Historical Home Fabulous Property

  • 5 of 5

We were three women traveling for a Girl's trip. Absolutely beautiful home, extremely comfortable. The 3 bedroom with 1.5 baths worked out great for us. Rooms very roomy & updated. The kitchen came equipped with any needed kitchen tool. Had some issues with smoke alarm batteries, Terry &/or Chris were quick to respond, of course its never at a convenient time. They were great to work with & very responsive The location is close to buses, subway, etc. We used Lyft a lot, had issues with address & their GPS, learned to put in Roxbury CC & adjust, worked great. If were to return to Boston would definitely return to this place.

Fabulous property for a family excursion to Boston

  • 5 of 5

Our family wants to give a huge shout-out and thank you to Terry and the Fort Hill Inn for a fabulous stay in Boston. Our two youngest sons graduated from Berklee College of Music and we needed a "base of operations" for our large family for graduation weekend. We've been to Boston a few times while they've been in school, stayed in other places, and were very concerned whether we could find an affordable place that would handle our family and be convenient to all the graduation activities.

The accommodations were clean, well-appointed, quite stylish, and comfortable. The bedrooms were spacious. The kitchen/family room was incredible, where we were able to prepare and eat family meals together rather than eating out all the time. The location was super-convenient; we had a vehicle and there was free parking, but we were also just steps away from the subway and easy access to anywhere we needed to go. We found a good grocery store close by and we were stocked up and ready for week.

Even though our sons no longer live in Boston, we're already talking about another family trip to Beantown just for fun -- if so, Fort Hill Inn will be our first choice at which to stay!

Boston home away from home

  • 5 of 5

Our family was in Boston for the marathon, and then stayed for a week of sightseeing. This apartment was perfect for our three generation group. Easy walk to the orange line, which we took into the city every day. Lovely playground within walking distance for the kids. Tropical grocery also within walking distance (0.8 miles). Dining room was perfect for family meals, prepared in the well appointed kitchen. Washer/dryer for laundry in the basement. We loved our stay, and would definitely stay here again if we return to Boston.

Boston 3 BR Historic duplex

  • 5 of 5

The property was exactly what we wanted. The place was clean, the beds were great. We could easily come and go. There is a little confectionary at the end of the block which doesn't have everything you need, but it will get you thru a day or two. Loved it, would stay here again if we ever go back to Boston.

Great Stay in Boston

  • 5 of 5

3 of us had a work trip to Boston, instead of staying in hotel rooms, we booked Terry's place.

We were so glad we did - much nicer and better value for the money. The house is nicely decorated and very clean. Many upgrades to the kitchen. Close to many Boston attractions. One of the best things - free and available parking out front on all 3 days we were there, can't get that in most big cities.

Would recommend to others. Terry made things very easy.

Wading River NY

Extremely unique home

  • 5 of 5

This was the first time my husband and I used VRBO. We really had no idea what to expect! I have to say this house is amazing. It's impeccably decorated with a turn of the century flare yet modern updates in all the right places. The three bedrooms, are all different and unique. Terry was great and responsive. He left out maps and gave us information about UBER (which was a lifesaver). We will definitely return!
