stove/oven and refrigerator are newer appliances. The sliding door to the balcony allows for expansive views of the ocean. There is a flat screen and DVD player in both bedrooms and the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with newer silverware, cookware, dishes, glasses and other kitchen accessories including Keurig, microwave, garbage disposal, coffee maker, toaster and blender. Central air conditioning and heat, additional fans for extra comfort, iron and ironing board and vacuum. In addition there is a laundry room at the entrance of the unit with a full-size washer and dryer for convenience and a newly installed HVAC unit and 80 gallon hot water heater during 2015. The kitchen was completely remodeled during 2016 and includes all stainless steel appliances, newly refinished cabinets as well as beautiful granite counter-tops and island. In addition the living area, hallway and kitchen have newly installed beach wood floors. Heavily padded, brand new carpet was installed in the bedrooms during 2017.

WHAT TO BRING: towels, sheets and pillow cases, soap/laundry detergent and paper products. Bedding consists of 3 queens, 1 double and 2 singles.

I have lived in Maryland my entire life. I am a big Ravens and Orioles fan. I enjoy working out, playing soccer and relaxing on the beach in my spare time. After years of spending many weekends and weeks vacationing in OC with friends/family, I decided that it was time to buy a place of my own so that I can call Ocean City, MD my home away from home.

Why Chad Dye chose Ocean City

I spent many weekends searching for a beach home and none seemed to be a perfect fit for me. Before Summer 2014 started, I had almost completely given up until I saw a listing that intrigued me very much due to it being a great location, ocean front, walk off balcony into beach, and 2 bed/2 bath which was what I had set my hopes on for a beach condo. I was ecstatic to be able to spend many summer nights in this Diamond Beach unit. I love spending time at the beach and now I have the perfect excuse to take time out of my busy schedule to head down to OC. There is no better way to spend the summer! If you are looking for a place to spend your family vacation summer after summer, give this place a try and you won't be disappointed.

Great Condo

This was condo has a great look and location. It is just a few steps away from the beach and easy walking distance to great restaurants. The upgrades to the condo are very nice and we can't wait to stay here again next year.

Nicely redone, great location!

While the building is older, the unit has been nicely redone. The kitchen is equipped with all that you need and we heard no noise from upstairs.

Excellent Experience! Excellent Landlord! Excellent Location!

When considering this condo for our vacation, I was intrigued by all of the positive comments and I'm more than satisfied with our experience! Chad has been a exceptional landlord and I would recommend this rental with no hesitation to any friends and/or family members! Chad was very responsive to my initial inquiry, follow-up questions and he even provided us with recommendations for restaurants and fun attractions while visiting the area. In my opinion, Chad represented a dedicated and friendly landlord! The condo was in a perfect location for our group of 8. We could come and go with ease to and from the beach all day long. The keyless entry is one the the BEST ideas, as we didn't have to worry about exchanging keys between the 8 of us during the entire trip! The condo was clean and well-maintained with all of the essential items that we would need for our week-long stay. The beds were comfy and we loved the open floor plan between the kitchen, dining and living room area, which even led out to the back patio that we used a lot during our stay. The condo has a perfect location, as it is not centered in the commotion of the boardwalk and crowd, but is in walking distance (or a short bus ride) to the excitement of the boardwalk! We absolutely loved our time at Ocean City and this rental gave us the feeling of a home away from home as we weren't shoved like sardines in a hotel room!! If we decide to return to Ocean City (which I really hope we do!!) I would not hesitate to return to this condo, as our experience was more than positive! I appreciate you allowing us to have a great place to stay for the week and for being such a helpful and friendly landlord!!

Great stay

Very last minute trip to Ocean city when we decided to tour Salisbury University. Owner very quickly responded to inquiry and whole transaction was done in 5 min. Love that door had key code because one less thing to worry about losing. Kitchen is updated with stainless steel and has an island. Loved the balcony to the beach- my very favorite part. Would definitely rent again!

Beautiful oceanfront condo

We stayed at Chad's condo for the weekend in late October while in town for the Seaside 10 race. The location is great...it's a first floor walk out condo where you can go straight out onto the beach. The condo itself has been completely renovated (to include both bathrooms and the kitchen). It's rare to find a place to stay in Ocean City that doesn't scream 1980s! Anyways, if you're looking for a cozy, modern beach getaway this is your place.
