Located about 5 minutes from the city center by private car and 10 minutes by bus, with easy access to any point on the island, very comfortable and quiet which allows you to enjoy a mixture of environments between the countryside and city. With wooded garden, romantic corners, solarium, south terrace, barbecue, leisure areas with wide odd panoramic views, the bay of Funchal to the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains, ideal for those seeking rest in peace. Located on a hill in the amphitheater of the city of Funchal in the background allowing you to offer a wide and privileged view to watch the New Year's fireworks and the weekend of June: Atlantic Festival ( with fireworks), or even the lights in the festive seasons. Wir waren überwältigt von dem Ort. Im November konnten wir einen Mai erleben, uns sonnen, im Garten diese einzigartige Flora genießen und ständig mit offenem Mund auf diesen Ausblick schauen. Die Wohnung selbst war ideal für uns eingerichtet. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Hervorzuheben war die Freundlichkeit der Vermieterin, Filomena. Kurz um- wir werden wiederkommen. Für alle, die sich dort einmieten wollen ist wichtig zu wissen-man benötigt ein Mietauto! Die Fahrt zum Haus ist vom Flughafen aus in gut 20 min machbar. Die Berge sind allerdings steil. Ein Supermarkt ist in 10 min Reichweite. In das Zentrum von Funchal fährt man mit dem Auto ca. 15 min. Herzlichen Dank an Filomena!

Accueil très chaleureux de la propriétaire. Location très propre avec une belle vue sur Funchal.Voyage particulièrement adapté pour les randonneurs. Toujours prévoir une parka et des chaussures adaptées car le temps peut changer très vite. En ce qui nous concerne, nous avons fait les randonnées avec l'application viso rando qui en sélectionne tout en nous laissant la possibilité d'en créer d'autres.

séjour très agréable, vue magnifique

Bel appartement avec vue magnifique au couché et levé du soleil sur Funchal, équipement complet (dont lave linge + seche linge), une belle terrasse pour prendre le petit dej / repas avec la vue, et un beau jardin tropical bien entretenu. Facilité pour se garer, hotesse très agréable qui fait tout pour rendre service et parle bien français. On recommande sans hésiter.

Vue fantastique

Un accueil très chaleureux et beaucoup d explications, de délicates attentions et une vue magnifique. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet appartement très bien situé . Le seul bémol est la voie rapide pas très loin mais on l'oublié très vite surtout quand on profite des magnifiques couchers de soleil. Merci à filomenia pour son accueil.

Location tout à fait conforme à la description. Appartement fonctionnel et très bien équipé, bien situé pour découvrir facilement l'île. La propriétaire Philoména est très sympathique et attentionnée. Vraiment une bonne adresse à conserver pour un séjour sur Madère !

Hier ist alles sehr schön. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Probleme werden sofort gelöst. Leider ist die Autobahn akustisch doch recht präsent. Sonst top.

Bel appartement avec accueil au top

Appartement, propre, calme, confortable, fonctionnel, très bien équipé, bien situé, ensoleillé toute la journée, dans un cadre fleuri, avec une vue splendide sur Funchal. WIFI impeccable, TV avec des chaines du monde entier, place de parking à l'intérieur de la propriété ... Surtout, excellent accueil de Filomena, la sympathique propriétaire, qui, tout en étant discrète, est aux petits soins pour ses locataires. Elle est très bavarde et n'est pas avare de conseils et de vous communiquer les bonnes adresses. Si je retourne à Madère, je ne chercherai pas ailleurs.

Wunderschön und sehr liebevoll!

Die Wohnung ist sehr grosszügig gestaltet, liebevoll eingerichtet mit allem, was man braucht. Filomena kümmert sich sehr nett und gibt wertvolle Tipps. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft und mit Bus in der Nähe der Wohnung ist man recht schnell im Zentrum von Funchal. Ich kann die Wohnung sehr weiter empfehlen!

Nous avons passé deux superbes semaines dans cet appartement surplombant la baie de Funchal. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Filoména qui nous a donné beaucoup de conseils pour découvrir l'île. L'appartement est des plus agréables, le jardin est magnifique. La voiture est indispensable.

Je recommande cet appartement. Le logement est parfaitement équipé (télé, internet, lave-linge ...). Il est très propre. Le jardin et la terrasse sont parfaits pour l'apéritif ou pour manger. Le jardin de Philomena est magnifique. La situation est parfaite pour découvrir l'île et le centre de Funchal est très proche. La vue est splendide. Aucun souci pour trouver l'appart à notre arrivée sur l'île. Philomena nous a gentiment accueilli, a répondu à toutes nos questions, elle nous a indiqué les supermarchés et boulangerie à proximité (très pratique!). Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour et recommandons cette location.

