The location of this magnificent apartment is excellent for a holiday in Barcelona. It is located in the historical and quiet district of the Eixample, one of the best neighborhoods in Barcelona. This very well connected to Public transport, metro, bus and rail, but also can reach the historic center of Barcelona a pleasant walk, about 15 minutes from the elegant Paseo de Gracia, where are located two of the works architect Gaudi, Casa Batllo and la Pedrera. You can also compare the best shops in Barcelona. In the neighborhood of the Eixample, they are also located many art museums in Barcelona.
And less than 50 meters from the floor there are all necessary services: supermarket, pharmacy, ATM, bakery, restaurants ... ..
This Art Nouveau style floor almost 130m2, sXX early and completely renovated, has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher, two types of coffee machines, kettle, etc ... .), a dressing room with large wardrobes and mirror, a sunny galeríamuy with a glass windows Art Nouveau style, and a very large living room (with a double sofa bed) and balcony, with a capacity of up to 8 people, is great for spend a family vacation visiting the city of Barcelona.
Its main features are, ceilings 3 meters high decorated in Art Nouveau style, decorated doors and windows, flooring and wooden flooring throughout the apartment. And a magnificent gallery to relax after a day of sightseeing in Barcelona.
And the floor is very well equipped, heating, ADSL and Wifi, satellite TV, air conditioning, whirlpool bath and shower.
No elevator in the building, and is a very quiet building with neighbors, for this reason the parties and loud noises from 21:00 until 08:00 are prohibited.
Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment you can only smoke on the balcony.

Wonderful spacious apartment with everything you need and more. Comfortable beds, nice linens, showers with great water pressure and hot water for many showers! 2 toilets! Great location and safe neighborhood - convenient grocery store and bakery just downstairs - nice patios on front and inner rooms. Host was flexible with early check in! Great stay- highly recommend. Elevator and easy accessed by 2 flights of stairs. Would come again! Thank you for hosting us in your lovely city!

Wonderful stay in Barcelona

Our extended family party of 8 had a lovely vacation in Barcelona. The apartment was exactly what we were hoping for - it is very charming and in an ideal location for getting around the city. Highly recommend!

Great Stay!

The apartment was charming and was conveniently located. The host was very accommodating and allowed us to check in early. Communication with the host was easy and she provided a list of amenities close by (market, grocery store, restaurants, attractions etc.). I highly recommend this apartment for those who would like to stay in a charming Spanish home.

It was just right!

We were vacationing from the States, and our first time in Spain. The apartment was safe, secure, clean, comfortable and central to public transportation. We are glad we chose to work with Mar, she was helpful and accommodating!

Great area and apartment for families!

Aapartment offers a great space to unwind at the end of each day! Lot's of dining options and grocers within an easy walk. Metro also close by which is a bonus as main attractions like La Sagrada Familia is about a 30-minute walk. Check in was easy as was check out! Would highly recommend and would be happy to stay again if we ever end up back in Barcelona.

Charming

There are many great things about this apartment. 1. We arrived early and were accommodated. With two kids and luggage it is a major plus. 2. Location was fabulous. Easy walking distance of Casa Milá, Casa Batlló. Not far from Sagrada Familia and many other attractions. 3. Lots of space which we need as we live in a massive house. Did not feel cramped with two kids at all. 4. Comfortable beds and great showers which are a must for us. 5. The apartment has old worldly charm which we love but not everyone’s cup of tea. 6. It was clean with plenty of bed linen and towels. 7. A few things do need some attention though such as the toaster was broken. Some light bulbs need replacing, DVD player remote did not work and one evening when we stayed in the kids were disappointed. Small niggles which we took in our stride and do not affect the overall experience. Just these small things can go a long way. 8. A few recommendations such as providing some tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper etc. give a nice caring touch and do not cost a lot. For someone to check in after long travelling and have a cup of tea is so nice before going food shopping esp on a Sunday when shops are closed. 9. Also a supermarket a few yards away and loads of nice restaurants. 10. An overall amazing experience.

