Located at Marina Sol Residences & Resort we are one block to Medano beach , two blocks to the Marina and Downtown Cabo and we also have a Wal Mart Superstore located across the street plus we have free unlimited worldwide calling in our Ultimate Penthouse and fiber optics internet , we also have our Ultimate Penthouse listed on another VRBO listing and its listing # 125855 and you can read over 100 positive reviews on that VRBO listing.

The Front Terrace
This 60 foot long Terrace welcomes you to the Penthouse when you first open the Front Door. Features include overhead ceiling fan, elegant lighting and seating for 10 or more guests on the terrace. The front Terrace also features the best Views possible at the Resort as it overlooks the Marina Sol Pool and Courtyard area which looks spectacular both day and night.


The Great Room
This is the largest room in the Penthouse and features 16 foot Vaulted Ceilings, 60 inch High Definition TV with satellite feed, IPod friendly sound system, comfortable seating for 10 to 12 guests and pocket doors that fold into the walls and bring the outside front terrace area inside. We also have a beautiful water feature and great art work in the great room.

Billiards Room
Features a full size Pool Table with plenty of seating and was designed as a great separate entertainment area.

The Kitchen and Dining Room
This area features 16 foot vaulted ceilings and elegant lighting throughout. Dining area has a 9 foot Granite Island (all one piece) and seating for 10 - 12 guests, Sony Sound System and mini bar area. Kitchen has all Granite kitchen counters and seven high end stainless steel appliances, including a baking oven, ice maker and a two zone wine cooler. Both fridge and sink have purified water filter systems. Kitchen has been set up to prepare gourmet meals and is a favorite venue for our Private Chefs to prepare a meal for your group. You will not find a bigger or better area for cooking and entertaining with friends and family.

The Back Terrace
Pocket doors open from the kitchen and fold into the wall which opens the back terrace area up to the Kitchen and dining area of the Penthouse. We have set up the back terrace with a gas BBQ, overhead TV and a beautiful table and seating for 10 to 12 guests. The back terrace also overlooks the neighboring pool and courtyard area of the Bahia Hotel as well as overlooking the main walking road two blocks from Medano Beach. This back terrace is great for watching excited tourists heading to or coming back from Cabo’s favorite Beach.

The Laundry Room
Features a washer and dryer for our guests’ usage along with many items to make your vacation stay as convenient and enjoyable as possible including: freezer storage ,hotel safe, ice cooler, air mattresses, cribs, high chairs and a complete beach supplies closet with complimentary beach towels and additional pool/beach toys.

The Powder Room
Features a custom marble sink and matching Marble toilet and has all marble finishes.

The Honeymoon Suite
This is the largest and most elegant bedroom in the Penthouse and one of the features is a full size Jacuzzi soaker tub with 6 jets. The spacious granite and marble bathroom also features an open overhead Rain shower, above counter marble sink and very elegant marble finishes.
Other features of the Honeymoon suite include: King size bed (we can add an extra single bed if requested), Granite mini bar with purified water, mini bar fridge, Big Screen TV with a satellite feed, Sony Stereo system with Ipod adapters, and Vanity area. Two bar stools and a marble bar table provide a nice area to relax by the bed with a view from the large back windows that open to expose the surrounding areas and the main walking road to the beach. We also have double pain windows and black out curtains for those who like to sleep late while on vacation.

The Palm Suite
This is a spacious bedroom featuring a King size bed and fold out queen size futon, Big Screen TV with satellite feed, Ipod friendly sound system and private 3 piece bathroom with overhead rain shower and all marble and granite finishes. The large back window of the Palm Suite opens to expose the surrounding Cabo landscape areas and has black out curtains.

The Bamboo Suite
This large bedroom suite features a King size bed and fold out queen size sofa bed, Big Screen TV with satellite feed, Ipod friendly sound system and private 3 piece bathroom that features an overhead rain shower and all marble and granite finishes. The large back window of the Bamboo Suite opens to expose the surrounding Cabo landscape areas and has black out curtains.

The Oasis Suite
Features 2 twin size beds that can also be set up as a King Size bed upon request, Flat Screen TV with a private satellite feed and Ipod player. The 3 piece bathroom features an overhead rain shower and is all in marble finishes. The Oasis suite also has pocket terrace doors that fold into the wall and open the whole bedroom up to the beautiful front terrace that overlooks the Marina Sol Pool and courtyard area as well as Marina Sol’s famous poolside restaurant named the Oasis Bar & Grill.

The Tropical Suite
Features 2 twin size beds that can also be set up as a King Size bed upon request, Flat Screen TV with a private satellite feed and Ipod player. The 3 piece bathroom features an overhead rain shower and is done in granite and marble finishes. The Tropical suite also has pocket terrace doors that fold into the wall and open the whole bedroom up to the beautiful front terrace overlooking the Marina Sol Pool and courtyard area which is planted with dozens of palm trees for a true tropical vacation feel.