Traumhafter Urlaub im Frühling

Wir (Ehepaar Anfang 50) haben den 2016er Frühling auf Madeira in vollen Zügen genossen. Wesentlichen Anteil daran hatte die wunderschöne Unterkunft, mit allem Komfort und diesem traumhaften Ausblick. Eine tolle Lage und auch nachts ein genussvoller Ausblick auf die Stadt. Die Vermieterin Filomena haben wir ausgesprochen freundlich erlebt mit liebevoller Fürsorge und guten Tips für den Aufenthalt. Insgesamt werden wir gerne wiederkommen!

Stunning Views and Comfort Make This Sought After

You can tell from the other reviews that this property is very highly thought of. It is actually the base floor of a three story villa (yes the other two are rented out as well) and access is gained by dropping down 30 or so steps through a terraced garden. Car parking space is on the road (which is a No through road) and so only utilised by other residents. The great views over Sao Goncalo and Funchal come from the fact you are about 400m above sea level and the roads leading to the property have some very steep sections. Yes a bus service does stop just around the corner but the final hill could be tough for anybody but the fittest. I would recommend a car but one with a large engine otherwise you could spend two weeks coming up in first gear like I did (1.2 Corsa). The layout of the place is just like the pictures and would be comfortable for four but we were only two and it suited our needs perfectly. The front of the property is terracotta tiles and there is a small semi circle where two sunbeds could be placed comfortably. There is also a table and four wooden chairs as well. The garden goes down in terraces and are maturely planted and quite lovely. Inside the property had most appliances you could need and all the accoutrements are all serviceable. There are not too many restaurants close by and so eating means cooking in or taking another trip down and up the hill. However, Filomena is a font of knowledge of the local area and has many attraction and restaurant details in the property and if you seek her opinion she is very forthcoming. We found her a great help and she provided perfect customer service and was quick to respond to any of our queries. I certainly would not hesitate in recommending this property to any relative or friend as the location and facilities were just right for us and far better than stopping in a hotel. Yes there is a constant hum from the Rapide (dual carriageway) which is down the hill but it is not really noticeable (except when a large motorbike screams it's way along but after 15 seconds peace descends again). I certainly found sitting out and reading easy and relaxing. There is also good shade if you are not a sun seeker although as the sun comes around the hillside it does get harder but there is a large umbrella with the property and so that helps (just have to watch if it is also windy!).

I thank you very much for your review about the apartment you rented in my property , but i must say that i am confused when you say that : "Car parking space is on the road and so only utilised by other residents." I am sorry, but you have a parking place closed inside de property , witch you can remenber because you went there every day to enter and leave the property, I thought you preferred to leave the car outside in the front door of the property, because you did not ask me anything more about it . Allso when you say that :" you recommend a car but one with a large engine otherwise you could spend two weeks coming up in first gear like I did (1.2 Corsa)." - this should be a recomendation for all people that visit madeira and rent a car , because if you are discovering madeira you will find more steep roads, because all of madeira land is steep . "access is gained by dropping down 30 or so steps through a terraced garden" - There is a photo of those stairs in the add with the objective of showing that you have them . merveilleuses vacances

Je recommande chaudement cet appartement où nous avons séjourné en famille avec nos 2 enfants. Le logement est parfaitement équipé (télé, internet, lave-linge et lave-vaisselle...). Il est très propre; les matelas et oreillers très confortables.Très bonne isolation phonique entre les pièces. La salle de bains est bien plus moderne qu'elle n'y parait sur les photos, la douche est très agréable. Le jardin et la terrasse sont parfaits pour l'apéritif ou pour manger. La situation est parfaite pour découvrir l'île (45 min de calheta, santana, sao vincente; 1h10 de Porto Moniz) et le centre de Funchal est très proche. La vue est splendide; seul petit inconvénient le bruit de la voie rapide en contrebas mais c'est le prix à payer pour avoir la vue. On s'y habitue et ça ne nous a pas gêné, on a simplement dormi la fenêtre fermée. De toutes façons les nuits sont fraîches à Madère. Aucun souci pour trouver l'appart à notre arrivée sur l'île. Philomena nous a gentiment accueilli, a répondu à toutes nos questions, elle nous a indiqué les supermarchés et boulangerie à proximité (très pratique!). Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour et recommandons cette location.