Beautiful but noisy and HOT

My family and I had a wonderful time staying in central Barcelona at Mar's apartment. The apartment is spacious and quite beautiful inside. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of construction going on at the building in back of the apartment and in the mornings workmen could actually look right into the bedroom, thank goodness for drapes! There too were very noisy neighbors that we were not notified about in the apartment above us . There was a group of young people who every night at about midnight to 1am decided to move furniture around, sing and dance. About midway through our stay more young people moved into the adjacent apartment and also talked loudly and played music till wee hours in the morning. All of this noise would in truth not be a big deal, it is Spain and it is the city after all, if we could close up the doors and windows but it was HOT! The apartment does not have A/C and we happened to stay this past June during an unexpected heat wave. This of course was not Mar's fault but it did make our stay very uncomfortable for a few days and everyone quickly became grumpy from bad nights of sleep. We would definitely rent the apartment again but next time I will wait until the fall when it isn't so hot out. On a positive note, the location, in my opinion is perfect. The Eixample district where the apartment is located is very beautiful and has wonderful restaurants and cafes everywhere. You are also walking distance to almost all points of interest. Thought the metro is convenient and accessible we chose to walk everywhere, despite the heat, as it really is such a beautiful city. Thank you Mar!

Perfect stay for a group of friends

We stayed here for 5 days and everything worked fine. Mar was always available for every question and the apartment was clean, big and welcoming. So well located, that we could always walk to the best points of the city! Hope to visit soon again

Appartamento collocato in una buona posizione, spazioso e comodo. Unica pecca, i vicini troppo infastiditi dal rumore, forse dei locali sottostanti, che pretendono silenzio assoluto a partire dalle ore 22,00. Considerando che l'appartamento viene occupato da 8 persone, immaginate come sia difficile evitare di parlare ( da fastidio anche solo questo!)

Wonderful Location

This property is located in a convenient district of the city. A market and a bakery are within one block. It sleeps six well. While the owner tried her best, the wifi was inconsistent. Another problem was with ne of the toilets. The flush mechanism was broken and had to be operated by hand. It was promised to be fixed the next day. It was still broken when we left.

Great stay in Barcelona

Great location. Appreciated the fact that my daughter who was in Barcelona before us was able to drop off her luggage and check us in, I would have to say the beds and pillows were not great. Could really use some upgrades there. Loved Barcelona though and was very happy with the apartment. The front room does get some nighttime noise at night. Thanks for sharing your space.

Si vous recherchez un appart moderne et impersonnel ce n'est pas ici qu'il faut aller. Par contre si, comme nous, vous recherchez un lieu avec une âme et le charme d'antan, n'hésitez pas. Appart tout en longueur qui permet de respecter totalement l'intimité de chacun, notamment à un bout une véritable suite (entrée, belle chambre, salle de bain WC et petit salon avec dressing) séparée du couloir par une double porte. Deux autres petites chambres et une autre salle de bain WC. Chauffage très performant. Localisation au top : commerces et centre touristique.

Nice Place, but a little bit worn

Clean, big Apartement in the Center of BCN, with lots of shops and Metrostations around. Easy access, very kind and courteous landlord. The facility just as chairs, beds, doors, pawls are worn and in need of repair, the WLAN area is only in the backjard room. The Street is very busy, so that the livingroom is noisy. One bedroom has the window to the courtyard shaft were you can listen to all sanitary rooms and the elevator, so noisy too. Things we needed for the kitchen we just got the next day-very good! With 7 people (3 adults and 4 kids) is was still OK and we enjoyed our stay. For the kids was the long hall good for slipping and the cupboards the best for playing hide an seek- and they loved the whirlpool bath!! With some fixing and pimping the apartement could be hell of nice- the landlord told us, she would do... whishes from berlin.

