Seamless check-in, great location in Govt. Camp with restaurants and general store within walking distance, cozy vibe and lots of movies/books/games included which is great if you’re traveling with kids. And only a 15-minute drive up to Timberline lodge/skiing. Cabin had lots of space, kitchen was stocked with all needed equipment, and bathrooms were all clean and well appointed! Great memories!

Awesome cabin, great wifi, perfect location

We loved absolutely everything about this wonderful little cabin! It had everything we needed for a super comfortable stay. The kids loved exploring the creek and we appreciated being close enough to walk to town. All communications with the owner went super smoothly and we can’t wait to come back.

Very clean, spacious and well stocked cabin. It was the perfect rustic experience to our winter visit to Government Camp. Note that the stairs are very narrow/steep so not good for anyone with mobility limitations. Also the beds are quite firm although we still slept well.

Cabin in the Woods

What an amazing way to spend Christmas with family. The cabin was in amazing condition, the kitchen had everything we needed, and watching the snow fall with a fire blazing was perfect.

Great location and quiet!

This cabin is well appointed and cozy but room enough to relax, play games and socialize. I had everything I needed for a perfect stay. I had to contact the owner, Blane, for a clarifying question and he was friendly and helpful. I would stay again in a heartbeat!

Perfect location for Mt Hood adventures

This property certainly lived up to expectations ~ it is indeed cozy but very well appointed, a lovely cabin in the woods two blocks off the main road in Government Camp. The layout is well thought out, and accommodated 2 adults and 3 teen skiers perfectly. Would absolutely return, and hope to!

Weekend with friends and family

I found the cabin to be very clean and the main area spacious for our group. The wood burning fireplace was wonderful to sit by after a day fo skiing. There was a great selection of DVDs to choose from, and we enjoyed watching classics our pre-teen kids each night of our stay. The location cannot be beat. The sleeping arrangement does not offer for much privacy, but that is not a deterrent for a 2-day trip for our group.

Lovely vintage cabin in the snow!

We spent two nights at this cabin, and found it to be very charming. The sleeping situation is unique, so make sure that it will work for you. There were plenty of beds, and our bed and linens were clean and comfortable. The home itself is vintage, with most features being original, but we found it to be very clean, cozy, and charming. We loved the proximity to shops and restaurants, and the wall of windows with views of trees and snow in the main living area made us feel extra cozy!

Our favorite cabin!

We have rented this cute cabin several times 20 years ago now we have grandchildren & are delighted to come again. Wonderful fireplace so nice to cozy up with a fire. Large windows overlooking a woods & creek. Fun to play checkers & watch it snow! Welcome dining area & the beds were comfortable. A little challenging to get down steep stairs for bathroom but a minor inconvenience as this cabin oozes with rustic charm! It’s quiet & perfectly located as it’s walking distance to everything in government camp. Thank you & we will definitely rent again! cabin oozes with rustic charm.

Such a cozy cabin!

We wanted to give our daughter a special 18th birthday, this fit the bill perfectly! My husband and I had our own cozy room, and the girls (all 7 of them) fit in the upstairs general room all in beds. The rest of the house was just perfect for meals, playing cards, and watching movies. The location is right in the middle of activities in Government Camp including skiing and tubing. Blane was a good host and communicated very well. We'll definitely bookmark this spot for a repeat visit next snow season!

Cabin exactly as described plus more!!!

This cabin met our expectations and more!! It had all the comforts of home and so clean! The beds were so comfortable. There were lots of games, puzzles and checkers to occupy our grandson. The large windows across the back of cabin overlooking the brook made it so relaxing. We would definitely stay here again!

Great in Every Way

Perfect home base for family ski weekends. Proximity to skiing, restaurants, and general store couldn't be better. Extremely well outfitted and clean. Great wood stove. Beautiful view out back (don't forget to turn on the lights at night in a snowstorm). Really couldn't ask for more.

Cozy, quiet, roomy cabin

We had a wonderful stay in Blane's cabin. It's just tucked away enough from the main drag to feel private and quiet, especially with the creek running through the backyard. The kitchen was well equipped, the number of beds was incredible, and the fireplace was a favorite feature for sure. We loved our stay! I'm sure we'll be back.