This is a really great location for a fun vacation. Couple blocks to the beach, the downtown bar scene, The Office, Chederau for supplies...great location. The onsite staff is outstanding. The unit is wonderful. Highly recommend.

The property was clean and had personal bathrooms for each bedroom. Good location close to groceries, malls, marina, restaurants, and the beach. The only negative was no nice views of the mountains or water. We went in late April, so there was plenty of room at the pool.

We had an amazing time at Marina Sol. close to beach and downtown. All in walking distance. Clean and had all the amenities we needed. We made breakfast every morning in the big kitchen. Pool was great but a little cold. They did fix it and made it warmer after a few days.

Our family had the best possible time while in Cabo and the Ultimate Penthouse could not have been more perfect. Clint and Ivan were great, we took advantage of the spa, the on site restaurant Tres Amigas, spent some time in the pool each day, and were very comfortable in the condo. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to anything we wanted, and far enough away from the loud party scene closer to the beach. The mall down the street and the huge supermarket were very convenient. Between the condo and the amenities both at Marina Sol and nearby, we had everything we needed for a great week in Cabo. Ivan took care of our every need our entire stay. He actually cared about our whole family having an enjoyable stay. Prax was our house keeper and she was amazing! She did just a fantastic job cleaning our rooms. She could speak highly enough for her job and supervisor. (Sorry I forgot his name) Our stay was everything we had hoped for and more…The location allows you to walk downtown, to the marina, or even right the the beach to spend your days soaking in the beauty… We would definitely recommend and plan to return!

40th birthday party

This property was easy to book and was able to accommodate our party very well. The transportation to and from the airport was very efficient and well worth it. The best part of this property is its location. It is very close to the ocean, the marina and well as downtown Cabo. The best cafe (cafe ciudad) is literally around the corner. One of our friends said this was the best location in Cabo he had stayed at. We booked chef Daniel for a night and he made the most amazing meal as well as being a very professional and engaging. It was such a fun way to end our trip. Overall, this property had everything and more we wanted. If we ever come back to Cabo we would definitely stay here again.

Location, Drink and Food Access, Pool, Spa - all amazing!

My girlfriends and I stayed here for a bachelorette party in the penthouse. First, the location of this condo complex is absolutely perfect. It’s in very very close proximity to all fun things Cabo! Second, the penthouse is a perfect layout for a family or a bunch of friends, with everybody having their own bathroom in their bedroom. The penthouse was spacious, clean, and exactly how it is advertised. Our host Clint was very welcoming, greeting us as we checked in! This little condo complex is a hidden gem. They have an amazing pool, a bar and a delicious delicious restaurant! You could just stay in the complex for the day even if you didn’t want to roam around Cabo and you would still have everything you could possibly need! They have a little store as well as a spa located on site too. I would definitely recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

Cabo San Lucas - February 2023

The Ultimate Penthouse Suite was perfect for our family group of eight (8) since we had a need for 5 bedrooms. We wanted to be close to downtown Cabo, Marina, Medano Beach and Restaurants so this property and its location met all our needs. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a large group. It is a spacious property, very clean and no problems with anything. The kitchen area is large and very nice having everything we needed. Marina Sol Resort has a very friendly atmosphere. We had great customer service provided by Ivan who helped us w/luggage and any needs we had while at the Ultimate Penthouse. Elly (Concierge) and Julie (Reservations Mgr.) were very helpful and accommodating from the moment I started working with them. All went very well with our stay!

Clint was great from booking day right till the end. Julie was a huge help as well. There shuttle service was great as well. Our check in with all our bags(16) pieces of luggage were brought to our suite. All were so nice that worked at the resort but there was one man(didn’t get his name) that was amazing. He was always so friendly and helpful. He was our first and our last encounter. He gets 10 stars. Everything is in walking distance. Penthouse kitchen had everything we needed. The Italian Job restaurant right next door a must for lunch or dinner. Pool area was always clean. Well worth every penny we spent.

I planned my husband's 50th at the beautiful Marina Sol Premier Properties. We stayed in the Ultimate Penthouse and it was the best vacation we have ever had. The Penthouse was exactly as described, maybe even better than the pictures. I worked with Maggie and Elly on all the details and they provided such amazing service. Maggie shopped for us in advance of our arrival and made sure we were well stocked after a long travel day, Elly arranged really fun activities and booked a Mariachi for our "Fiesta" at the last minute with such ease that she felt like my Fairy God Mother. We were so well taken care of that my group of 15 did not want to leave. We booked a private chef, Mario, for a welcome taco reception, tequila tasting and bday dinner. We were stuffed and the food was more than delicious. The staff treated us like VIP's and we are already planning a return trip. Our favorite place in CABO!