zentral gelegene Wohnung mit Jugendstil Charme

Mit insg. 6 Personen haben wir eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser sehr stilvollen Wohnung verbracht. Einrichtung, Fußböden, Badezimmer, alles ist hochwertig, auch wenn Türklinken etc. sehr in die Jahre gekommen sind. Trotzdem kann man dort sehr gut wohnen, Lebensmittelgeschäfte sind direkt um die Ecke und das Zentrum ist fußläufig zu erreichen.Die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet und mit zwei Bädern war das Leben auch zu sechst komfortabel. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Beautiful apartment

Lovely apartment, tons of space. We had 6 people staying here, and there was more than enough room. It's a beautiful space in a great neighborhood. Very easy to get to the metro, grocery store, restaurants, etc. We would definitely stay here again.

The owners took care of plumbing and internet issues pretty promptly. We had to buy toilet paper as there wasn't enough for a week's stay. We also had to buy soap and laundry detergent. We thought it would have made sense for those things to be provided. Nonetheless I would recommend this VRBO.

THE BEST APARTMENT THAT I HAVE STAYED IN BARCELONA

This was a fantastic apartment that we stayed in Barcelona. If i was to visit again I would definitely stay here. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay and was very clean and tidy. Its very close to everything and the Ramblas is approx a 20min walk. Theres a local supermarket around the corner and several nice bars within a few mins walk. The owner Mar and her husband were fantastic, as soon as we arrived we were able to go straight to the apartment. I was able to contact Mar straight away when we found out our flight had been cancelled and she was extremely kind in letting us stay for an extra night as we would have been stranded. Mar went over and above for us in our difficult situation and i cannot thank her enough for her kindness and help. I would recommend anyone travelling to Barcelona to stop in this apartment. Thanks for the wonderful stay here. Jane Morgan

Beautiful Apartment in Convenient Location

This apartment was great for our stay. The space was large enough to accommodate the whole family (5 plus baby), it was clean, and the location was convenient. Also, the owners were absolutely fantastic to work with - they happily accommodated our early arrival time and were really easy to communicate with.

Spacieux et calme (un luxe en Espagne !)

Nous avons séjourné dans cet appartement très spacieux à 6 avec un bébé de 19 mois en + fin mai 2017. C'est un agencement idéal pour que chacun est son espace, avec une distribution des pièces plutôt atypique mais très commode au fond. Il est situé tout près de la Pedrera et du Paseo de Gracia qui mène directement à Plaza Catalunya, en marchant un peu. Une situation plutôt intéressante, même si un peu éloignée de la plage et Barceloneta ! Il faut compter environ 45 minutes en métro avec un changement de ligne. En revanche, le quartier est très calme ce qui est un luxe en Espagne ! Barcelone est une ville où l'on marche beaucoup, donc nous avons pleinement apprécié. Attention cependant à ne pas faire de bruit car l'appartement du dessous est occupé 24h/24 et le voisin peu aimable ! S'agissant d'un vieil appartement (typique, très beau), tout est en parquet et bien entendu avec un petit qui s'entraine à la course c'est pas toujours simple... Côté aménagement c'est parfait ! Tout est prévu, du fer à repasser à l'essoreuse à salade !! Seul regret, nous n'avons pas rencontré la propriétaire ; nous aurions apprécié qu'elle vienne nous saluer après les multiples échanges mails que nous avions eus ! Nous recommandons cette location si vous souhaitez un séjour au calme... pour les fêtards : oubliez ! ;)

bel appartement au charme desuet

Nous avons passé un excellent sejour dans cet appartement au charme désuet. Il est très bien situé géographiquement à 10 minutes à pied du centre ville et à 25 minutes toujours à pied de la gare centrale. Il est situé dans le quartier de l'example, dans une rue passante mais avec le double vitrage et la climatisation, ça n'a posé aucun problème. Nous étions 6 adultes et avons apprécié les deux salles de bain. L'appartement est traversant et l'arrière est très calme. A noter quelques restaurants sympas à proximité .