Family legacy holiday

The VRBO was great, large comfortable bedrooms, large common area and the pool table created lots of inside fun after a hot day. The pool was great, especially for the little ones. The kitchen was VERY well stocked and the grocery pre stocking service was great too! Thank you Julie and Ivan for your help with that and getting us the crib and high chair as well as getting the luggage to and from our condo. The pick up and drop off service was great to and from the airport!!!! The food and drink pool side option at the pool side restaurant was sooooo nice! A person must take advantage of the Corazon Beach Club as it is GREAT if you want to spend the day at the beach. We have never had so much beach and pool time on a holiday. And the beach was lovely and very family friendly. An elevator would have been nice, but we knew that was not an option. All in all, a great family holiday option!!! Thank you so much!

Medano Beach and Downtown Penthouse

This is truly a penthouse… 5 beds, 6 baths, huge kitchen, pool table, full room sliders that open to balcony that overlooks the resorts pool and bar! It is on 3rd floor with no elevator, but you will have help taking luggage in and out. Clean throughout the penthouse. The staff at the Marina Sol Resort are all responsive and friendly. We chose this because was priced right and location was perfect for our group of 7 celebrating 2 birthdays. We didn’t get stuck at an all inclusive trying to get our money’s worth and limited to their restaurants and bars. Medano Beach is a simple inclined 200 yard walk. You will find Edith’s, Tres Seranas, Baja Brewing, Milky Beach, Mango Deck and The Office all within that 200 yard walk. This is also walkable to downtown, or just a $2 per person taxi ride. Thank you Clint and Ivan for being great hosts.

Great location

The property is dated and there is only one pool with regular residents that frequent it daily so not a lot of extra chairs for visitors. We (group of 60+ year olds) rented the ultimate penthouse only to find out that there was no elevator and you had to go up a concrete spiral three story stairway to get to it. So every time you came and went it had to be up and down the stairs. We had quite a few issues when we checked in but the owner was good enough to try and fix them. They were extremely short handed for help so it tests your patience. The penthouse could use a deep clean. With that being said, the location is perfect for getting around. Tons of great restaurants just feet away and the marina is only a big long block away. Again, great location, so so on the resort.

Had a wonderful time here with 9 girls and 5 days. Everyone here is VERY nice and accommodating. Mario came in and made us a DELICIOUS dinner on our first night (a private chef arranged for by Maggie), and a Yoga teacher, Pamela, who came in for 2 mornings (also arranged for by Maggie) that was fantastic! The place is not brand new and had some issues, but Erick was right there to help with anything that came up and was very swift and efficient. Joaquin at the swim up bar at the pool was a delight to chat with and his drinks are STELLAR!! (Drinks are 2 for 1 from 12p to 9p everyday!) The place is about a 10 min walk to the beach or the indoor mall. Easy to walk downtown to restaurants, the marina or flea markets. Felt VERY safe here as it is gated and they have a 24-hr guard. Would highly recommend. The bedrooms are all spacious and every one has its own bathroom. Plenty of dishes, bowls, serving pieces and glasses for all.

All around Good!

Location is great as far as accessibility to restaurants, Walmart, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking pans, glasses, plates, etc. We used both the grill and the oven. Having W/D was super helpful for mid-stay washing. Beds were comfortable, and amenities were well stocked. The pool area was pretty nice; there was "chair claiming" by people leaving towels out all day which I find annoying. We enjoyed the hot tub in the morning before the day got too hot. Only defects are the bigger bedrooms are on the street side and delivery trucks, traffic, can be quite loud. But generally, the overnight noise dies down. The rooms had good black out curtains which was really helpful with light. The other thing we noticed is that the pool table is not slate, so the balls travelled a bit randomly. Still it was great to have as an option to play and we used it a lot. Recommend Justintime #2 for massages, a short walk up the hill from the unit. 90 minutes for $50 (half the price of the spa on site). If you can't spring for beach front, this is a great compromise!

Great location and ideal space for a large group!

The condo itself is exactly what you would expect for a 5br condo, plenty of room for the entire group with a nice living room area for relaxing, and a large island that was perfect for group meals and just gathering space. The pool table offers a nice activity while waiting for the group to get ready. The grill was nice but make sure to close the doors or you can start to smoke out the common area. The complex was conveniently located and the pool was never crowded with a very attentive pool bar staff so we never waited for drinks or felt like we were being pushed into corners. If you want to spend time at the beach near bars like The Office it is just over the hill and very easy to get to. I would suggest using the beach clubs as a home base, they will give you the space for free as long as you are eating and drinking and it keeps some of the beach merchants a little bit away. Make sure if you want to take the boats out to the arch or to snorkel that you negotiate, we got out and back for $10 a person, we heard people paying $30 and we could have probably paid less. You are also close tot he marina that you can walk and enjoy those bars. If you are a coffee drinker Cafe de Ciudad is 2 blocks away, a small whole in the wall type place but their Cuban Cortadito was awesome as was their food. Overall a great experience and we would use the condos again if we go back.
